I don't know what it is about Wings n Things... but I seriously love the food here.! This is another place I've been going to since high school and when I moved away from San Diego for a few years the only food I missed was obviously In n Out... but also Wings n Things. The mild is definitely my favorite because the flavor is unbeatable and the ranch is a must have... ahhh yes... perfect ranch!! I will say I was definitely not too happy about them raising their prices on everything. It kind of annoyed me when I found out about it because I used to get the boneless strips. They used to come with 5 but now come with 4 and the 4 is more expensive than when they used to be when they were 5 :( Anyways, you can call ahead and order if you know you're going to get it to go and don't want to wait but I always forget and come here on a whim :) Just make sure you eat the wings with the ranch and eat it with a bite of the bread stick. Everything is good but the wait time is ridiculous. Service was good, but I waited like 25 minutes for food for two people

I don't know how it's actually possible, but they managed to take 45 minutes to make 4 strips on Sunday. I called ahead and they said 15-20 minutes. Once I got there (20 minutes from when I called) they said it was almost ready. There were several other people in there, none of whom were eating, all waiting for food. I had to wait another 25 minutes for my order to be ready. I'm pretty sure I could have brought a live chicken in with me and had it turned into strips in less than that amount of time. None of them care, they all have horrible customer service skills and I think I've finally had enough. Every time it takes double the amount of time they tell me, and several times I've sat there and waited forever just to have cold wings. Other stores are better, but this one sucks read more

I absolutely love this place! Their wings and breadsticks are delicious, yes the wait time is kinda long sometimes because they're always busy but in my opinion I'd rather wait and get what I paid for then get my food quickly but poorly cooked. Estela was a horrible cashier with me and about 4 other friends that went in on a monday after noon which was not busy. she gave me multiple glares and nasty looks when I tried to correct my order that she had gotten wrong. She didn't ask me if I wanted ranch or blue cheese and just assumed I wanted ranch. She also wanted to charge not just me but one of my friends a double meal when we clearly asked for a single, she then rolled her eyes when I corrected her about it and shoved my change in my hand. love the food here but something must be done about Estela. read more

Every time I go to this location it gets worse and worse. The last visit continued the trend. Floor and tables are completely filthy and sticky. Trash is overflowing and smelly. Soda machine drinks are never mixed properly. I really love Wings and Things, but I will not be returning to this location. As usual, the chicken was extremely overcooked and tough. Employees are inconsiderate and lame. The worst part though, I think they don't change out their cooking oils the entire day, which would make sense since they don't do anything else upkeep wise. Needless to say I got sick 2 hours after eating there and spent the rest of the night on the toilet. Funny thing is that happened last time too, but I just had to make sure it was because of them. read more

Estella had the worst customer service. They messed up my co-workers order twice. My co-worker ordered hot tenders and we were given mild chicken wings. When we brought it back she said "too bad I won't replace it, but here is hot flavor to put over the mid flavor." When asked to speak to a Supervisor she refused to give his name and states he never comes to work and we could not speak to him. Never going back. read more

I will never understand why people expect so much from a fast food joint. If you want excellent service go to a sit down restaurant. In my opinion wings n things makes the best wings in San Diego. The Escondido location doesn't have the best decor but they do make the best bread sticks. The people who work there are really nice, especially the young chick with the long hair. I came and bought food. Service was ok. The small little detail I didn't appreciate was when I was paying. I gave the cashier X amount of money and I had about 4 cents of change and she just gave me my receipt and said your order will be ready soon and didn't even offer me my change. It wasn't much but it was just the simple fact that she just assumed I didn't want it or need it because it was only 4 cents that I didn't appreciate. If you want the great quality go to Carmel Mountain or the SDSU location. This location, they serve strips that are crunchy and obviously reheated. They are not fresh at all which is ridiculous when they make you wait forever and a day. read more

I really think it's bullshit when places don't make food as fresh closer to their closing time. My bread was not fresh. The chicken tasted like rubber and my zucchini sticks looked like it was the ass end I peoples left overs. That's not the only thing wrong with this place. Like everyone else said there is no parking, customer service sucks, and you have to wait forever for your food. There's probably a better location then this one but I still wouldn't recommend it. This review is strictly for takeout on their chicken strips. My husband and I love buffalo chicken strips and this has recently become one of our go to places when we're craving some buffalo chicken. The mild is great (hubbie prefers hot) and the bread sticks are similar to pat & oscars. The restaurant itself is a little dingy but the food is great and always hits the craving. read more

I'm not much of a wings person but i love Chicken strips and breadsticks and this place makes it taste bomb!! I only come here once in awhile since I live across town but I got to say lately this place been improving its weaknesses that it had from the past which is great. Getting more clean. Waiting is less than before but definitely worth the wait for fresh made food! The Girls are GREAT with customer service! With its improvements I am going to come more often!!
