Bought ski boots here because I heard they have really experienced fitters. My salesman/fitter was a real nice guy, but he didn't fit me correctly - he needs more training. Two days skiing in the boots and had to stop because of the pain. Took boots back to consult with one of their boot fitting experts. Great experience-Bill assisted me, and was extremely detailed. Went back two days later to pick them up - Cliff assisted me, and also couldn't have been more detailed and helpful. It seemed like both of these guys know as much about the foot bone structure as an ortho surgeon. They did a lot of work on them and now are great. Thanks guys! read more

This place is terrible. I purchased a $400.00 Spyder ski jacket from them for my 13 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. Within a couple months the cool Spyder logo went from loose to dangling from the sleeve. Granted the functionality of the coat is unaffected and Spyder products in my opinion are generally second to none. However, the logo is the "fashion statement" especially for young girls. It's ridiculous to tell the customer nothing can be done and to suggest that it's simply "normal wear". That's like buying a new Mercedes and having all the badges fall off leaving people wondering if that might not be a Kia? I would expect more from a premium retailer especially when it comes to standing behind the products you sell. read more

If Nick and Josh would have had inventory I would give the store a 5 star rating, but they had no inventory. I find two knowledgeable and thorough boot fitters that go beyond my forty years of buying ski equipment only to find they don't have my size. The horrible part is that other stores do have the size I need and the only way I can get the proper fit is to go to the other stores. So I find the qualified team, but can't purchase the correct size unless I drive to another store and bring it back to Nick and Josh. Well it cost your company a sale and I won't consider another boot fitter until Nick and Josh have the boots I need. read more

The staff are rock stars and really know what they're talking about which makes for outstanding customer service. The store is very large and nicely laid out so it's very easy to find exactly what you are looking for. If you are in the market to buy a new snowboard, ask for Kevin Woodward. SKI or BOARD Tune Up Warning! If you drop your skis or board to get a tune up double check the date you want to pick it up on the paperwork for if they put the next day you get it when you want it. I dropped my board off four days ago and was suppose to be ready in Thursday the 13th but since the guy write Friday the 14th I will have to take off to the mountains tomorrow not tonight like planned. Woody is awesome, he took all the time to ask questions about our riding ability and skill level, what type of riding we do, what we are currently wearing/ riding and more. Then he explained not just what is good about the boots but why they need to fit a certain way, why they're the right ones for us etc. he also took the time to custom heat mold them, and make sure the fit was just right. He asked us to bring back our boards so he can adjust the bindings to fit the new boots. Dom even ran to chipotle to pick up lunch for us while we were being tortured in the heat mold process! when Looking for help I finally found someone at the register at the front. when I asked her to see if they had the item I was looking for at this store or others around Denver, she told me "no" that it would bring up to many pages to look Through. I also asked what the price was and she guessed. I think it's reasonable to ask the price for something before buying it. I then called on my phone the surrounding stores and asked for the price and if they had it stock. I located this product at REI and I will be purchasing it there. My wife and I recently purchased sets of golf clubs here and had a great experience. We worked with Bill, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He had us hit some practice balls on their course simulator, took our measurements and then worked with us to get us exactly what we needed. We are both tall so we're able to get clubs custom fitted for us, which was a perk. We weren't pressured into buying high end gear either... just got the appropriate clubs for our skill set and budget. Prices are as affordable as Dicks or Sports Authority, but you get a lot of expertise and customization they don't offer. Highly recommended. I will be back for any future golf purchases. read more

