Chips good quality. November smokey flavor on the BBQ.

I like this franchise of sandwich places. I am however not a fan of this new location. The location is not fully functional and is tiny. The building is still under construction and the staff made me slightly confused. I would order "wheat" bread and the guy taking my order made me repeat myself 3 times and laughed in my face. A little awkward to say the least. Three stars only because their food is always really good and the sandwiches are huge. I got the Titan sandwich and BBQ chips. Both were really tasty for the cost.

    The Tappy

I ordered a sandwich and what I got was a joke...see picture attached...it was suppose to be a Tappy...I ordered it w no tomato and light lettuce...literally one slice of meat, one slice of cheese, 3 bits of onion...very disappointing

Don't really understand this place . Subway Quality, except higher priced and sandwiches are less filling.

Super friendly staff. I ended up ordering the tacheen, my only other experience eating this was when a friend cooked it for me so I was interested to try it in a restaurant. The rice was nice and crispy, well seasoned, and also they added barberries which was a nice touch. Chicken was great as well. Totally recommend this place!

A Hidden Gem in Wisconsin!…read more It's rare to find Persian food in Wisconsin, and Sofreh absolutely delivers. I ordered the chicken kabob plate, chickpea salad, and beef koobideh and I'm still dreaming about it. The joojeh kabob was the star: unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I honestly haven't had chicken that fresh and succulent in a long time. Every bite felt like comfort and celebration all at once. The chickpea salad was light, bright, and refreshing; a perfect complement to the grilled meats. And the beef koobideh? Perfectly spiced, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth good. My heart was so happy and my tummy so full -- exactly what you want from a great meal. Whether you're familiar with Persian cuisine or brand new to it, Sofreh is worth the visit. Warm flavors, generous portions, and a rare find in this part of the country. Service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

He was…read morestill a bit in the learning phase, but his demeanor and attitude made up for any minor lapses in service. We started out with me ordering my standard martini order, which is slightly complicated, and he delivered wonderfully...it just took a few minutes, but apparently he was responsible for tracking down the martini glasses (hint: they are in the refrigerator). At any rate, we got our drinks and ordered our food. When the food came out I took one bite and discovered my Turkey Reuben was a Corned Beef one instead. He took it back to the kitchen and they were correcting the order and he told us we would not be charged for that, which was a nice accomodation. What he meant was we would not be charged for 2-the right one and the wrong one. Hmmm, when we asked about it, he went to the manager and they comped us $5 off the bill. That works fine for me for the short wait. The correct sandwich was heaped full and very tasty. My wife got the Turkey Pita, which was also pretty tasty and chocked full of ooey-gooey delicious Tzatziki sauce, turkey, and other fixins. The building is interesting, as it seems like 2 bar/restaurants that decided to connect to each other. There are 2 full bars (only one in use the night we were there), and two dining areas; one by each bar. Overall, I'd go again. Food was solid and prices very reasonable.

Nothing too crazy, but it's definitely got a kick to it, and…read moreyou'll be glad that the gumbo comes with little oyster crackers to sprinkle over the gumbo to cut the heat a bit. You'll also want to get the cheese curds, because when in Wisconsin, you get the cheese curds. These curds are crispy yet chewy, and come with ranch dressing. Nicky's specializes in sandwiches, so they have a lot of them on the menu. I got one of their more popular sandwiches -- the Nicky's Thick Cuban. It is indeed thick! Layers of pork and ham, Swiss cheese and pickles. I split it with another person. Half of a Nicky's Thick Cuban plus fries is enough for one person's lunch. That, and a cup of gumbo, and you've got yourself a splendid meal. We visited on a Friday, so one of the people in my party ordered the Fish Fry. I tasted a bite of the crispy fish and it was delicious. The fish fry comes with fries or potato salad, plus a slice of rye bread, butter and slices of raw onion. I didn't know this, but you eat the fish with the bread and butter and onion like a little taco! It's what you do in this part of Wisconsin. Nicky's has a huge bar (two of them, in fact), with every type of drink you can think of. This is a popular restaurant with students at St. Norbert College, as it's right across the street, basically.

As soon as we…read morewalked into this small restaurant, I knew I had been there before when it was something else! It is, as I already mentioned - small (about a half dozen tables for two). I'm guessing it is good (better) for takeout but we arrived just after 1:30 on a Thursday and had no problem getting a table. It is light, bright, and cheery inside. The two young women working behind the counter were very pleasant and patiently explained the options to us and all the customers who came in after us. There are about a half dozen "suggested" bowls but you can create your own or make changes to the ones in the menu. I ordered the Berbere Spiced Sweet Potato with almost all the colors of the rainbow represented - spiced sweet potatoes, radishes, carrots, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, dried cranberries, and green apples (I think I remembered everything). There is an option for an upcharge to add a protein but the vegetarian option was uncooked tofu and I only eat tofu that is well-seasoned and cooked so I passed. Hubby had the Lemon Herb Rotisserie bowl which he liked. Both were very filling and we couldn't finish them. Drinks range from Diet Coke to cold pressed juices. Great option for downtown Green Bay. Four stars because the (one) vegetarian protein option was not to my liking.
