I visit this location at least once per week and Erewhon is one of those places that genuinely makes healthy living feel elevated. From the moment you walk in, the store is beautifully curated, impeccably clean, and has such a calming, luxurious atmosphere. One of my favorite things is the hot bar. I truly appreciate that they don't use seed oils, and I love that every dish is clearly labeled with its ingredients. It makes choosing meals so much easier, especially when you're intentional about what you put into your body. The tonic bar is another favorite. Their smoothies, wellness tonics, and iced drinks are always delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted. Whether I'm stopping in for a quick pick me up or a nourishing meal, everything feels like a treat. What really completes the experience is the staff. They are always helpful. Erewhon has mastered the balance of health, quality, and aesthetics. It's more than just a grocery store it's an experience, and it's one I always look forward to.

Love! It's so spacious!!!! I wasn't that far out and always love checking out a different store. Easiest parking lot yet. I strolled in and was in awe of the layout. There's so much rooom! I wish it wasn't so far. I was excited to try the Barbie smoothie, Edwin was awesome and had opinions on some smoothies. Love a knowledgeable, friendly staff. I placed my order and got in line for the cafe. I could already see things I've never seen before. And when I say line, if you're a regular, you know they can be a lot at times. This was staggered and painless. Leti helped me. That ladies a treasure, give her a raise! We sampled and made things happen. First time having the beef chili, pork ribs and chicken enchiladas! All 3 are worth it!!! Now that I'm saying this I'm recalling they do sell the chili in the soup section. I'm getting some, stat! The ribs - I'm a pit mistress, I live for the bbq flavor and attributes specific to putting your food over hot coals/flavored wood. I also know bbq = carcinogens and things that aren't great, even when using well sourced meats. That being said, the ribs were baked and dressed in Erewhon bbq sauce. So just for the fact that I know theirs are also well sourced and not full of the things that make traditional bbq problematic, I'd repeat them with no convincing. The chicken enchilada was also outta this world. Leti appreciated them too. I looked in produce for the strawberries I found in W. Hollyhood but no joy. William H checked me out. Another rockstar! Customer service here's been unmatched, but I also give high praise to my Pasadena crew, hey Miguel, Sara, Lily and crew! While it wasn't local it's beautiful and you can shop without feeling crowded. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be stopping by.

I've had repeated issues at this specific location with inconsistent kitchen hours. Most recently, I placed an order for a pizza at 8:14 PM, knowing that the hot bar and café are listed as closing at 8:30 PM. Despite ordering in advance and within the posted hours, I was told the kitchen had already stopped taking orders. What's frustrating is that this isn't the first time--it seems to happen consistently at this location, while other locations operate as expected. There appears to be a disconnect between the hours advertised online and what is actually being followed in-store. I've been a regular customer since moving to Los Angeles in 2023 and visit this store multiple times a week, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this inconsistency so customers can rely on the hours that are publicly posted

I had a great first time experience at Erewohn Manhattan Beach! We ordered our smoothies and they came out pretty quick. They individually taste delicious. And yes they are $25 each. Also the food is very tasty. I ordered a combo box with Mac and cheese, tumeric chicken tenders, and buffalo cauliflower. The store is VERY organized, clean, and neat.

Beef slider, a side of Mac n cheese (definitely not the gluten free version) and a salad of some sort. I forgot the name of the salad.

Went back again to Erewhon because I'm a glutton for financial punishment this time we got a couple of different items. Mac n cheese seems to be consistently delicious. I had a chicken salad and some cod. The cod was absolutely delicious as well. My husband had some Korean BBQ short ribs with egg fried rice and green beans, all of which were also very good. We shared eggplant lasagna which I was not too fond of. We also shared some jalapeño cheddar cornbread, again chefs kiss on that savory little loaf of bread. Food has been consistently great. Service is superb.

Good value for quick dinner stop, we wanted something quick but not bad quality and erewhon is that happy middle for restaurant quality with not restaurant prices. However, if you're expecting grocery store prices, then yes it's a bit pricey. The matcha was reasonable at $8. The coconut vanilla ice cream was refreshing and I would get it again as someone who's on a greek yogurt-like kick. However, it was served to me a little melted already, which was a bit disappointing. There's an outside area by the parking lot that's covered so it doesn't seem like you are in a parking lot. There are a bit of flies though. The sushi was great for the value! $40 at a sushi restaurant nowadays gets you less with lesser quality nowadays I find.

Heard there was a local Erewhon that opened up in the area, so I had to catch a visit. Basically, it's a health food conscience grocery store. There's a store greeter at the entrance that says hello to every customer as they walk in. The checkout is on the right hand side and loose fresh fruit and vegetables on the left hand side. What I noticed right away were the fresh nuts packaged in glass mason jars. As I walked through the store, same theme. Many snack items sold in glass mason jars. Milk and eggs sold in refrigerators on the side wall. When I walked to the back of the store, there was a long line of people at the food counter. The premade salads looked really good behind the counter. They sell refrigerated desserts, cakes, and pies that looked pretty tasty. Prices are high compared to other grocery stores. So if you want to pay 3 times or more for groceries, this is the place to shop. There are a handful of tables outside if you feel like enjoying your food or drink there. Parking: Free, shared strip mall.

