This place has both good and bad qualities. I have been going here since I was a young kid. I believe it is better for lunch with the prices right. For dinner it can be a bit pricey but the main food dishes are good. Cheesesteak egg rolls were on special and I will give them props they were some of the best we have had. 2 of us got the veal parm which was excellent. Someone got chicken parm, he said it was decent. My mom loved her prime rib and another got fried flounder. Everyone is always happy with the main course. Vegetables are always a disappointment though, they are canned or very poor quality. French fries are also those big steak fries, which I am not a fan of but that's just a preference thing. Lunch is the time to go and they have amazing cheeseburgers. read more

We usually leave Erin Pub for special occasions but we do go here quite a bit. The food is very good, I like to get the Surf and Turf and their Mussels are very good! My only complaints with the place are that it is a little dark inside and it can have a tendency to get a bit loud. They often have large groups coming in that can be a little boisterous. Went to this place last week. I had a clam chowder and then the broiled seafood combination. I enjoyed the chowder. The seafood bake was very good. It was cooked just right and was a generous amount of food. I give it 4 stars because one of the sides was peas and mushroom, and it was basically mostly peas with two small pieces of mushroom. Have been there probably 200 times in 30plus years of living in the area. The food is priced right, considering the quality...cheap! I have had much better food in any diner I have ever been in. I don't know why it hasn't been improved over all the years.. I see they put some money into the dark atmosphere and men's room over that few years..but it's dirty.. Old caked on food on the Old outdated black paneling next to our always present rocky table....No reason for that. Was just there 2/28 lunchtime. The staff was completely unfriendly, hardly engaged. I ordered the prime rib, decent...backed potato was great. The roll was just a hoagie roll sliced partly through...can you even bother? Same coleslaw I'm sure from a 5 gallon white tub, yada yada yada... I could go on. I guess to the lower middle class population of that area, of which I belong to as well, of Delco whom never usually drives farther than 4 towns in either direction for the majority of their lives....its amazing. I challenge the owner to step it up..even if he has to increase prices. I think the loyal die hard customer base deserves it. read more

Excellent fresh food at a reasonable price. I have been going there since I was a child with my parents. I would only recommend if you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night call ahead, it can get crowded.... Which says a lot about them. read more

We have just had one if the worst dining experiences ever at the Erin Pub. We arrived around 8 15. We had a brief wait and then were seated upstairs. The upstairs had only a few customers so not sure what The wait was for. Waitress came to our table after being seated for 10 minutes. Waited a while for our drinks. The food was mediocre at best. The highlight of the dinner is when the staff starting cleaning and sweeping vigorously while eating out meal. It is so enjoyable to have 3 to 4 people sweeping all around you while you are eating your meal. I especially enjoyed the waitress bending over to sweep while her butt is in the air to the right side of my face! After complaining to our waitress the manager on duty came over to apologize. Matt was very apologetic. Offered a drink and when we said no thanks He apologized again but made no other offers to rectify our horrible dining experience. He said he knows this is wrong and he was sorry. A good manager would have offered to take something off the check or even cover it when he knows his staff was in the wrong for cleaning while customers eating. The ambiance is non existent. The food is not good. The employees need a lesson in etiquette. Last time we will ever go there. Enjoy if you like throwing your money for A crap dinner experience. read more

I called today for a bridal shower of 17. The person I spoke with said I can use the room upstairs next to the booths but he couldn't promise me a private room because I do not have a party of 20. with 17 people it would be packed in that room and I wouldn't have be able to have a presentation table to put the cake on. He said that people would be in the same room with the shower, what two tables against the wall, ridiculous? What a joke and I had several shower's here. He said that he can take my $100 deposit. I absolutely love the Erin Pub. The food is amazing, great atmosphere, and I have many great memories there. I typically go for the seafood combo (all of the choices are great), with a clams casino appetizer. Prime Rib is great, chicken parm, any of the soups... eventually, I tried the wings, and realized that they are my favorite wing spot as well. Checked out Erin Pub last (Sunday) night. The place was indeed crowded and do the wait staff, although very professional, were a bit overwhelmed. That being said, service was sufficient. I must say this is not my first rodeo here at Erin Pub and every time I do come here the food is consistent, huge portions and flavorful. My wife had the crab cakes and they were to die for. I had one of the specials, chicken rosa parm and it too was full of flavor and quit a big portion. All in all, very good.. As usual. So if you're ever in the area or just looking for a good old fashion restaurant, this is the place. read more

