I have been a long time EC loyalist and fan but after my latest experience with the company I will never again use their products or recommend them. Run. Away. Spend. Your. Money. Elsewhere. My latest order of $150 finally arrived it and to no surprise it had issues because that is just the EC way. So my order a) arrived damaged, b) was missing a product and c) another product sent the completely wrong product. Now this isn't my first, second or even third time having issues with an order. So I reached out to the EC team through Facebook because that's the only place you'll probably ever get a response. Don't bother with email, phone calls, you'll be lucky if you ever hear back. Facebook is always the way to go, they're excellent. All's I asked for was the missing product and the correct replacement for the wrong product. The FB team is amazing, so I know this next part isn't on them but in fact the terrible company policies of EC. Now to be clear neither of the two items I asked to be corrected were personalized so there should be no delay in shipping the proper items to me ASAP. Especially since the company is the one that made mistake and their first priority should be to immediately correct it with a customer. Surprise!!! It's not, get in line with the rest of us. While I did reach out on Friday, I expected my products to be shipped by the following Tuesday. Well just kidding cause that certainly didn't happen. I got zero feedback until reached out today and was told it takes 3-5 days for them to correct their mistakes. Tomorrow marks a week and guess what? I still won't have the correct products in my hands. So for the money you pay for their products, the amount the errors they have in general processing and shipping(just search any social media group) and then their lack of concern about quickly remedying their mistakes is a big enough red flag to tell you to spend your hard earned money else where. UPDATE: Replacement order arrived 10 days later... and while they sent me a whole new planner that I don't need or want, they still did not send the missing checklist notes that never came in the first order. So here we are a week and a half later and my order is still incomplete and not even worth my time dealing with to get it correct anymore. Placed a new order with Foliofax instead and will be here by the end of the week! Never again wasting my time with EC. Huge disappointment. read more

Since my last review I have had an opportunity to visit the store again and our experience was a bit better. The store is colorful, fun, and inviting! If you know what you're looking for I am sure you'll have no issues finding it! If you're a little unsure of what you're looking for, it seems you have to find someone to ask. I ventured in with my mom, explaining to her what the store was and that I was looking for a wedding planner, she is a teacher so I hoped she would find some things she might use for lesson planning too. I was also hoping to find out if she liked anything so I could use it for future gift ideas! There are so many adorable planners, notebooks, stickers and organizational items in this store. The layout is beautiful. The items are beautiful. However it is a little overwhelming and no one tends to point you in a direction or explain what you're looking at. At the entrance of the store there are some example planners, we browsed the wedding one for a while. I loved that it had a lot of planning tips inside! It was exactly what I was looking for. But after looking at it for quite a few minutes then looping the store twice looking for them to purchase, I could not find them and eventually we had to ask someone for help, I was disappointed that no one offered us assistance. Once we asked about the wedding planners, the sales associate took us right over to the little table where they were, explained 24 and 12 month options, customization options, and showed us all the features! She was very helpful once we asked for help! And we absolutely loved the wedding planner!! My only wish is that I could pick my start and end months, instead of picking just 12 or 24 month planners. My wedding is in July 2019, so I'd like a planner from now until July 2019. Unfortunately in stores they only carry the planner from that month onward, so it looks like I'll have to purchase online or wait until July to purchase a 12 month! Things I love: 1. Store design: totally Instagram worthy 2. Products: adorable, trendy, makes me want to plan, Great gift ideas 3. Wedding planner: I am definitely buying one because it had amazing tips and planning tools specifically for weddings 4. So glad I finally got to visit this place. We visited on a Sunday after lunch, and while the shopping center was busy, EC was not packed. The employees were so friendly, and immediately helped me customize the notebook I'd been looking at. It was out in less than 10 minutes and the girls at checkout were incredibly conversational while I checked out. Not a bad word to say about this place, great experience all around! read more

As soon as I walked in, I knew I was about to spend some money. I was greeted as soon as I reached the counter. I liked that a couple of reps asked if I needed help and gave me the freedom to browse without interruption. Once I knew what I wanted, I reached out to one of the associates and she was very friendly and patient because I changed my mind about the cover a couple of times. There's a lot to see but I was already prepared for it...the Facebook group prepared me. Since I was having the cover customized, the associate let me know it would take about 15 minutes. Right on the dot, plus I got an upgrade on my coil since they were out of the standard at no charge. If you are a planner addict, you already know what's up in this world. I have another planner by another company and comparing it to EC, I like the flow of this one. read more