Food choices were incredible and the presentation at the Hot Bar looked amazing, making me salivate and wanting to try everything! We ended up sharing a meal set, Chef's special trout and a kale salad with slices of apples in an amazing salad dressing and chopped broccoli that was so tasty and I don't really care for broccoli! The staff were efficient and friendly and helpful. There was a long line at the hot food bar and somehow it went real quick, they have a good system! This store is so busy and buzzing with people, one can feel the energy and excitement! The shelves are very well laid out and make it easy to find what you want. Nice ambiance here, made the experience even more enjoyable. A must visit!

Erewhon has a really nice ambiance and a beautifully curated selection, it definitely feels like an elevated grocery experience. Everything looks fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully displayed. That said, the lines at the hot food and café sections were pretty long, and I didn't have enough time to wait before my flight. Prices are definitely on the higher side, which is expected, but still something to keep in mind. I ended up grabbing the store-brand premade strawberry coconut water, and it was honestly delicious, super refreshing and a great quick option on the go. Overall, a great spot if you have the time (and budget) to explore a bit more.

A convenient Erewhon location, pristine inside and pretty busy! We came for the infamous smoothies at $21 each. (A little ridiculous I know, but when in Rome!) Of course everything grocery wise was over priced, but beautifully arranged and ethically offered. Tons of variety in the hot food sections. Would recommend coming for fun, but not going to be a staple in my routine!

Love...this...location. The space feels big, great juice bar. They have the best smoothies and juices of any full on juice spit I've tried. Good quality ingredients, healthy, tasty. Service can be slow, so prepare to order and shop while you wait, but the DO text you when it's ready, which is soooo nice. Plenty of seats outside and inside. Erewhon...you've done it again!

We made a trip up from San Diego to check out Erewhon. We came at about 11am on a Monday. It wasn't too busy when we first arrived but as we were there for a bit it started getting busy. The business is at the back of the store with the hot food/smoothie area. You easily go up to the counter and place your order for the food & they scoop it right there for you. The smoothies you place your order & then wait (that took a bit). The girl calling out names barely would say the names, unless you were standing right in front of her you couldn't hear her- it was odd. Most of the food is priced per pound. They have a huge selection of foods. It all looked good. The prices are kind of funny. The smoothie was $21 but then the whole pizza was only $10 ? The Mac and cheese was $22 a pound- the portion I got was $11. The cucumber salad portion I got was $5. The pork belly, noodles & buffalo cauliflower was $38! The pizza seemed like the most food and was the cheapest pretty much. I loved the pizza, cucumber salad & mac and cheese and for all 3 of those it was only $26 . My daughter got the pork belly box and she ate some of it but she didn't love it, she wouldn't order it again. Everything I got I would def get again. The smoothie was fun to try just to see what all the hype is about but we all agreed we wouldn't get it again. We checked out at the front & then got utensils there and sat outside at the tables & ate our food. It was fun to go check out but not sure we would make a special trip again just to go there.

This Erewhon location is located in Manhattan Gateway, a busy plaza with plenty of shared parking. I came to try their strawberry glaze skin smoothies (the infamous Hailey Bieber one), as well as their matcha and coffee. You can order these at the Tonic Bar, and they have 2 iPads or you can speak directly to an employee. They also had hot foods and pastry. The smoothies definitely tasted refreshing and smooth, and you can tell the quality is there. For hot foods, I tried their classic mac & cheese, and their poke bowl. Prices are up there, but you do pay for quality.

I've been driving the extra distance to Trader Joe's ever since to do all my food shopping and have been really happy...but tonight I needed a few small things and Trader Joe's was close to closing time, so I rolled the dice and gave Ralph's another chance due to a closer proximity, later hours and the hopes that in all this time some improvements may have been made. I was so wrong; and the decision was a monumental mistake. There isn't a single category where Ralph's is even competitive with TJ's. The organic product quality was literally disgusting and I had to opt to just forego buying two of the items I needed. The bakery item I purchased (cake) was stale, loaded with chemicals, and left a strange film and aftertaste in my mouth to the point I couldn't even finish it. The employees are stressed out and spread thin due to insane understaffing (one poor unfortunate soul sweating & doing their best to man the only open register) Ralph's prices are much, much higher for worse quality and smaller portions. The only thing that seemed like it was a good deal was Kombuchas on sale...but once I got to the counter learned the price shown on the shelf required the downloading of an app, the linking of online accounts to other accounts, and an incredibly confusing time-consuming process that in the end GLITCHED and didn't even work! Long story short, I will be making sure to leave earlier and drive the extra miles to continue to go to Trader Joe's instead.
