DO NOT make a special order for golf clubs here. They fill out a generic form from their parent company and are sure to screw up your order. You're left with "somebody will call you to complete your order". They don't take club fitting seriously. I ordered two wedges and received them 1 week after they said they would arrive and they were the wrong lie angle. I'm leaving on a golf trip tomorrow and now won't have my new clubs. They do not take golf seriously and you will not receive the attention you deserve for spending as much as golf clubs cost. Will not spend another dollar here. read more

Came to this location to buy snowboarding boots. This is my first season and I had no idea what I was looking for. Alex Dixon helped me out and he was rad and awesome. He helped me get the perfect boots for being a super beginner without being judging about me starting from scratch at 27. Then he helped my roommate pick out the perfect skis and bindings. He was very up front and honest about prices and what we needed. Didn't try and upsell us things we didn't need to cash in on his commission. Ski boot department is a bunch of car salesman. Bought Dalbello Pantera 120 for over $500 2 seasons ago. Was having issues with boots and called after season was over and said they could not help me. Dealt with it last year. This year I go to Christie Sports to a boot guru I was recommended to go see. He tells me my boots are to big for me. Had to spend almost $200 to get properly adjusted and fitted. Work great now thanks to him. If you're gonna drop $$$ go somewhere else where they know what they are doing. UPDATE: Although I appreciate your response. I was fitted with a wrong boot size and had to buy a new pair of Ski boots. read more

If you need anything tuned, then be sure to go somewhere else!! Just picked up my snowboard and will never return to CO ski and golf!!! The edges if even sharpened at all must have been done with a nail file. They failed to mention the extra charge they put on my invoice when I dropped it off - to fill a core shot. It was pretty expensive compared to other places I have gone. The board came back filthy which to me is an indication that they really don't care about the actual equipment or the fact that it belongs to someone else. Even after filling some small gashes, they failed to even things out so the fillings have defined edges that stick out. What a mess. If you value your equipment and want it treated the way you would treat it yourself then stay away from this place! read more

My boyfriend and I bought two Epic passes and two new pairs of snow boarding boots from your Littleton location. We were told at time of purchase that there was a riders performance guarantee so we were happy. The cashier took our receipt and told us she needed it for her records. My boyfriend found a pair of Vans he liked better, tried to return them (same cashier same store) and the Epic store wouldn't give him his money back bc we had no receipt (Even though they needed ours for their records). My boots were a little big so I called to see if they could check to see if there was a smaller size in store and the cashier on the phone told me she couldn't check for me and refused to get anyone on the phone that could. The cashier was rude and unwilling to help. We've spent over $1800 in your store in the past month and are highly disappointed in the customer service. read more

So happy we met Cliff, their boot salesman bc this is the first time I've found boots that don't hurt and the fit is AMAZING! The store wasn't busy on the weeknights we visited. (But if you go & it's busy and you have to wait, he's totally worth it bc he'll figure out what you need and that's priceless.) Take your old boots in bc he can tell a lot by looking at them. He'll ask u questions and work with you until you have a perfect fitting boot! He knows skis too - he was a ski instructor for years. This review applies only to my ski tune experience. I saw a few reviews on here where people commented on the lack of professionalism - unlucky for me, I didn't see them until I had already dropped them off. When I picked up the skis my daughter's skis had residual wax pieces all over them and really weren't cleaned up at all. Even worse my brand new-ish RMUs had huge globs of wax dripping down the sides of both skis. Of course they tried to just hand them back without cleaning them up. If the skis looked that bad on pickup I can only imagine how much care they put into the tuning. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. read more

This store lacks training! To start, the junior trade program attendant after completing the paperwork and giving us our claim check, forgot to mention that we pay at a separate register. I just happened to be paying for separate items and asked the clerk when we pay for the skis. She said now, otherwise it would be stealing...um ok good to know. Then an item rang up at a different price than it was marked. It took over a half an hour for the manager to rectify the problem. On a 2nd visit to pick up the junior skis, the clerk could not find our paperwork. After 45 minutes, they located the paperwork in the "wrong pile". Go to another ski and golf! read more

