I love the customer service here: our server explained the alcohol as we got each of our cocktails. I will admit, though, because I'm slightly hard of hearing, I missed a lot of the explanations, but that's ok. I came in a group of four and we all took sips of each other's drinks and that was really fun! Every drink was great, but I do favor my sake drink, white port/cream soda cocktail, the vermouth, and the one with the amaretto. Don't expect the menus to be the same as in this review! We were in Providence for just one night and wanted a great craft-cocktail experience. A quick search pulled up Loma with a straight five-star rating, and they def deserve every star. From our arrival, the hospitality was top tier. Warm, welcoming, unrushed. The space itself is cozy and intimate, with this beautifully curated burnt-orange vibe that feels a like a 1930s-40s Cuban lounge. Even the staff subtly matched the aesthetic and color scheme. You can tell a ton of thought went into every detail of this place. Every cocktail we tried was creative, balanced, and thoughtfully composed. Presentation was beautiful without being gimmicky. One of the hosts/servers took the time to explain each drink. We also tried the flan. It was silky, perfectly set, just sweet enough: 10/10. Once there, we learned that Loma's Latino-owned, and that heritage is subtly celebrated throughout--from their curated Salsa playlist on the high def sound system to their inclusion of Latin American flavors and ingredients in their menu. Oh and one of the details we loved most: there's no big wall of liquor bottles on display like you see in most places. They keep only a few featured spirits visible and tuck everything else away, which gives the whole space a more intimate, upscale, almost homey feel. In short: impeccable vibes, genuinely warm hospitality, gorgeous space, incredible drinks, and thoughtful details everywhere. We were very excited to come here. Unfortunately time was sparse and with the small wait we were only able to have one each. We will however definitely be back the next time we are in town. The service and ambiance was great. There were two people we interacted with which sadly I forget their names but they were both amazing and you could tell how passionate they were about their drinks/bar. My wife is currently drinking N/A cocktails and she was ecstatic with the care and passion they put into their N/A cocktail list. The next time we are back she will likely be drinking but the N/A she had was so good it may make us consider getting one. Last, we will definitely be staying for more than one each. Once seated by their gracious staff, it's time to peruse the drink menu; one which is full of innovative and incredibly delicious cocktails. They also have a section featuring certain spirits which can be ordered alone or as part of their suggested cocktail. Having ordered from both sides of the menu, I can tell you that you cannot lose either way. Once ready, the attentive staff takes your name along with your order, and believe me they won't forget either one. After expertly explaining your choice to you, you are left to enjoy your beverage in peace and to take in the stunning surroundings. This garden level (somewhat of a speakeasy) bar is a delight not only to the palette but to the eyes as well. We chose seats at the bar (only four barstools total), which I highly recommend. Sitting there gave us the chance to chat with the bartender, who shared the story behind their concept and how they create their drink recipes. My wife ordered a #11 and absolutely loved it. I ordered a #1, which is non-alcoholic. I don't drink and rarely order mocktails, but this one blew me away--crafted with as much care and creativity as their other cocktails. The space is small, seating about 25 people, but don't let that fool you. The intimate size only adds to the incredible atmosphere. The staff refer to you by name and are fully invested in making sure you pick drinks you'll love.
