She is so professional, very personable, and very informative when it comes to hair care, cuts and dyes. I see stylist Sarah Lewis, and she is AMAZING! I have been going to her for about 3 years (if not more) and she has never disappointed me. Whenever I get bored with my look she always has ideas that are different and I never worry if it will look anything sort of fabulous! Also, I can never decide what to do for my "next look" so it works out, she does all the work, and I just sit in her chair! Her technique is excellent, and she is precise! I insist my boyfriend go see her as well because I know she will give him a perfect cut! And ladies....we all notice a bad cut on the guys, so if you want your man to look classy and sophisticated PLEASE have him see sarah, believe me its the best 25$ you will ever spend. Lastly, Sarah is always keeping up to date with the latest trends which is the best quality a stylist can have. She has new colors, and color placement ideas every time I go in, she also does hair for photo shoots!!! She produces the type of work you would see in a magazine. I myself saw Tim and he just gave me a cut which was ok and the price was ok since my hair is very long. He didn't insist on styling it, as the usual stylist does, even though I said it didn't matter. I will go back to him since he's not bad, but I'm low maintenance when it comes to hair. My daughters on the other hand, saw Brittany. She was wonderful with the both of them. They're 4 and 11. She reattached my daughters feathers without any complaints. She cut and styled their hair. All for a reasonable price. I also went back after this visit for my older girls hair for a smoothing treatment and extensions. She did such a wonderful job. We will continue to see Tim and Brittany since they're both very good hair stylists and they're priced very well. read more

Liza is the sweetest person! She is a great conversation with great morals and views. Her family is beautiful and her attitude is always inspiring! She is worth the drive from Brea and the time off work to go there, (even though she ALWAYS offers to work on the weeekends to accomodate my busy sched). The salon is always stocked with my favorite products and tools and they are priced well. The girls in the front are always accurate in scheduling and calling to confirm appts. They are the best! The assistants actually know what they are doing and they stick around long term. Also, my biggest pet peeve is never a problem, the salon always sweeps up hair after they cut, nothing worse than walking in someone elses hair. This is NEVER an issue! love you girls! read more

Love the customer service at this salon. I've been coming here for approximately 6 months now. My hairstylist is Fina, she's amazing and very accommodating with me. Always willing to work with my busy schedule and squeeze me in hers. She's managed to bring my hair back to its natural healthy state with the hair treatments that she has suggested, after being completely damaged previously by stylist at a different salon. About the salon: All staff I've encountered at the salon in person and over the phone have been friendly and helpful. Good customer service is a big deal to me and I haven't had a bad experience yet. They also offer you a beverage when you're there which is a nice touch. Walk-ins are welcome but it's probably a good idea to make an appt since it's usually busy. About my stylist: I absolutely love Zoe! She's very experienced and honest. Whether or not you have pictures of the style you're looking for she can do it with no problem. She'll also give you some great tips/techniques you can use at home. I'm very indecisive when it comes to my hair but she's patient and makes changes gradually rather than cutting too much! Today was my first time here and first impression was great! It's really nice inside with plenty of comfy seating while you wait, as well as tea/coffee/water/brownies etc. I was a walk in and the receptionist was really nice, I explained that I just wanted a cut but I have naturally curly/wavy hair so I wanted someone who was familiar with that (because if you have curly hair you know what a nightmare get a cut can be). She got me an appointment with Delia Warrior and I only had to wait 30 min (not bad for a walk in). I explained to Delia that I had done a lot of color damage to my hair in the last five years and am now trying to let it grow out and get healthy again. I told her that I wanted all of the dead hair gone but my hair was long (past my shoulders by 4/5 inches) and she didn't want to take too much off in case it was too drastic a change. The hair cut turned out nice but I told her I might want it shorter because there's still a bit of the dead hair. She was nice about it and said if in a week I still want it shorter to come back (free of charge) and she'd cut more :) The cut was $50 which seems a little high but I also don't go to salons much so that may just be me lol read more

My experience was fine. the front staff was friendly and they provide complimentary beverages. My hairstylist was not very friendly and did not seem excited to cut my hair at all. I've been looking for a place for a long time (still) trying to give me tips or recommendations for my hair and she didn't really offer anything. It seemed like she just wanted to get me done and out of there. The other employees appeared to be a lot easier to talk to and had regular customers. I don't plan on going back even if I can get a different person. read more

My old stylist moved and I've been looking for someone new for a few years with no luck. I work in the area so I took a chance and made an appointment at Escape Salon. My stylist was Lestat and he was fantastic! The last stylist I'd seen had really messed up my hair. My brunette "balayage" was really just orangey copper colored ends. And she'd cut "layers" that were just haphazard chunks that didn't blend at all. Worst of all she really damaged my healthy hair when she colored it. My ends were dry and frizzy and felt awful. Lestat spent time really talking to me about what I wanted and analyzing my hair. The correction he did to my color is amazing. It's now the rich, dimensional color I was looking for. Best of all, no new damage! We talked about the best course of action and what I was comfortable with and he took about 3 inches off my length to really get my hair healthy and soft again. He also gave me gorgeous, long layers that give my hair bounce and movement. I couldn't be happier with how my hair looks! I'm so happy I took a chance on this salon and that my appointment was with Lestat! He's great and I will definitely be back again. I think I finally found my new regular stylist! read more

Lola was the sweetest ever to me and my son, and she took her time to make sure that my hair was exactly the way I wanted it. She did a better job than I could have asked for. I had a disaster of a hair trial for my wedding and Nilo and her team at Escape Salon came to our rescue! I had set it up in advance with another hair stylist for myself and my 3 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done as well my mom and grandma to get makeup done so when the trial didn't go well, two weeks before the wedding, I was in a panic. Nilo came as highly referred from a close friend of mine so I called right away and she was able to book us all and even get my trial done in the next couple of days from the phone call. She made me feel at ease and did it even better than what I had in mind. All of us were very pleased with how it all came out and how comfortable they made us feel. They're welcoming and friendly. I cannot recommend Zendra at Escape Salon enough! I wish I'd found her during my first year at the Claremont Colleges -- I would have been looking great my entire time there! Zendra did my hair for the first time during my senior year. Amazing service and styling every time! I scratch my scalp when stressed out, and she's always gentle while relaxing. Very happy when I leave every time! My hair was looking AMAZING for graduation even though I had my hair done on Thursday and graduation was on Saturday! In the photo, she did a sew-in track on each side that blended perfectly. If I can find a way to add a picture, I will. She's very great to talk to, and a great person overall in addition to being a stylist. I always leave there feeling better! I never knew my hair could look so great, and this was after visiting other salons back home too. Excellent service, no long waits, and always professional. I have been going with Amy for the past two years. Was happy and pleased with her until my last visit. I went in for a touch up ended up a lighter shade of brown instead of blonde to match my highlights. When I went back so she can fix it, it still looked crap. Don't know if she was having a bad day but I paid 140.00 to look like if I had paid 60.00. What she should have done was give me my money back. DON'T NOT GO TO AMY!!!!! She doesn't care for her clients... She only cares about the money and is over price. I recently went to Aveno Salon in Pasadena, they did a wonderful job, used natural organic products and did I mention I paid the same. read more