I went in looking for a new set of clubs about a week ago. I was greeted kindly at the the front door and then as we were looking around was asked by Bill if he could be of any assistance. We chatted for a while. He showed me what was in my price range and then suggested I hit a few different clubs. In doing so he was able to help me decide what was a a good fit for me. Just wanted to share our great experience today! I bought a pair of ski boots last year, and they were never fit properly for me. Hence - I went skiing, jammed my toes into the front of the boot, bruised both big toes, and didn't get to ski again the entire season. A $500 problem, since I couldn't use my already purchased ski pass (and losing both toe nails. It has been almost a year, and they still haven't healed properly!). I was told to come back, and CSG would make it right. And they most certainly did. Cliff spent easily two hours with me, making sure I got the right boot with the right fit. Then Charles spent quite a lot of time finding my receipt from 2016, so I could trade in my old boots for new ones, since the old ones, it turned out, were actually the WRONG SIZE!! Recently I had an amazing customer service experience, with a somewhat complicated process trying to secure not one, but 2 specific jackets I had seen at other locations but in a different size than what I needed. I was incredibly fortunate to be helped by Jake BD, an extremely knowledgeable and helpful employee. He was dedicated to making things right with orders from other locations which somehow got lost in transit and/or placed out on the floor for sale when they were supposed to be held for me to pick up. This store has the WORST customer service around and I wouldn't recommend anyone shopping there! Before this company was taken over by Vail Resorts they actually had customer friendly programs and now the money hungry Vail Resorts owns it those programs went out the door! The manager at this store doesn't do the right thing and even listen to the customer! After driving from the Westminster store to the Littleton store just to be told "you are out of luck". I will NEVER shop at any of the Colorado Ski and Not Golf ever again! read more

I've been to all the CSG locations and this review mostly covers them all... The good: They have great sales if you sign up for their email program. I just used a $50 coupon on a $150 jacket and 20-25 % coupons seem to come all the time. Selection is usually very good. Good experience with the repair shop and staff when I needed my skis repaired quick for a trip. The Bad: Customer service is lacking. They are so big that you are just herded through like cattle and are forgotten after you give them your money. I also had a very bad experience of being sold a boot totally wrong for my foot a few years back. They are owned by Vail Resorts so that should explain the cattle herding... To me... what sets specialty stores apart is customer service since they all really carry the same products. If your looking for something you don't need professional assistance with like gloves, socks, or you have already done your research and know exactly what you want, I would recommend them. If you want a place that remembers your name the next time you come in then CSG is not for you. read more

Wonderful service and great staff! I went to the store on Parker (closer to my home), the guys there were nice but did not fit me properly. Since I am completely new to golf my initial plan was to purchase a set of quality irons and slowly build my set. After explains this to the staff members there, they constantly would refer me to the Tour Edge Bazooka set. I made a few trips and spoke with a couple sales guys and many of them keep pointing to a starter kit. So I purchase one and that was a big mistake. On the second day I learned that my driver head can carry 40 yards and get a total distance of 78 yards lol. Needless to say I returned the set. The staff was friendly and returned the set with no problems. I decided I would stick to my original plan and build the set I wanted. I was interested in the Minuno JPX forged iron set which the Parker location did not have but the store in Littleton did. The next day I arrived to the Littleton store when it opened. Quickly I was created by the door staff and was introduced to Bill. I told Bill the approach I wanted to take with getting started. He was very supportive of starting with the equipment and grabbed both the forged and non forged Mizuno irons. After a few swings Bill walks in and tells me the forged is my option because I would require a stiff flex (the tour edge was a uniflex). I continued to hit the irons and Bill would offer me advice on my rookie mistakes. The irons felt great and I was sold. We switched to drivers and again Bill was quick to offer advice and help he hit better. This also help to provide better data as I was comparing the R15 to the M2 driver. I spent a lot of time in the store so there were other customers to assist. I told Bill I would have a look around while he assisted the two ladies wanting to hit a few clubs. I looked at bags and then putters. When Bill was finished he met me in the putter section. I had no clue on what I needed but only that I liked mallet putters. Once again Bill was there to not only find a putter that fit but explained how the putter swing mechanics worked and how certain things would be helpful or harmful. I picked up a putter and grabbed a Nike bag and headed to the register. While checking there was a price adjustment required. One of the managers came to assist by the name of Dee. He was very friendly and courteous. While cleaning the putter he noticed a few dings in the paint of the mallet that I did not notice. This was not a huge issue to me but he told me that he would discount it for me. The next day I decided to purchase a super stroke grip for the putter and look at a few wedges. While browsing the putter grips and gentlemen by the name of Mark who is the golf tech struck a conversation with me. Mark is not a salesman but he offered excellent advice and showed me a few grip options. While Mark was installing the grip I found a set of wedges that would fit perfectly into my set and the price was great. They were the only ones left, that being said...sold. After the 3-4 hours I spent in the store Bill, Dee, Mark, and everyone else I met in the store was wonderful to work it. After my misinformed experience at Parker the team in Littleton stepped up and set me up with a set that I wanted and needed. I have two clubs left to complete my set and I will definitely return to the Littleton store for my purchase! read more

