For my taste the variety and quality is not as good here as other sandwich chains. I guess I just like to pick my veggies.

Way better than subway! Delicious sandwiches, fun atmosphere and fast too. Recommend either the Narmer or the Flash with sprouts

Order was wrong. Soup was ice cold and took delivery twice the time the qouted. Driver didn't even follow directions for what door to use.

Found this place on Yelp. We usually stop off for lunch around Eau Claire so was happy to see a…read morehealthy option. This little coffee shop is located inside a clinic. The food is delicious and we look forward to making this our new stop off while traveling north. Also, when leaving the restaurant you can go over the bridge and get gas at Woodmans-cheap. My husband kept raving about his Asian chicken salad. I ordered a cup of lentil soup which was more of a bowl for me and it was flavorful. I had tabouli which was not what I was expecting. I was expecting more of a grain mixture with herbs but what I got was basically a bowl of chipped parsley sprinkled with a grain. But, it was tasty. I don't know if I would order again unless I was really cutting calories...lol. I took a dessert to go. It was a custard/coconut type and I loved it! They advertised hand pressed lemonade on their specials board but when I went to order I was told that they didn't have any. Also, on the menu when I ordered my tabouli, on the menu it stated it came with flat bread. I went back to the counter to inquire about the flatbread I was told no, it doesn't come with the tabouli. I pointed it out on the menu and she proceeded to cross it off telling me it shouldn't be there. These two little things that happened were a turn off but not enough to stop me from going back. But if there are more of these types of bad customer service happenings I will exit and not return.

Really tasty food and good portions didn't slack on protein either.. coffee was unique and loved…read morethe lavender cookie

There's even a well curated vintage store next to it But the is crispy pork belly appetizer. It will be super next level if it is served with fluffy hot white rice and maybe Korean soy radish pickle

Cool place, but I have share my disappointment…read more First of all BEWARE of the automatic 18% Tip! The amount didn't bother me, in fact I always tip more than that! it's that no one told me it was there! I'm sure it's on the menu, but the writing is so small on their menus that I really couldn't read the meal description, much less the add tips message that might have been on there somewhere! But either way, I do think the staff should share this information when you get the bill. I've read other Yelpers that didn't see this and unknowingly added an extra 20%. Second, it's very loud in this restaurant, at least at the bar where I ate. A number of large tables are located in the bar area and with the wood floor and high ceilings it amplifying the normal discussions. it was really hard to hear or understand the bartender. (It might be better in the actual dining room). Didn't feel like drinking tonight, so I had an iced tea. Have to say this is one of the few places that I know of that charges for tea refills! (Once again not shared) Nobody (staff) that worked here had a smile in their face. Everybody seemed to be walking around with blank expressions. Sitting at the bar I got to see most everyone that worked there and no one looked like they wanted to be there. My bartender did check in with me to see if I enjoyed the first few bites of my app and then my meal and then again when she gave me the bill. Lastly, the food was not great. The Frites (fries) appetizer was way overdone. The fries were very crunchy and maybe would have been tasty if they were not so crispy. And at $13 they were way over priced. Definitely not worth it. My Merlot Beef was also sub par. The picture on the website shows a nicely presented pasta dish, (in fact I had it picked out before I came). but what I was served was more of a beef stroganoff swimming in a brown gravy-like sauce. . The meat was also overdone, lacking flavor and chewy. This meal should have been served with a spoon, not a fork! Please bring back the chef that made the meal in the picture on your website... that looked a lot better!! I came here on a recommendation from a local, but this was a major let down! Maybe a bad night? Maybe I made bad meal choices, because on the website menu everything looked very good. I did see a lot of people eating flatbread pizzas. That might be your best bet.

TLDR: creative cocktail and good menu with a Wisconsin twist…read more I brought my group of 8 family and friends here and everyone loved what they ordered! The menu features a lot of local Wisconsin produce and Wisconsin favorites with a twist, like Baked Cheese Curds (the tomato jam is SO GOOD) and Portobello Poppers with a wild rice and cheddar filling (it was so tasty I couldn't believe it was vegetarian!). Everyone really liked the Chicken Fried Rabbit (obviously, not our veg friend lol). The buttermilk-brined rabbit leg was so juicy and tender. The red cabbage slaw on the side was a perfect pairing. The Candied Pork Belly just melted in my mouth, no joke! And I love that it was seasoned with hoisin sauce and came with some baba ghanoush, which you'd think wouldn't go together--but it so does. For my main, I had the Grilled Ribeye and my bf had the Roasted Lamb. Both were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and both were phenomenal! The chimichurri on the side had some sweet kick to it but the steak didn't even need it bc it was plenty flavorful and tasty. The lamb was so tender and the mint gelee was *chef's kiss*. The Great Lakes Walleye was served on a nice tomato confit brodo and my bf's parents absolutely loved how imaginative it was. We all thought it'd just come out with a side of potatoes or something but the presentation blew us away AND they said it was very lovely. The kids loved their How 'Bout Them Apples pizza, which wouldn't have been my first choice (apples on pizza?!) but it did look tasty! For drinks, I ordered the Seamus (which is basically an old fashioned with Irish whiskey) and my partner ordered the Watermelon Mojito. I couldn't believe he liked the Seamus bc he usually hates old fashioneds but tbf it was a very well balanced cocktail! His Watermelon Mojito was refreshing and yummy (but a little too sweet for me). My bf and our friend both loved it tho! We'll definitely be back again the next time we pass thru Eau Claire!!

I think we had approximately 20 people and a couple joined last minute. I know this is not ideal for servers, but it worked out well and again, we so appreciate it! The Informalist was super convenient since many of us were staying at the Lismore Hotel. Since this restaurant is located in the lobby, it was just super easy and the menu has something for everyone. We ordered from both the pizza and regular dinner menu and many of us shared a bit of everything! The truffle fries may have been the biggest hit of all, so don't miss out on those! Pizza is fabulous too. We saw elote fries, a burger, caesar salad, steak and so many other things at our table. My favorite pizza was the Yellow Jacket, which includes red sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, pepperoni, and spicy honey. My least favorite item was the salmon crudo, but the salmon entree was not bad. Ambiance is hip and trendy and feels a bit fancy, but we were all dressed casually. Interesting due to the name of the restaurant, but it works! If back in the area, I'd absolutely return. Enjoy!