I LOVE this store! I am a huge Erin Condren planner fan. I've used her planners for the last 4 years. I just absolutely love them.. so when I realized that this store opened and only a few hours drive from me, I knew I had to go! The store itself is beautiful! It is so bright and cheerful you can't help but be in a good mood. The sales associates were all extremely friendly and happy to help you with anything that you needed. There are several options available in store that are not available online. I even saw Erin Condren herself in the store but I was too shy to approach her! You definitely will not regret coming here! It's in an awesome area with a ton of things to do. read more

I really love the concept of Erin Condren. They do offer quality work and craftmanship, however in terms of the Life Planner that I purchased a couple months back I cannot offer the same sentiment. I invested over $100 in this planner and I have barely used it because it's constantly falling apart and a hassle to work with. I purchased a bulkier planner with a spiral style binding and the back and front covers constantly fall off. It's really disappointing. I would recommend purchasing a life planner elsewhere and utilizing Erin Condren for their accessories. As far as the staff goes, I had a great experience with the main person who assisted me. read more

This place is magic. It is unicorns and rainbows. I gave them all my money. I was in Austin for just the weekend, and so glad I came into this store!! The colorful wall caught my eye - was like a magnetic pull! I didn't know what to expect, never heard of the brand before. When I stepped my mouth dropped! It's everything I needed, that I didn't even know. I am a bujo enthusiast, so this place was perfect. I definitely spent more money than I probably should have haha. My wallet felt some pain, but my heart was full and happy. I got the wellness bundle as a gift for friend. Got two of the fancy sticker books. And one of the 2018 calendar stickers. I asked one of the staff member how much the calendar sticker, and she said it's probably priced as much as this other item. But when I paid, it actually cost more than what she told me, so I was a bit sad about that I asked another rep, if this was the only store in Austin and the US. She said it's the first store, and they just recently opened. Hoping they come to New York!!!! Would then be able to buy more goodies!! read more

We just drove in to Austin from Baton Rouge to shop at EC. I usually order what I want from EC but after driving here earlier this year, I really wanted to come in one more time. This place is like a candy store to me!!! Everything is so beautiful and I just love all of the patterns and seeing the new products. I have to say that on both of my visits I've been greeted by an employee shortly after my arrival. I just received my Erin Condren package and I am incredibly disappointed!! This is the biggest ripoff I have recieved this holiday season. The strap on the purse keeps coming un-clipped from the purse-neither clasp closes shut and stays shut. The glitter pen is rough and glitter is falling off everywhere. The pen is uncomfortable to use and keeps scratching my hand. The 'enjoy*' labels are something I could have made on my own for a quarter of the cost. The cover of the planner is a laminated piece of paper-SERIOUSLY!?? I have bought better quality products at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. There are no daily planning pages, there is only a monthly view followed by lined paper! To top it all off, the sticky 'to-do' list is microscopic-I cannot SEE the printed times, much less WRITE THAT SMALL! I have been told amazing things about this company, and I am so disappointed. I don't know if the quality has changed and declined, or if this was what all the hype was about all along, but its TRASH! The store was bright, airy, and very organized. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well. If you live in Texas and have the opportunity to visit the flagship store, I would recommend it as they have a few items in store that they don't offer online, and you don't have to pay shipping! They also have computers available for you to use to order customized planners and notebooks, but I don't believe customers are able to pick them up same day from the store. Overall, the store had a pretty good selection of non-customized paper goods and lots of accessories. read more

I wanted to check out this store after hearing positive things from friends and co-workers. They all have planners from Erin Condren, so I decided to check it out. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and attended to. The sales clerk answered all my questions and walked me through the process of creating my own planner. It was done in about 15 minutes and it looks awesome! During the 15 minutes, I wandered around and looked at the other merchandise. I picked out some stickers and add-ins for my planner. They give you a discount if you buy 4 or more accessories (which I took advantage of). The clerk packaged up my planner very nicely and even put it in a reusable bag for free! I enjoyed my experience here and I'll definitely be back again. (Also, I love the colorful aesthetic of the store!) read more

This review is for an online order. I placed an order online that was scheduled to deliver on September 3. It didn't arrive. It sat on a doc in Texas for days. Once it arrived to my town, the package sat on a dock there for another three days. Then FedEx turned my package over to USPS. Now it has traveled all over the cities around me while the support team keeps telling me, it will be there tomorrow. Only it never comes. I tried to file it as a lost package and support team ignored me. Saying it was on its way. Why pay 80.00 for a planner for September that I can't even use in September. BEWARE... once your item ships, they don't care if it gets to you or not. read more

