Refused to look at the medical records. Claimed the ER doctors know nothing and it would be useless to look at their findings. Then he did nothing but lecture me on life. The whole time looking me straight in eye with a smirk, like he was waiting to see my reaction. Like he enjoyed it. Not only was he rude and unprofessional, he kept asking questions about my personal life totally unrelated to the medical conditions. I have filed a complaint with the office manager, my insurance, as well as my primary physician. I'm hoping to stop anyone from seeing him until he gets treatment or changes his behavior. He did nothing to help nor did he even try.

When I called to make my appointment, I found out that Dr. Yoo moved his practice to a new building in Diamond Bar as of March 2024. Dr. Yoo's new office is located in the newly renovated Diamond Bar Medical Plaza, which was previously a Chuck E. Cheese (if you all were in the area when that was around). Looks like they are still in construction, as a couple offices are still vacant with plastic on the glass windows. The staff I encountered all very friendly and nice. Dr. Yoo was professional and clearly explained the process and indicated what I needed to do to prep for my procedure. I came in on a Monday and the front staff was able to fit me into an appointment on Thursday due to a last minute cancellation. This kind of procedure is not fun, but the entire staff made me feel comfortable the entire time, and the nurse who attended to me was so nice, I felt like my mom was taking care of me. =) She made sure I had extra blankets because I was cold and came by a couple times to made sure my IV was ok. I got a call the day after to follow up and see how I was feeling and if I was experiencing any issues. I appreciate the check in even though I was feeling good! I highly recommend Dr. Yoo if you need an gastroenterologist.

The liver doctor at hospital gave him a year to live. After he was released we were traveling to a doctor in San Gabriel which was quite a distance since my parents live in Lakewood, Ca. After searching the internet I came across Dr. Mankal in Los Alamitos and when I say he has been an absolute God send, I mean it!!!! While my father's condition is not without its issues, Dr. Mankal has been amazing. His bedside manner is incredible, he is patient and extremely knowledgeable and best of all my father is still with us, 4 years after the liver doctor at the hospital wrote him off. I also love the portal and usually get answers to questions or requests for meds within 24 hours. I hesitate to post this review because I worry Dr. Mankal will be swamped with new patients but then I think of others facing these types of challenges and needing quality care and feel compelled to share. New Patient Process I called the office to ask about their new patient process, and they helpfully walked me through the process and directed me to their online forms. After filling out the online forms and submitting them via email, I was able to call the office and have someone on the phone to help with questions. Super nice and patient staff members! They also responded to my patient forms same-day, and my first appointment was scheduled within a week. Appointments The patient portal and ability to use televisits is really convenient. I am not a tech-savvy person, and I was able to setup my account online, pay online, and virtually meet Dr. Mankal in a televisit. Patient Care Dr. Mankal listened to all my concerns and was able to describe what was happening in a way I could easily understand. He prescribed clear directions for next steps, and a prognosis. I really appreciated how clear and attentive he was.

I had the chance to see Dr. Trivedi once when Dr. H was unavailable, and I was so impressed by his bedside manner that I requested to switch to him as my gastroenterologist. However, my request was denied after Dr. H's input citing that patients can't switch doctors within the practice. Their secretary staff are at least quick to comply with sending over medical records to my new gastroenterologist or other doctor's that may need my medical summary history performed by Dr. H. If you have the option, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Trivedi. My mother sees him, and two other doctors I know absolutely adore him as well. It's just unfortunate that I'm not allowed to be one of his patients!

Dr. Aeri Kang used to be my primary and she's in the same office, but I didn't like how she wasn't personal. I know that doctors don't like to be personal but it's nice to hear a sincere "How are you?" sometimes. I always felt rushed out of there and I didn't feel comfortable telling her anything. She pushes pills and I didn't like that. I also wanted to know my options for birth control but she didn't care to explain. It's like I had no choice but to just take pills. Now, that I'm under the care of Dr. Marilla I'm so much more happier when I go to the doctor! She's thorough and doesn't go through the motions! She genuinely cares about her patients and I love that! She takes the time to explain illness and treatments and medications that she's giving you. And I finally I know about all the different birth control options. Super plus points! She's an absolutely fabulous doctor to have! You won't regret it!

When you have a workers comp injury from your employer nearby, chances are, you will come here…read more Upon arrival, 3 people in front of us in line had the same injury slip. You will need to check, do paper work and wait until they call you like any other doctors office. However, waiting here is unusually long compared to other doctor´s offices. 30 minutes after paperwork, you will enter and a nurse will take your vitals and you will wait another 30 minutes for the doctor to come. The room is small and cold will and will only have 1 seat. If you need additional screening like X-Ray, you will continue to wait. We waited almost another 60 minutes just for someone to check on us. Long story short, almost 4 hours here for something that shouldn´t take more than an hour. But what was really upsetting was making the appointment for the return visit. According to the lady in the front, there was only 1 choice in time. And that time is during working hours. Most of the time when you make return appointments, there would be at least choices right? Not so here.

He notice that my nose looks really swollen so he prescribe be 2 different kind of nose spray. Check back with Dr Kao in 1.5 months and there was no different in my breathing. He took a closer look and said I have a deviated septum and gave me the 3 different scenario on what I wanted to do. It took me a few months to decide but I opt for the surgery route since it's 90% effective. The office staff was quick and wonderful at scheduling the pre-op, surgery, and post-op. Everything was explained very throughly. The surgery facility is very clean one of the cleanest I've seen so far. The nurses (did a great job that my IV sight did not bruised) and anesthesiologist was very professional and courteous. I thought I was going to be in major pain but it wasn't too bad. Doctor said down time was a week but I only took a day off after surgery since I work from home.
