I have been trying to catch up to them and finally saw them by happen-chance. The staff were very friendly. I got the Grand Pooh bah Tray. Crab Clusters and shrimp and Sausage, which they were out of. They were about to close. She asked if I wasted something inits place extra broccoli or corn, I said corn, got Broccoli. It comes with 1 pooh-bah sauce, I ordered 2 extra but just got butter instead. The crab was very good. The shrimp just ok. The corn (1) was good. Potato's were ok. My friend liked the broccoli. The eggs were just ok. Slightly over cooked for me. A little rubbery, like I stated they were about to close, that could possibly account for this. For $75 this is a one and done for me.

Someone from our group drove 40 minutes to their Greensboro, NC setup and was met with kindness, prompt service, and a smooth pickup experience right at 12 PM. The trays traveled well and stayed in the fridge until 8 PM. Once we reheated everything--WOW. We were blown away. We ordered the Cold Poobah Combo, Cold Royal, and Cold Everything, and it was a ton of food: crab clusters, large shrimp, chicken skewers, fajita steak, sausage, potatoes, broccoli, corn, and delicious sauces for each tray. Everything was seasoned perfectly and incredibly flavorful. Here's the shocker: I don't usually like seafood, and this still ranks as one of the best meals I've ever had. They've taken a common seafood concept and made it 1000x better. The quality did not drop one bit despite it being a cold tray. This setup allows them to serve more towns without sacrificing flavor--genius! The Palm Punch was fantastic too--we even used it as a champagne mixer the next morning. Minor feedback: * It would be helpful to include reheating instructions via email or website * Had some issues adding extras on the webform--might be a server load issue * Only got 3 corn cobs--would've loved a few more over potatoes (next time!) Thank you for bringing this amazing experience to Greensboro. We'll absolutely be back--and we're already planning a trip to your brick-and-mortar location. Don't sleep on the cold trays--they are SO worth it!

I like that they have specials every night. It makes it affordable for people to come and enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, the biggest issue I had was the service. My waitress Makayla was incredibly rude. She lacked basic service etiquette. When asked about what types of beverages they offer she listed off the types of beverages with making funny faces and saying I really don't know. When receiving the food, I noticed that there was an ingredient that I am allergic to. I told her that this is what was in my food and I needed to change my order. She insisted that she knew the recipe and that the thing that I was allergic to was not not in it. She argued with me about it with an attitude when I simply just needed the sauce to be changed. While my guest and I were sitting at the table talking and still eating our food, she came over and said how we like to pay when it was clear that we were not finished eating. Not only that she was so worried about restocking her tables that she started grabbing things off of our table to restock them and then slamming them back down next to us. She made us feel as if we had some sort of time limit when we had only been there for approximately 35 minutes. I politely asked was there a time limit that we had for eating there she replied with no there is not with an attitude. She continue to do petty things like interrupt us and make us feel incredibly unwelcome. However, she treated the other tables around us with so much enthusiasm. Myself and my guests are not picky people and were there to have a great time she dampened that a lot. This is so unfortunate because I believe this place is probably an amazing place, but her attitude didn't reflect that. Other than that, the place is great for families, large parties and is affordable.

Instead, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. From the beginning, things felt off. Our server was wearing basketball shorts, which seemed completely inappropriate for the atmosphere and setting of the restaurant. The wait for our food was excessive, and when it finally arrived, it was almost entirely inedible. The food was cold, the broccoli was essentially raw, the rice and risotto looked and tasted nothing like they should, and every meal at the table was disappointing. For a bill of over $300, not a single person in our party left satisfied. To make matters worse, we noticed the restaurant had a B sanitation rating, which certainly didn't inspire confidence after the quality of the meal we received. The waterfront location is beautiful, but that's where the positives end. When you're paying premium prices for a special celebration, you expect quality food, attentive service, and a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we got none of those. We won't be returning, and I couldn't recommend Saltwater Grill to friends, family, or anyone looking for a nice meal in the area.