You can create projects here, make your own creative journals, planners, and notebooks. There are all kinds of gizmos and gadgets to add bling to your books as well like bands, magnetic bookmarks, stickers, etc. The world is your oyster. I bought a small wide lined journal for $12 in the sale section, and that included free engraving on the front. It took just 15 minutes to wait for the engraving to be completed. I took a seat in their sunken oversized couch section with free chargers between the cushions. Very clever! I never knew about Erin Condren's items before this store went in. I guess she started online, and this is her first brick and mortar store. It is her flagship location. In the future, they will host events upstairs, and private parties. Just sign up online to receive an event newsletter. The items add up fast, the stuff is not cheap! But, I do like a fun work journal! read more

I have been dying to get to this store as soon as I heard of its opening! Luckily I live in Houston so the drive isn't too bad and I finally made it up there. Unfortunately, my experience was similar to previous reviewers and that just makes me sad. But I guess I was expecting a bit of disappointment as I had read the reviews before going, which also put me at high alert to be aware of what was going on around me. As a seasoned EC customer I knew what was offered and was so stoked to get in there and buy all the things. I walked in, there were THREE employees standing at the table at the door chatting away and NONE of them greeted me or offered any assistance or guidance to the lay of the land or the process. The layout is great, and can most definitely be way overwhelming with stuff and excitement and wanting everything. I took a look around and after being at the store for 5 minutes, someone finally greeted me. But just a "hi" and that was it. I walked over to the wall of amazement where you can create your own planner right then and there. Again, two employees standing at the wall and I was offered no help or explanation, they were chatting amongst themselves about personal things (I could hear them). Finally, after getting half way down the wall a different girl walked up to me and asked if I wanted to make a planner. I said I was looking and she walked away - no explanation just "oh, okay" and moved on. I thought I had said it in a way that would've opened her up to discuss the process but nope, she joined the other two who were chatting. Two more times this happened. Then finally, another employee came up to me as I was looking at the different options of the layouts and we discussed layouts but by that time I was so discouraged with the experience I chose to not create my own like I had planned and anticipated. Instead I chose a small and large hardbound planner, some stickers and was able to select some items for my mom's birthday gift. Finally when I went to the check out counter the girl who checked me out was what I was looking for from the start - super bubbly, full of knowledge, excited to be there AND even informed me that if you spend over $75 you got the EC surprise box (just for that weekend I think) - and I was so stoked! The stuff inside was GREAT! I love EC and will always remain a fan and customer BUT the employees at the flagship store need to have a come to Jesus chat - or girls that truly love the EC life need to be employed. I will likely go back to the store, because I like being able to get the things instantly and see them in person but I will always have my guard up and come in prepared to possibly be ignored or not helped. Which again, is so sad because I know EC cherishes her customers. Just wish her employees did too. read more

This lovey shop can be very addicting. There are a lot of beautiful things from planners to stickers you named it. This is not your typical stationary store. My humble opinion you get what you pay for. I will forever and always be addicted to this place. I love everthino Erin Condren but they need to get their shipping team together! It's like many years ago when you ordered something and it was always 4 to 6 weeks wait time. They simply take too long and orders arrive after planner start dates. I places an order in Sept 22nd and it still hasn't shipped. Told it will be expedited 2 days ago and it still is "processing". I went in and got 4 things the employees clearly don't understand their policy and what counts as an accessory. I payed $50. If I ordered the same stuff online I would get the 15% even though the employee said this one item wasn't an accessory even though it was in the accessory isle for $36. On top of that I tried calling the store to see if they can honor this and deduct the charge from my credit card but everything I cal it immediately hangs up. And if I want to call their headquarters I can schedule a call in a week... horrible experience and so sad because I love their stuff read more

I was in town for a conference and this was the only store in Austin I wanted to visit. I gave it three stars bc while the store and products are beautiful, the customer service wasn't great. They were out of the planner that I wanted so one girl said if I used their computer to order I'd get free shipping. I said ok and she helped me get started. She was busy when it was time to put the code in so I asked an employee that was free. That's when the bad service started. She said I couldn't use my online coupon and get free shipping and walked away. I was surprised by her attitude. She wasn't the nicest when I was checking out either. I understand if someone has a bad day but her attitude did not match a brand that exudes happiness. It was definitely a disappointing first visit. read more
