Washington St location. 6/10/24, about 2pm. Customer service was beyond bad. Very rude and sarcastic. This was an older guy, who very clearly was not happy to be waiting on any customers. Younger employee who had to finish waiting on us was apologetic and helpful. I felt bad for the nice employee who had to work with this older guy. Ordering online for carry-out was easy and the sandwich was a delight to have for an outdoor picnic on the city deck. I really love the pesto mayo it just jazzed up a boring old turkey sandwich into something special with those sundried tomatoes. Diet coke was good and the chips okay. My son and several of his hockey teammates went there for lunch today while in town for their National Hockey Championship. Excellent service and food! Ordered a couple of subs for pickup at the GB Washington Street location. My sub came with one slice of meat (on the entire sub), tomato, and a giant gob of mayo. It was supposed to be decked with bacon onions, etc. and NO mayo. Normally, this wouldn't be much other than disappointing. However, when I called to ask for a replacement, the employee interrupted me and told me they weren't taking orders (it was 7pm--they are open until 9). When I clarified why I was calling, he said he was too busy and hung up. No one was in the shop when we picked the order--not even an employee! They REALLY need better workers or at least a solid manager to watch over the bottom of the barrel people they're hiring now. read more

Great sandwich shop with really well trained people. They have some nice basic sandwiches all the way up to complex. I get the simple Turkey / lettuce / tomato act on wheat. Very good value. I would definitely go here over the other chain stores for sure. read more

I got Titan combo . The guy that took my order he wore a mask because of this pandemic. His mask wasn't properly worn correctly it didn't cover his nose etc. My sandwich was soggy to much meat, I'm just disgusted about this place you all need to train your employees more, properly how to serve customers. this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in an erberts and gerberts, which is my favorite sub sandwich restaurant. My boyfriend and I waited for 10 minutes and no one came to the counter. I was never a fan till my options ran out downtown for lunch choices. This place is so fast and gets my order right everyone. I get the half sandwich and soup and it's just the right amount for lunch. I feel though a 3 inch sandwich with turkey, lettuce and cheese with cup of soup for $9 (no soda) is a bit overpriced but I guess it's downtown so price shouldn't matter. read more

We ordered a Spartan and a Girf last night at 9 pm..the delivery was speedy, but the Spartan was oozing sauce to the point my sub was disgustinly soggy. When the order was half an hour late, I called to make sure it wasn't inadvertently delivered to the wrong address - that happens. They said that they were "just a little behind" and that the driver had just left with our food. When the food was an hour late, I called again. Wow!!! Was in this sandwich shop yesterday... What a disappointment . Should have left after so many Red flags!!! Messy dining room, the attendant popped his head out and said I will be with you in a moment...10-12 minutes later we placed our orders... He was messy looking!!! Un kept. We ordered combos!! We received our cups only to discover no lids.. Asked for lids he stopped making the sandwiches, bent over and pulled out lids from underneath the counter did not bother to change his gloves.. before or after!!! GROSS!! He was complaining the entire time his mask was not fitting properly and did not cover his nose at all!! Then he stated to us that another customer actually complained to him to cover his nose!! He was frustrated and angry about that customers request and stated to us I was making her sandwich how did she expect me to fix my mask!!! The other disturbing things were he had on long sleeves that seemed to be dragging in the sandwich.. The sandwich had so much meat on it that it was difficult to chew!!! He was just not what I had envisioned for my evening meal and did a great disservice to this sandwich shop.. I have eaten at this shop plenty of times when I worked right upstairs from this location and thoroughly enjoyed my food and visits... So you can imagine my disappointment from this experience!!! This is one of my favorite sub sandwich restaurants. I always like getting their signature subs as it has more stuff in them. My favorites are the Pompeii, Apollo, and Erupter. You always need to get a cup of soup or chili to dip the guts in (bread that is cut out from the middle of the sandwich). Ordered the Cally sandwich, which featured avocado, chili sauce , provolone and cucumbers. The sandwich contained NO avocado. I had overheard one of the staff behind the counter asking another one if there was avocado available, so apparently there wasn't. Apparently a few other things were't available, either: honesty, manners or commom sense. It would have been awfully nice to get a choice of something else, or to have a chance to order a different sandwich. The music is so loud I could not hear myself think. Also I walked in and stood there and no one was around to help me. Very strange. I walked out. Previous to that visit, I found the soups overheated and overcooked and the sandwiches were mostly bread and very lean on the ingredients. We ordered delivery and we were impressed by the speed that it got here by. When it got here we were not impressed at the quality at all. The sandwiches were sloppily made, and sauces and toppings were gushing out of the sides. I hope this was just a bad night for the crew and will most likely give them one more try. read more

This is a generic sub shop, although this location is probably on the nicer end. They have two clearly marked entrances: one from the street and one from the foyer of the building they're situated in. It's always a toss up if that side door will be locked or unlocked. It's entirely random and some days it'll be pouring rain or below zero and you'll have to walk outside the building and back in because the staff doesn't know how to unlock their doors. This time I hobbled up to the establishment because my foot is in a boot due to a broken foot, and the side door was locked. No problem, googled and found the local 920 number for this location and called. I told the guy I had a broken foot and asked for him to come unlock the side door. He seemed confused so I explained it again. He said "Uh, OK." and hung up. I thought he was immediately coming to open the door, but several minutes passed with nothing. Eventually someone opened the door after I pounded on it. From only 2 people there I'm assuming the call went to some call center, not inside, despite my calling a 920 number. It also appears erberts and gerberts response to someone making a disability type request is to just hang up on them. Keep that in mind about the business. read more

Was at the Waube lane location Thursday nov.2nd at approx. 4:00pm. The manager at this location is most definitely lacking customer service skills. She was just short of rude,was interrupted by an obviously personal phone call(which was not really the problem)and was completely unprofessional,rude,and hostile to her employees. The look on that poor young girls face was really upsetting.We were embarrassed for her! Please offer your manager (no name tag) some professional training,(manners and common curtesy would be a start) as she certainly needs it! read more

Not only did we NOT receive our food but our account was charged for the food. Tried calling multiple times with no answer. Messaged on Facebook and the message was read about 10 mins after I sent it with no response. If I don't hear anything from them today I will be going down there today to speak with a manager. If the manager does not do anything, I will be going to the head of the franchise to complain.
