Their guy got on the roof to clean out everything. I called for a quote. They called back a asked to come out for an estimate or to pull up a photo of my house. He gave me an estimate and I booked an appointment. On day of service they sent one guy only for a 100 window job. He of course said no way one guy could do the job. Which I agreed there are 100 windows and three levels which they knew before hand. I agreed for a reschedule the next week. They never showed up at the scheduled time nor contacted to say why they didn't show up. Very unreliable service. If they don't like a job they just don't show up. Unprofessional. read more

The rain yesterday caused a puddle under our gutters. It was time for gutter cleaning! I called several other companies but Ernest Windows was the best value. They even came over less than two hours after I called. The gutters were hand cleaned and the blower was used as well as water was poured down the downspouts to be certain there were no blockages. My gutters needed some attention, after the past storms I could tell I had some seams that required sealing and cleaning due to some spots with overflow. I have not come across many places that fixed gutters, but then I saw an add for Ernest services in a mail flier. I am glad I saw the ad and gave them a call. I was able to get the tech out to my house as scheduled, and he was very courteous and made sure to listen to my gutter problems. Vaidas then swiftly cleaned and repaired the gutters. I must say when I called and the man said we could come out immediately it seemed a little aggressive so I made an appointment or the next week. When the appointment time passed I called and was called back to let me know the man would be here in 30 minutes and that was fine with me. Then a Toyota Prius pulls up and I thought that was a little strange, but a nice young man Robert came to the door who was very polite, we agreed on a price and he went to work. We found Ernest Windows Inc through Thumbtack and contacted the company early in the morning, and they came the same day. This was very important as we were having our home inspected for a sale. A big plus for us!! The gentleman arrived, was polite and got to work quickly. He told us he would be doing the gutters then using the blower to get rid of remaining leaves. He also said he would be leaving the bags of the leaves outside - which was fine. He quickly got to work while we stayed indoors and when he was done gave us the bill - as quoted. Very quick, polite and efficient. The only feedback we have is that there were a lot more leaves on the side of our house area than there were before they came. This was disappointing but not a deal breaker. Would hire them again and recommend them. read more

This was a horrible experience. The first visit was unsuccessful...windows were not cleaned to completion. We reached out to the owner who came out and redid the work but he did not do a good job either. I have had to redo three windows after he came . That does not include the front door which was quoted but never touched once. I now have to do the front door. I cant believe we paid for this. read more

I had my windows and gutters cleaned last week - my first "hire" since the pandemic. He showed up late with no mask, no gloves and no shoe coverings. Talked on his cell phone the entire time he worked both inside and out of my home. (I disinfected everything after he left). Several of my screens were not put back in correctly, one landing in my yard from above the next day. None of the windows on the first floor were locked, even though that was the status when he arrived and my air was on. This was my first time using Ernest and will be my last. Had the company clean my windows and screens and gutters yesterday. The good: gutters well done. The bad: left the gutter trash in a black plastic bag, outside my open garage. Could have put the bag in my garbage can. The badder: window cleaning was half assed, missed spots, shoddy. Left the blinds up on all of the windows. Even badder: failed to re-lock the windows after cleaning. The baddest: there's are price points: 1-15 windows, 16-24 windows, etc. charged me the 16 window price. Didn't give me the option to eliminate one of the windows to qualify for the lower price. What owner didn't know is mine was a test of his service for other homeowners in my HOA. I've already passed the word to stay away from this vendor. Subsequent to posting my review, the owner called me to address the issues that I raised. His answers exposed a larger problem: his cleaning crews are not trained to treat customers in the same manner that the owner would have, had the owner been at the job site. The owner stressed that he was willing to make any and every effort to address my concerns and made several generous offers. I have chosen not to accept any of his offers, but I recognize that he made a sincere and concerted effort to satisfy me. Accordingly I have changed my score from 1 star to 3 stars. read more

Should have listened to all the other reviews stating how they just don't show up... Made an appointment and made it very clear how we needed our windows washed as we were having parental guests who are judgemental of cleanliness. Ernest assured us they would be able to clean our windows. No one showed up and not even a courtesy call letting us know they wouldn't make it. Maybe they clean well if they bother to show up but don't count on them for a specific date! read more

Thought I would give them a try. I have Pella windows with blinds integrated into the window, which means there are 4 panes of glass to clean per window when the insert is removed with the blinds. The outside was done fairly well, as was the inside. Many of the "insides" were either not cleaned or cleaned very poorly. Had them come back to redo several windows. 30 days after they have "cleaned" the windows, it looks like I am seeing fog outside of my windows when the sun shines on them when in reality it is poor cleaning and they never removed the film from the internal part of the windows. I also got charged an "upcharge" on a larger window above my front dor, which I have NEVER done with any other company. The two employees, who seemed to be college aged students on summer jobs, really did not seem to care, one did not even know how to remove the window inserts for cleaning. Once they were done, they were "hanging" around, I am presuming thinking that I was going to tip them. NOT! I am once and done with Ernest Windows. read more
