    Teriyaki chicken hot plate
    Hannah M.

One branch of the famously expensive LA based Erewhon. Not as busy or overwhelming as other locations I've been to, but still pretty packed at the hot food bar. Prices aren't actually as outrageous as people make them out to be (for the most part, at least) and you can get some fun affordable finds in the snack and drink sections. I picked up a bag of gluten free pretzels for around $3.50 that I really enjoyed, for example. The hot food is expensive, but not insane. Most plates are around $26-32 and you get a protein and two sides. I opted for the teriyaki chicken with gluten free Mac and cheese and the buffalo cauliflower. The sides were both exceptional but the chicken was just okay; it was a little dry and the skin on the dark meat was very chewy and borderline inedible. It was a decent amount of protein, however. I haven't tried the smoothies but the juices and wellness shots are all great. I'd especially recommend the ginger & orange wellness shot. It's a clean and well-organized store with plenty of seating if you want to eat there. Overall would return despite high prices on certain items and a few disappointments.

I guess I'm on a mission to see all the stores. This was my least favourite. Parking was chaotic, and the staff, w the exception of Milo wasn't as attentive as I've become accustomed to. We went during lunch time so I'm aware that was part of the parking lot fullness, but the staff had this almost apathetic attitude. I saw a piece of pizza I hadn't seen and wanted to try. A couple employees were having a convo at the counter. I just waited to see how long they were going to stand there. Longer than you'd expect. I mentioned Milo earlier. Rockstar in the cafe, gave us samples, answered questions about things I didn't see. I was told to try the battered portobellos. I guess they didn't have them that day but I appreciated that Milo checked. That was the most pleasant experience and Milo's customer service was aligned with what I've come to expect. Checkout was lacklustre. This is the first store I've been at that had a conveyor belt. I went through twice. The first person seemed like he didn't want to be there. The second I asked about the new membership tiers and she wasn't sure then she was surprised at my level. I got clarification around the program from someone at my store, and she showed me where vip line is. It just wasn't a vibe I've been used to over any of the stores I've been to. Maybe it's calabasas, idk. I can say I went. 8 down, 3 to go. Ya, Erewhon is probably my personality atp. Ah well, there's worse things!

    So many waters.

Erewhon, the Disneyland of healthy wonderful options. Great service and great selection. Grab a quick bite or fill your grocery cart. The smoothies are a yummy healthy indulgence. Go ahead and treat yourself. Lots of healthy pre-made meals, when you are doing your best to be healthy but craving indulgence. The vitamin supplements section is pure adventure but with helpful knowledgeable guides. Discover products you can't find another place. Eco friendly. Why are you still reading??? Go and discover for yourself.

Erewhon is the same everywhere. Great quality food in one place. I'm a big fan of their hot food bar, the salad bar and the coffee bar. Everything tastes heavenly. They use clean, organic ingredient with no seed oils. The salads are so fresh and flavorful and addicting. I recently tried their grilled mango salad, so delicious. The store is always well organized, everything is picked for having top quality. The skin care and vitamin isle is amazing as well. There is always someone ready to help you. I have bought a few cleansers per their recommendations and loved it. This location has spacious parking and outdoor seating. Customer service is friendly.

I went back and got the Hailey Bieber smoothie and it was actually really good. I too felt like marrying a tattooed druggy while I was drinking it. And it's actually pretty healthy too- non- dairy!

First time trying Erewhon! Obviously came to try the smoothies: strawberry glaze smoothie $20 golden hr smoothie jasmine tookes $22 Both drinks had a bit of a weird after taste. Wanted to try with the social media craze. Of course over priced. Wouldn't really order again based on flavor/taste. Hit or miss with the specialty drinks. Relatively easy to find parking here.

Every time I'm in Calabasas, I'm not just passing through... I'm living there for like a week. And let me tell you, trying to eat with my friends is a full personality test.Half of them are intermittent fasting, drinking air and vibes... and the other half? Oh, we're outside. We're indulging. So somehow we always end up at Erewhon trying to make everybody happy. This place is like the United Nations of healthy decisions and "just one treat won't hurt." You can come in for a green juice and walk out with pizza, a $20 smoothie, and emotional support snacks. Balance. And can we talk about the water section? Because why are there so many options?? I don't even know what half of them do, but I'm standing there like, "Yes... this one feels like it hydrates my soul." Because listen, if I'm eating pizza, I will be pairing it with some fancy water so I can feel like I made a good life choice. Now let's be real... part of the experience here is the people watching. It's Calabasas. You already know. You're gonna see somebody. And I mind my business -- I'm not a monster, I let people live their lives -- but in my head? I'm absolutely checking names off a mental list like it's bingo night. It's chaotic. It's bougie. It's a little confusing. But somehow... it works.Erewhon is that place where you go in for a snack and leave with a story. And honestly? That's why I keep coming back.