First off, this is the first time I've ever written a review on Yelp but I was treated so well by the staff here that I felt it was necessary to let others know. I spent 6 years in retail/retail management and it is not an easy to job. I purchased a snowboard at the Aurora location last winter and rode it all year when I noticed the board started to come apart. The edge between the binding were literally wide open and I probably had one more ride before the board was toast or I injured myself. I was still under the one year warranty, but the board had a decent core shot on the bottom and even though it wasn't linked to the board coming apart, I was pretty sure the manufacturer would decline a warranty request to replace it. I went in to Christy Sports on Saturday, November 19th and was greeted by the staff and told them what happened. They seemed to be in agreement that the manufacturer would most likely decline it but to me it was worth $25 in shipping costs to try and send it back and see what they say. A guy named Woody even said that if they decline it he would work on it and try to fix it himself. Their staff really wanted to help the best they could. I got a call the very next day from Woody, and he said they just decided to swap it inhouse and worry about getting the manufacturer to take care of it later. They gave me this years model that was almost $200 more sticker price and even refunded my $25 shipping cost. They could've easily just told me no and I wouldn't have been upset but they went up and above to take care of me even though I bought it at another location. I spend over $1,000/year on snowboarding and golf gear and now will be doing so at this location. I am a customer for life. It's easy to have good customer service to help someone buy something but to me I think you find out how good a store like this is by how they take care of you when things break. I have shopped here for many years and used to love the store. It still looks great, but the friendliness seems gone. I went in to shop for a complete ski rig, skis, boots, poles, bindings, the works. Wasn't greeted when we entered, spent 20-30 minutes looking over women's skis and bindings and were not greeted or acknowledged in any way. Yes, the salespeople for the most part had customers, but you can still wave or say "I'll be by when I'm finished." Nothing. And then on the way out the door there are three counter people talking and looking at phones, but not saying "did you find what you need?" or "thank you for coming." Nothing. My husband and I went to this location for the Skirex sale to buy ski boots. Our sales person Kelsey was extremely knowledgeable and helped us both find Tecnica boots that support our middle age feet issues. She informed us that the boots can be adjusted for free after we wear them and they have a custom insert machine if we find the original insoles aren't supportive enough for us. The custom inserts are an additional charge but once you get past 50 comfort is everything! We weren't able to get last years' model but we still got a great deal and excellent customer service. We will definitely send friends and family to this location and tell them to ask for Kelsey. read more

I was completely clueless on the type of coat that would be appropriate for my daughter's needs. Jake, at this location ( Littleton), asked me what my daughter was going to be needing a coat for, and then he made 3 recommendations that he felt were excellent choices. Then he helped narrow down why I should choose one or the other. I could not have done this, seriously without his help, because he knew the product inside and out and he knew the so much about each company that created the coat. I worked with Jake in the snowboard department to help me when I was sold snowboard boots from the Boulder store. He helped to try and fix the situation (I was some boots that we're too big). But when I went back a couple of weeks later, as the fix didn't work, the manager(s) (Eman and Luke) were unwilling to help and said I had to drive back to Boulder to exchange the boots. I went here to get fitted for ski boots after getting bad shin bang from my rentals. Bill helped me and he had so much good advice and really took his time to make sure I got the perfect boot for my foot. I had everything already picked out (as far as looks) what I wanted and unfortunately nothing I originally wanted worked for my foot and ski level. After he found me the perfect boots we went to talk skis since the ones I liked weren't right for my ski level and how I prefer to ski. He was so helpful and funny and really just gave A+ service. Would highly recommend coming here to get skis and accessories. They have a lot of great advice and take the time explain and measure everything. Side note the salesman next to me had a nightmare customer who had all kinds of issues and seemed to be very negative and demanding and the gentleman kept going above and beyond to help her and make her happy, which even though I felt bad for him i was very impressed with his professionalism and giving her 100% of his attention. My husband needed to come here for snowboarding boots/bindings. I just wandered aimlessly while he took care of business:) the store is deceptively large! WAY too many things to take home with you, but great quality. This was our second attempt at this. The first time it was crawling with people that apparently had the same idea as us (go figure, snow's coming and EVERYone wants to go skiing/snowboarding!), and it was impossible to get some assistance with boot fittings. The second time was a bit better, but it took us 20 min to get someone over to help us, and that was after asking. It didnt seem it was a priority to make sure we had help, and there werent even that many people in there. Once we got some help everything went smoothly. Great quality boots! read more

This place has a decent selection of ski clothing, but unlike my review of the Aurora store the staff is kind of rude. My specific point being the ski service dept. Had to wait a few minutes for someone to appear, no greeting (is a hello so hard), when I asked for a wax and edge the guy just threw down the forms.
