    Giant torta

There are several of these locations but my first experience was at one over 50 miles from home. I'm glad there are a few somewhat closer. For this location, it is still take out only. So my coworker and I decided to order away and dine in the truck. The cashier was so welcoming and friendly. He talked us through the menu and their popular items and gave us suggestions on what to order. My coworker ordered the biggest torta that was full of tender beef. I convinced him to let me try it (when he wasn't looking) and I'll definitely order that next time. However the tacos and Gordita I ordered of suadero and cachete were outstanding too. They had agua fresca and I recommend the agua de jamaica. Great service, great food, outstanding tacos!

Delicioso! The food is authentic Mexican cuisine. Pastor, suadero and carnitas were my favorite meats offered by this place. Horchata and Jamaica were really good too.

A good torta all starts from the bread/bun, and OMG, this bun is TASTY! Perfectly crispy and crunchy but light and so well seasoned. Awesome vehicle for the taco filling inside

Up to date menu with pricing changes for reference! I'm a local to Fort Worth and have tried taco places all over! This place is by far my go to and the best.

Went for lunch on Friday afternoon. We will be backs. There are so many options, it is authentic and everything is delicious. On this visit I ordered a Bistec taco and fried chicken quesadilla. Parking is easy, there is social distancing and the staff wears masks. Everything is super fresh and I'm never disappointed when leaving with a full belly. The prices are spot on as well. I am happy that it wasn't too busy while we were there.

Best taqueria around Fort Worth! I've been here too many times to count, and I have yet to be disappointed. The tacos are on point! Fresh and good ingredients, I really like the bistec and chicken, but the barbacoa and lingua are also good if you like these types of meat. I've tried almost everything on the menu including huaraches, tortas, quesadillas, gorditas, and sopes. A note on their tortas... they're fantastic and about the size of your plate! Friendly & quick service, topped with great food, and cheap prices, what's not to like!

What in the world. I never reviewed but I go here everyday? Disappointed in myself. BEST TACO PLACE POR MI. I've been going to the Dallas location since it's closer to work and it's amazing. The tacos are so cheap but so much quality! My ultimate favorite is the steak quesadilla for only $2.50. I usually get 3 tacos and 1 quesadilla and it will fill you up. They are not cheap on the cheese and toppings. I recommend the pastor, steak, cactus is pretty good too if you're into bell peppers/okra. Please try this place out! YOU WON'T REGERT.

Pambazos with chipotle sauce on the Side! The chipotle is SO GOOD.

Still so good the second time around! I regret not getting another torta but I did get the pambazos this time with chipotle sauce on the side and OH MY GOSH. The chipotle sauce is SO GOOD. Whatever you do, make sure to get some on the side and you wont regret it. The sandwich itself has potato, chorizo, lettuce, and cheese. I couldn't really taste the chorizo, over the potato but the green hot sauce and chipotle sauce really made it better. I also had a couple of gulps of the horchata and it's more on the sweeter side with a tinge of cinnamon but nothing really over powering. Overall good but tasted too much of condensed milk. I still recommend this place because I still could only finish half of my meal! Worth the price!

Really great gorditas!! Tacos are small but good flavor, I had the chorizo. Service was good and it didn't take them long.

We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

But we always hear people talk about how great Joe T's is so we thought maybe we just an isolated bad experience 15 years ago. But this time, it was even worse. Maybe people don't speak unfavorably out of fear of being shamed for not praising this "institution"? We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:30 so fortunately our unpleasant experience was not further worsened with a wait. The patio is still very beautiful and umbrellas were positioned to provide ample shade. But the fly situation was very annoying and could probably be helped with the spinning devices on tables or fans spread throughout the patios. The beauty of the patio doesn't compensate enough to endure the flies. The service started out good with waters, chips/salsa brought instantly. But within 15 minutes the service rapidly declined as more customers were seated. It was very tedious to the point of annoying to get refills on our drinks. Literally within 2-3 minutes of ordering we asked our waitress to switch one of the fajita orders from chicken to beef. She initially said "oh I'm sorry but I JUST put the order in". We looked puzzled and said "ok then it shouldn't be a problem changing it?" She went on to explain that she would add the beef to our table and just switch the chicken order to another table next to us who ordered chicken that she had not put in yet. All of that sounded very bizarre but the food was correct when it was delivered our table. At the time the plates were brought we requested a side of sour cream but it didn't come. After 5-10 minutes we spotted our server and requested it from her. But we still never got the sour cream. As I was paying the tab my daughter noticed that we were charged for an extra chicken fajita. So even though the server got the beef fajita added right after we ordered, she didn't take the chicken off the bill. She adjusted it once we pointed out the error. The food was the biggest disappointment out of all of it. I will always give grace to sub par service or atmosphere if the food is great. I say this with the utmost sincerity, I've had more flavorful beef and chicken at Chipotle. The chicken was so dry and served in big chunks which made it even tougher to chew. I seriously could not detect a hint of any seasoning, not even salt. It was very hot but not like the traditional sizzling fajita hot, more like it had been sitting in a heating pan or under heat lamps. For way too long. The beef was a tad bit easier to chew than the chicken but just as bland. The queso that we ordered tasted like canned cheese sauce watered down with chicken or vegetable broth and a tablespoon of pico added. The portion sizes of the entrees, the tortillas, the pico, the guacamole were all very generous. It's just a shame that it doesn't taste good.

You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it.
