My fiance and I have been to Escada a few times now. We just moved to the area and are excited we have found a go to restaurant when we are craving pub food. The waitresses and bar tenders are super friendly, and provide excellent service. We really enjoy the food as well! My fiance likes the pizza and I usual get a sandwich with either the delicious house made potato chips, or fries. The portions are generous. Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a casual dinner night. read more

Chicken soup is delicious. I brought it home and added broccoli and potatoes. So yummy. Staff is really nice as well.

We pass by this place regularly, and so we finally decided to give it a try. The food was surprisingly good. I had the chicken francaise and mashed potatoes. The chicken was very lemony and had a great taste. I kind of wish that the chicken had more texture to it.The mashed potatoes were very good. My boyfriend had the steak with the Gorgonzola sauce and mashed potatoes. He seemed happily satisfied. The reason that I am giving it 3 stars is because the food was good, but nothing out of this world and the ambience seemed a bit out of our norm. We will give it another try. read more

My boyfriend and I went there at 7 pm on Tuesday night. The seats at the bar were all full and there were a few people at tables. We looked for a hostess or a waiter or waitress to greet us, but no one was around and it was like we were invisible, so we sat ourselves in a booth for 2. We waited about 20 minutes and no one came over, so we walked out and went to another restaurant in the area. We were greeted immediately and had a great meal with excellent service. We probably won't ever go back to Escada. Seems like if you're not a local or a "townie", they ignore you. read more

Escada is my favorite bar/restaurant. It is not typical in anyway. Escada is super clean and you can tell from the moment you walk in that the owners and staff take great pride making the customer have a great friendly experience. The bartenders are all professional and if you go there twice they remember your name and your beverage preference. What sets this establishment apart from any of their competition is there food. Anything you order off the menu is excellent. The chef who makes the food really cares about his dishes. The chicken Marsala is better than any restaurant that I have ordered from. They also do daily specials so there is always something new to try. I can't say enough good things about this place and your missing out if you don't stop in and give it a try. read more

It's not the place that's so bad .... It's the clientele . Don't let them fool u of what it is , its a bar and nothing more . If your looking for the games , spend your money elsewhere with a better , less expensive menu that has a design that doesn't use black as an accent color . read more

People think that this is just another bar in a strip mall but it's not. The food here is awesome. We started comming here for a Christmas party in December and now we like to eat here regularly. The bartender and owner is very friendly and you can tell she takes great pride in her business. When I have time to sit down for lunch Escada is always on the top of my list. The simple Italian food they have rivals The best places in providence. Their chicken parm is so crispy and juicy it sets the bar for what you will crave when you are looking for Italian food. I've been here a bunch of times but last night was the worst usually the food is very good. My wife got the penne and vodka with sausage which she enjoyed I got the veal parmigiana and it was a disappointment the plate was all water on the bottom like the pasta wasn't strained enough which made the veal soggy and the breeding just fell off and the pasta was still hard not cooked . If we didn't have somewhere to be I would have sent it back .the bartender asked do you want to wrap that cuz it looked like the whole piece of veal left but it was actually the shell of breading that fell off. So for 50$ for 2 drinks and two meals it should have been better. read more

Updated 12/3/18: So 5 years ago I gave Escada's a poor review - based on the service. I had stopped going there awhile and then in late 2016 stopped by and have been a semi-regular there since. While it's the same owner, things have improved greatly! First - the food is really good!! It seems they keep elevating their dishes and choices ~ kudos for that. The service there HAS improved, and I'd say it's decent enough. I still think sometimes the bar staff tend, on occasion, to get distracted by the regulars they know and aren't as mindful (at times) of their bar as much as they could be. But, service HAS improved much to the point where It's not really an issue for me. They staff is very friendly, and since my return I notice that the owner Amy is there a lot. Also, they bring in some GREAT music/bands! From two to four stars, it's a much better place because of these changes so make time for the food (great prices and very good) and catch some live music. read more

Doesn't take much to be a regular here. The bartenders are extremely cognizant and will remember your name/face/drink. For the other two posts.. yes, this is a bar, however they do serve an extended menu rather than your typcial burger/mozzarella sticks/wings menu. Some are a hit, some are a miss. First time I came, I had the veal parm. It was pretty damn good, considering it cost like $12 or something like that. The marinara was good, definitely not bad... and the cheese they used was fresh mozzarella... very good. The wings are great, the shrimp cocktail (i know right) is suprisingly good at $8 for 5. The last ones i had were between U12-U14, so they were a very good size and an extemely good deal considering shrimp like that usually goes for $3-$3.50 a piece. The cocktail sauce is very good as well. Drink prices are normal for a bar... Recommeneded for a nice updated bar. Only complaint is the live music is as loud as balls. The place is tiny and wide open, they don't need the live music THAT loud. read more

I think this place has an average strip mall restaurant environment It's LOUD! Can be crowded. And the food is average. It's a neighborhood local. $$ good place for a sandwich and a few drinks with friends. Not the place for a romantic date. read more

My husband and I frequent this restaurant 2 or more times a week. The specials are a great variety. We have sat at both the bar and tables. I prefer the bar because the patrons and bar staff are fun to talk to. I'm thinking this will be a good Labor day weekend there. Pretty dependable bar. I was a little hesitant my first time, given the strip-mall setting, but the inside is pretty nice, clean wooden setting with warm lighting. Mixture of blue-collar and middle class suburbanites for the crowd, lots of TVs but not overbearing. While very reasonable, especially with the specials, it's still not the cheapest place in the area(!) Service ranges from good to better, probably better towards the weekend when they beef up staff. Food has been pretty good, especially the chicken parm special - huge cut, wonderfully breaded, only 6.50 with pasta (which was a little firm for my taste, but still, 6.50). read more

I was surprised that I loved it. Food was delicious, atmosphere comfortable/clean(nothing fancy) and prices were good. I'm happy we made the trip from Massachusetts to try it. My husband had the veal park, I had a swordfish special & we split a pizza as an app. All delicious. I'm very picky but we'lll be back for sure. At escadas be prepared to be amazed I have probably tried everything on the menu. I have never been disappointed. Their calamari is award-winning and I think I know what I'm talking about. You have to try the chicken parm. The food comes out with a flair, something you might not expect. All of the bartendaz are knowledgeable, and the minute I come in, my drink of choice is in front of me, I never have to ask. Escadas has a daily menu board with specials. I recently tried the white pasta fagioli, I haven't had one this good since my wife's grandmother made it. The atmosphere is fun, great live entertainment, televisions everywhere for the sports nuts, oh wait that would be me. You can be comfortable bringing your family for lunch or dinner. My favorite dish is the buffalo chicken Caesar salad. I usually stop in after work grab a couple of Heinekens at the bar, then order two of the buffalo chicken caesar salads to go and bring them home for supper. Trust me they have everything covered. Love Escada! I love love love their penne with pink vodka sauce and it does come with a salad as well. It's always delicious. The servers are always pleasant. It does suck sometimes the amount of time you have to wait to order, get a refill, ect., but it is understandable considering when I go there is only one server who is also running the bar.