My parents have taken me to the Pub since I was young and it has always been one of my favorite spots in Delco. I have always had an awesome experience with the staff as well as with the food. However, I was in last night and all of the girls were absolutely awesome. Our waitress Paige was on top of everything and extremely friendly. The waitress, Jessica, couldn't remember who ordered what for the life of her. There were only three of us and she didn't even try. She tossed the dishes on the table. Been going to the Erin Pub since I was about 12. It has not changed much in 30 years and that is a good thing. Still the best buy in town for a great meal at a great price. Stuffed lobster tai rocks. My favorite restaurant! I love (LOVE) their prime rib dinners. The serving is so large that I end up taking the leftovers home and getting two additional meals off of it. The servers are always so friendly and the food arrives quickly and hot. I've also had take out from here and it just as amazing. This restaurant definitely ranks a 5 star rating! read more

Really like to start off with the stuffed mushrooms, then I'll typically go for the chicken parm, two large chicken breast topped with sauce and cheese, it's very good and normally enough to take some home. Ordered a filet mignon, from one of the "best places in prospect park," as well as two other entrees. The three entrees were suppose to supply French fries which were never in the bag, along with two sides of Brussel sprouts that were soaked in water, the entire day maybe even more. Ordered ONE side of corn that was equal to the amount of TWO sides of vegetables of the day (the water soaked Brussels that smelled way past over due). The filet Minton was ordered medium and was saw served RARE. The server never checked the TO go boxes to see if it was even the correct food. The entire FOOD order was Incorrect except for they're "specials," which was prime rib. BOTH of the filets mignons were under cooked and clearly put on the charcoal to just heat up. Both rare filets, shrimp as well as a medium prime rib took an hour and 15 minutes for TO GO. And this was clearly stated as we sat down. Really do not recommend this place for food. They can't keep up with there exquisite meanu that makes them differ from all the other pubs. Ceartinly a disappoint, I wasn't even able to eat half of this meal. read more

Sorry, but I have a mixed review of our visit. We went there on Wednesday, arriving at 5:30, so the place wasn't busy. We did call ahead just in case. But it took several minutes before the hostess acknowledged us, then about 5 more minutes before we were seated because she was running around getting ready. Loved the old school look and feel to the place. Disappointed that we were sat in a corner and my view was my wife, and two walls. Now this was our anniversary, so not complaining about the view of my wife. This was our first time there and many friends have been recommending it, so we wanted a special night out. My wife ordered the chicken cordon bleu, and it looked delicious. I had her leftovers the next day and I confirm that it was great. For my meal, the king cut prime rib. Was recommended by everyone, and read all the great reviews. I ordered it medium-rare. The waitress was not the most attentive (made us wait for drinks, etc.) but when she brought the meal, just sat it down and left. Small table so was paying more attention to where I could arrange things so I could eat. Then looked at my meal. It looked dark, and when I cut into it there was no pink inside. Waited (and looked) for the waitress. And waited. And waited. And waited. Finally decided I was too hungry to wait anymore and my wife was nearly half done. It was well done and basically just roast beef as it was over-cooked, and no longer moist. Next time we saw the waitress was when she asked if we wanted boxes. Too much disappointment and frustration at this point, so didn't complain about the meal (and didn't want to spoil a special night). And, of course, another long wait to get a box, and the bill. I haven't given up on this place yet. Too many good recommendations from people I trust. And my wife's meal was delicious. The salad dressing was delicious. And the environment, other than the small corner table with no view, was interesting. I will give it another try in the future and update then. read more

Have gone to Erin Pub many times...with or without a reservation..and I am prepared to wait ...last evening ..(Sat 11/11/17) we had a reservation for 2 at 5:30. .we arrived on time , checked in with hostess, there were many people waiting, some with reservations, some without, at about 5:55, we were still waiting, we inquired with the hostess, to make sure, we were not forgotten, she still had us on the list stating we were coming up..at 6:10...noticing many others were being sat before us , I again inquired, I was told we were the next reservation....again many others were sat before us.....at 6:20...I inquired again..and was now told in a unpleasant manner", that " they can't seat two people at a table for 4, if that's all that's available".......there was no apology, no clear answer on when we could expect to be sat.. .I have worked in the restaurant business......and that is not the way you handle reservations...we left, and I don't believe we will be returning, I will also never recommend it to anyone again....the food is fair, the vegetables are usually overcooked and poorly prepared, we went to a BYOB and had one of the best meals ever...So I guess in the long run I need to thank the Erin Pub...for not seating us. read more
