Ball of hair in my food
    Mary G.

DO NOT GO PLEASE THIS IS APRIL 30TH 2023 IN A BURRITO DE BARBACOA The very first bite I took I found this chunk of hair in it, I went back and they claimed it wasn't there and tried to say we placed it in so please check your food before eating anywhere!!

I asked for a carne asada burrito with cilantro and beans. The size is good however it tasted and looked more like shredded beef. The avocado is extra so I choose to add my own st home. It was a little greasy for me. Overall it has a decent flavor but I don't I'll go back because of the grease.

Very good! Must try. Tacos are well stuffed lol green salsa is not too hot and the aguas Frescas de melon was just right not too sugary.

This is THE WORST taqueria I have EVER been to! The food is terrible. No type of flavor/seasoning, a low quality of meat and even the rice and beans were bad! Nobody wanted to eat the food. The horchata seriously lacked flavor. You'd think with the quality of food they're serving that they would at least have good customer service to make up for it but NOPE! They're rude and need some serious improvement in that department too. I guess that's why their tip jar is empty! I ordered some carne asada tacos and had some weird chunks of who knows what in it! See photo attached. The only reason we even tried this place is because Juanito's was closed for New Years!

    Taco de chicharron. Pretty tasty.

Ive been coming here on and off for about 10 years. This visit I got a couple of tacos de chicharrones. Nice crispy pork skins with some attached crunchy meat which is my favorite way to eat it. (If you ask for that in Oklahoma, where I live now, you will get the soft kind which I do not like) So I always ask when I go somewhere Ive never been. The tacos come with cilantro and onion with some homemade green salsa and a lime wedge. Single tacos are just about $2 each with tax. They have other delicious meat to choose from. I always stick to the chicharron and the barbacoa. The burritos are very good and a nice size. Those have your choice of meat, refried beans, cilantro, onions, cheese and salsa. They also have platos that come with rice, beans and choice of tortillas. They have nachos with nacho cheese which I have had many times and with those, they have good days where the cheese is nice and smooth and the chips are crispy but then they have their bad days where the cheese is lumpy and the chips are stale. Ask to taste a chip and judge yourself if youre not sure. You can order them with just cheese and jalapenos or you can order them with your choice of meat for an additional price. They load them full and they are so good if fresh. I wash all that yummy goodness down with a large horchata. *Oh they accept cash only*

One thing I love about this place.... they dont skimp out on the meat. Oh, and if you're into the "gluten free", low calories life... This place is not for you.

    Incredible tacos!!

The rice had no flavor and it was dry. The flautas are good here. The beef fajita tacos were alright.

Dive place, but good food. Barbacoa is a bit greasy, but I prefer their other tacos like the guisado de rez or the picadillo.

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
