I can't give any greater praise for these guys. We have had four people out to address our dryer vent which has prevented our dryer from drying our clothes. The first two charged us without really fixing the problem or suggesting an alternative. George came out and initially told us he wouldn't charge us for the basic cleaning because he knew our dryer had greater issues beyond a basic cleaning. So he came back three days later and addressed the entire issue resulting in a clean dryer. However, that still didn't fix our problem. We called GE to service the problem and George offered to show up at the same time to ensure that the GE technician actually worked to resolve the issue. Previously, GE had arrived looked at our dryer for five minutes and then told us it was the vent. With George present, GE was forced to really look at the issue and we were able to learn that the dryer was properly venting, but needed a new gas valve. George didn't charge us for the extra appointment. If I have any other problems with my dryer or vents, ER Air will be the only company I call. read more

They did great work. I called several companies as apparently this is a very competitive business and there are a lot of options out there. I found the owner and the workers to be very professional and detailed. We recently did construction on our house and thought we should get our ducts clean. I am SO glad we did because the workers showed me our ducts before and after and WOW they were dirty. Our house was built in the 30's and might have never been cleaned or at least not done properly. The dust was fluffy it was so bad! Every since we cleaned our ducts our heat is so much better! Also they cleaned all the parts in the furnace that nobody else would touch. I would absolutely use them again. The only negative or suggestions I would make are that did not they offer to replace filters and I wish the prices were a little lower. Our dryer was taking forever to dry our stuff! These guys came in and cleaned out the vents, voila! It's working again. Even better than just fixing we have odd hours we needed the service to be done and he worked with us to meet our needs. I truly hate contractors with a passion. They either are unprofessional, rude or never on time. I've always try to have another person on our team deal with contractors because I cannot stomach the disrespect. ER Air set the standard very high for many contractors in Chicago. My company manages numerous condo association in the City of Chicago and one building was due to have their dryer vents cleaned for the first time. Instead of me checking Google I checked Yelp for dryer vent cleaning. Numerous companies came up and the lazy person that I am, I contacted 20 companies at the same time explaining the service I was looking for. I  received a instant response from ER Air. George the Manager/Owner was very professional customer service savvy and just pleasant to communicate with. I was able to set up a time to have him and his team to come out to two of our buildings to submit proposals. Please keep in mind that I have also contacted a different dryer vent company to the properties that needed cleaning. What stood out about ER Air cleaning was that they came prepared, right on time, professional and they knew their product. A few weeks past and I choose to go with ER Air to do the cleaning. And boy do I tell ya that these guys are thorough! They showed up right on time on Saturday, September 10th ready to work. Some owners were not available to have their vents cleaned on that day and ER was able to reschedule those individual units. We bought an older house recently and soon realized the ducts were in dire need of cleaning. ER quoted us a very fair price and even gave us a better deal when we mentioned that we would call them back after we received a few more estimates. I recently moved in to my condo. My dryer was taking 1.5 hours to dry one load. George & Saul were amazing! The previous owners had a dog and the ducts were full of lint and fur. They cleaned out the ducts and even found the duct wasn't completely connected to the roof. They fixed the duct and cleaned everything from the roof down. They were amazing and I would highly recommend ER Air Duct. Also, George & Saul were extremely friendly and explained everything they did. All the previous praise and accolades for E. R. Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning are certainly deserving! Our tenant's dryer was shutting off after 20 seconds. Called the appliance service company, they check it out and said that the dryer vent was clogged...GREAT...so where do I find someone quickly who is reasonably priced and can come out ASAP (meaning today or tomorrow) to clean out the vent? Yelp is my go to place to find reputable service people and E.R. AIR immediately caught my eye seeing all five star ratings. I called them and George called me back within an hour. Our dryer vent was getting clogged on top of our house. The guys at ER came over and did a fantastic job. Not only did they clean the vent, they replaced the top cap with one that we bought from Menards. The old one, we had removed and replaced by them, was not venting properly. The new cap should do the trick. However, the guys said they would keep a look out for a cap that is even more venting. These guys did not have to do any of this. There job was to just clean the vent. They went above and beyond by installing a new cap and being on the look out for a cap that vents more. They are phenomenal and do great work. We had ER Air come clean our ducts after we moved into our new condo. George and his guys were awesome - very respectful of our brand new floors and did a great job. They also gave me a very informative 101 about our furnace. George showed me how to replace a leaky gas cap (something our inspection report recommended) and even helped me fit in a new humidifier pad into the humidifier. They also made an extra special effort to clean out the dryer vent - which actual required George to partially climb out of our 3rd story window! All of this included in the price to clean the ducts!