Me and my friend decided to treat ourselves to the Hailey Bieber and Jhené Aiko smoothies... because nothing says self-care like a $20 smoothie Was it expensive? Yes. Did we still buy it? Also yes. This location is way more crowded than The Grove and Studio City. Parking felt like a competitive sport. I aged at least 3 years trying to find a spot. Once inside, it was packed -- and I swear I felt slightly intimidated like everyone already knew what they were doing and we were just there holding our $20 smoothies trying to act natural LOL. That being said... the smoothies were actually really good. Creamy, refreshing, and made me feel like I had my life together for a solid 15 minutes. Would I come back? Probably. Would I mentally prepare first? Absolutely.

Erewhon is definitely a luxury grocery experience, but the quality truly shows. Everything is clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully curated. I have a membership, which makes shopping here even more worth it, especially with the member perks and savings over time. The hot bar and prepared foods are consistently fresh and flavorful, with plenty of healthy options that don't feel boring or bland. Their smoothies are excellent (yes, pricey, but very well made), and the ingredient quality is top tier. The staff has always been helpful and professional whenever I've visited, and the overall vibe is calm and upscale. I also appreciate the wide selection of organic produce, supplements, and specialty items you don't usually find at regular grocery stores. Is it expensive? Absolutely. But if you're looking for high-quality food, clean ingredients, and a premium shopping experience--especially if you have a membership--Erewhon delivers. You get discount on the hot bar and the grocery store. It's a great spot for health-focused meals, post-workout food, or just treating yourself once in a while. Highly recommend if quality matters to you.

So I was curious having heard so much about this place previously, and thought I would give it a look. This is basically a hyper-expensive specialty grocery store with a huge prepared food section. The did have a great selection of local beers. I toyed with getting something from the prepared food section but could not get past the small, pre-made $18 roast beef sandwich The staff was oddly detached and flat affects seemed to be the norm. Just not my kind of place I guess. I did score the aforementioned local beers and was on my way

Now THIS is luxury. Food is art here. Wow. Just... wow. Grocery stores are ruined for me forever. I'd heard of the $20 Hailey Bieber smoothie and Kardashians and whoever else in Hollywood talk about Erewhon. Visiting LA, I had to see it for myself. I feel spoiled, nobody should get to shop here. The way the produce is stocked so methodically is stunning. The cut vegetables perfectly arranged in packages, not one kiwi or mushroom out of place. Makes you wonder how much extra time it takes to stock the shelves here. They have all of the health food things you could want. From whatever sea moss is to spirulina to micro greens to natural wines and keto-friendly chips. Interesting brands, packaging, and graphic design abound. The prepared foods looked awesome, there were lots of people in line to just get some dinner here. We took a slice of coconut cake home and it was the best coconut cake I've ever had. I got a $20 smoothie. When in Rome. The woman at the counter said her fav was the vanilla matcha. It was great. No clue what was really in it. Hoping it was healthier than it tasted. It's Whole Foods on steroids or ketamine or sea moss or something.

Just wanted to send a quick note about Benny, the store manager at Erewhon in Calabasas. Our travel AYSO team came down from Northern California for the finals for our community volunteer sponsored soccer organization, and we stopped by to grab drinks for the kids. Benny helped make sure everything was ready right on time, which honestly made a big difference with a bunch of tired players and parents trying to keep things moving between games. What stood out was how easy and positive the whole interaction was. Benny clearly runs a tight ship and the people working there reflect that. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and on top of things. Benny even stepped in to improve the throughput for all smoothies. When someone treats their job like they own the place, that's special. That's shareholder / owner behavior, not staff behavior. It starts with values, with leading and being consistent in following those values. The outcome is culture, and that creates true scale of the vision and every team member adopting the culture. This is actually the first time I've experienced this level of service at a grocery store, so I figured it was worth mentioning. If Benny hired these folks, he's doing something right. Anyway, just wanted it to be known that if you stop by that location, you'll be taken care of. And for what it's worth, I don't usually send notes like this.

My parents like to go here when they visit my little brother at college, so they wanted to go while I was there visiting. Obviously, I've seen this all over social media, so I was excited to get to try it!! The first time we went I got the ham and egg croissant sandwich. The woman behind me was pretty upset that I got the last one cause she was there specifically for that. It was incredible. The ham had such good flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Amazing!!!! I also tried the social media famous Hailey Bieber strawberry glaze skin smoothie. I had previously rolled my eyes at the idea of a $20 smoothie, but it was actually soooo delicious and filled with really quality ingredients. My husband really liked their drip coffee. We went back the next day, and I tried the avocado tartine and the new Kris Jenner you're doing amazing smoothie. Both were good. Bonus points for the name on the Kris Jenner smoothie. Sooo funny!! Overall, this place is really expensive and not something I'd get all the time, but it's a fun stop on vacation. Both Saturday and Sunday morning were pretty busy, but things moved quickly. They have a cute outdoor seating area that was a nice place to enjoy our food. I can't wait to go back!

Been here a few times now and it's been great other than the usual stares I've grown up with. That doesn't bother me. What bothered me today was the first time purchase of just a couple steaks from the butcher. One dry aged and one tbone. The dry aged was fine. My issue is the tbone. What I saw in the butcher display showed the usual two cuts on the bone. Going home I found that the Filet part was cut and missing. If that's the case I would have just gotten a NY strip.