With all the hub a bub on Sniagrab commodity product sales during Labor Day weekend, we remembered our postive experience at CSG last year buying ski boots, Last year, we bought ski boots at SG which the salesmen simply fitted us totally disregarding long term fit and comfort. (you actually go down in size with ski boots) These were returned within 2 days and we made the buy from Scott at the CSG in Littleton. Scott is a product genus, he spent 45 minutes with us last year and to our surprise, he was working again this year as my Westside girl sought new downhill skis. Amazing techincal service from Scott-he spent almost an hour with us in a very busy store and went through almost 6 brands of skis (ignoring the Vogul reps comments) explaining the wood, foam components of skis and why the wide bodies work well without going up high on your edges. He also insured us to try these skis 3-4 times and if not happy, bring em back for full store credit. I also learned Sports Authority does not carry Head or Dnynastar as they only sell speciality ski shops whom want to fit the right skis for thier customers, like CSG. Wow, impressive professional service, product knowledge, and you had the feeling of "we want to insure the product matches you" or don't buy them. I will be giving CSG more business- read more

Dedicated Ski & Golf customer, sadly disappointed by the bait and switch scam. We hit the Labor Day weekend ski sales on Sunday, even drove to two Ski and Golf locations. At the Littleton store, my husband found an Arbor Element snowboard for a great price, he thought about it all night so we returned on Monday (this is a 2 1/2 drive down from the mountain for us). He went back to the Board area, located the board still marked at $279. A Sales associate removed the sale tag and wrote up a slip so he could get credit for the commission (even though he did nothing to sell the board) only he wrote it up for $399. When questioned, the associate indicated they had the tag on the wrong board, even though it said 'Arbor Element' on the tag and on the board. Sadly we walked away without a purchase and will be returning the bindings we purchased on Sunday. I hope they realize they are not the only gear provider; we went to their competition, Christy Sports and bought a homegrown Never Summer board instead. I'm in the market for new skis - guess where I won't be buying those. read more

When we arrived to the store Forrest immediately helped us and showed us how to check in. He took very good care of us while we were there and we are very pleased with the service. This store is totally understaffed though the staff that I did speak with while I was on hold multiple times were pleasant. I never reached anyone to answer my questions. I called to find out what the store had for demo skis before I took 2 hours of my time to drive there and back. I was initially put on hold for 7 minutes, then someone picked up the line but she thought it was another call and had to put me back on hold. I was on hold again for 3 minutes and then someone from ski sales picked up who then had to put me back on hold since I was looking for rentals. I was then on hold for another 5 minutes and then was auto-transferred to their voice mail system general mailbox which then had a system error and sent me back to a company directory which then sent me to a voice mailbox for suppliers. What a fiasco and waste of my valuable time. Not only did they lose $150 in rentals, I was looking to buy a new pair of ski pants, jacket, and hat when I came into the store. I am also looking for a new pair of skis which is why I wanted to rent the demos. Guess I'll take my business to a store that values customer service. , Carolyn B read more

Great customer service. This is my first season snowboarding and I got fitted for boots over their Labor Day sale. After riding on them a handful of times my feet were inflamed...turns out the boots were too small. I brought them in and saw their boot / foot specialist - Cliff. He was immensely helpful, re-shaped my boots and didn't charge me anything. read more
