Quality/Quantity - Introduced our guest to "Escape Rooms" and he had so much fun. Who Stole Mona - Easier than expected. But we chose an easy one as this was our guest's first time. But I was hoping for multiple rooms and it being a little harder. We had a good time, and more importantly, our guest did. Atmosphere - Cool location, good size. Good size lobby. Clean restrooms. 8 different themed rooms. Open 7 days a week, see my picture. Yelp's hours differ slightly. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good. Simple friendly instructions. Helped us when needed (did not need much help). The website was very user friendly, so we booked online. Price - $130 for 4 people. Owner Comment - Congrats on your brand's success since 2014, and your location's success since 2023.

One of the best escape rooms I've done, had so much fun with the 7 deadly sins and Batman escape rooms. Josh did a great job, he explained everything thoroughly and we will definitely be back to try the other rooms. Great activity for couples or group of friends for

My family & I had a lot of fun doing the Batman room together. My kids were excited they were able to participate as this was their first in person escape room they've done with us. As a Batman fan I liked all of the details they added into this room, it really did feel like you were part of the Gotham world. Everything was set up very well and flowed nicely throughout out game session. We almost completed the room but got stuck on a puzzle in the third room. When our game host came in, I had asked her about the puzzle we got stuck on & showed her what we had written down on the writing tablet they provide and asked her to show me how it was supposed to be completed. It seemed like we had the right answer, it just didn't work/let us move onto the next phase of the room. Didn't seem like she was sure either why it hadn't worked. Either way it was still a lot of fun and I would return to do one of the other rooms, I like the large selection of themes they have to choose from.

Loved all the easter eggs if you're a SciFi geek, especially the Red Dwarf reference. The puzzles were logical and internally consistent with the story. Kinda seemed like escape rooms would be the worst thing on the planet for me. But a friend loves the cyberpunk-esque vibes, and I was going to swallow my hatred to try my first escape room here with the Immersive Machine. I leave the experience virtually speechless. (No spoilers here, so read away!) Why it was great for two people new to escape rooms: -You can book the place solo. You don't need to be partnered with strangers who are going to speed run the place. -There is no clock anywhere. Time flies (serously, wow, it went so fast), but you aren't feeling rushed. -I was worried about it, but there aren't any "HOLYSHIT GO FAST YOU'RE GONNA DIE" vibes like some of the "escape to live" ones I've been told about. There's an alarm going off when you first get there, but it's like, a casual alarm that just reminds you that it's going off every 5 minutes or so with a light "beep". Like a friendly alarm. Nothing in here is on a time limit, constantly flashing, or constantly making noise. Nothing is designed for a panic response. This was huge for me. -The gamemaster's involvement is fluid and very immersive in the universe (but they're not in the room), so if he sees you're struggling, he steps in, in-character, to gently guide you without making you feel stupid. -Puzzles make sense, but they're also just really fun. It was a lot more of paying attention to the room's details and exploring the space than trying to solve a Rubik's cube or a slide puzzle. There were a few moments that required some actual hard, focused thought, but most of it was trying to pull together details of the space and alternative universe you're in (that are all easily available if you look around again). -There is nothing to memorize or "called back" throughout the place. You don't need to remember something that was told to you 50 minutes ago or else you can't finish it; everything you need is always easily accessible, and all the puzzles are "solve it and move on". We started by taking tons of notes on our phones just in case, and we abandoned that quickly since it wasn't necessary. -You mostly stay in the same areas, so you can put down waters or drinks and take breaks as needed. It doesn't cut you off of any of the areas, so you don't have to stress about constantly moving. -We finished it, two person, in under the average time, despite never having done an escape room in our lives. Why it was great, overall, in general: -The "alternate universe" makes it a lot more fun. At one point, you'll get to see a calendar the team made, complete with holidays and other details specific to this universe that doesn't exist in ours. It's these small touches that made me super excited (and sad I couldn't just sit and read them). -The gamemaster (Randy, I think?)'s personality was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly, and getting into his character really made it easier for us to feel okay getting into them too. -I'm not super into LARPing or playing pretend, but if you wanted to, there are free costumes and the over-the-top vibe of the gamemaster makes you feel less silly about trying it for yourself. -There's a little personified "friend" that pretty much everyone is going to fall in love with. I now think I love escape rooms, but I'm not sure any other escape room will ever compare to The Immersive Machine. There's no way for me to go but down; there's no way any other escape room will be as good as Immersive Machine was. It entirely converted me, and now I think escape rooms are the coolest thing ever. I see why it has a straight 5 stars on every review platform AND wins annual awards from the escape room social network. This is amazing.

My phone call on July 4, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM with an employee named Danielle raised multiple red flags. I purchased a Groupon and paid the additional 7.92 required. Immediately afterward, I received a message stating my card would be charged 97.52. I called the Mesa location because this was a serious concern and needed clarification. From the start, Danielle's tone was not friendly and immediately made me feel as if I was bothering her. Her attitude shifted quickly into clear irritation, and it became obvious she did not want to deal with my questions. She offered almost no explanation for the 97.52 charge and showed no willingness to help me understand why the system displayed that amount. The more I tried to get clarity, the more her tone escalated into frustration and hostility. While asking simple questions about what I needed to bring or print, her frustration became even more obvious. When I calmly asked her not to speak to me with an attitude, she hung up on me. I called back, and she openly admitted she hung up with no apology, no concern, and no attempt to correct her behavior. The lack of accountability and disregard for basic customer service was a major red flag. I have been in customer service for 34 years and have never treated anyone the way I was treated today. Perhaps she was annoyed because she is tired of receiving calls about the billing, but that should motivate the company to immediately fix the incorrect and confusing message about how much money will be charged to a credit card. Ignoring a known issue and taking it out on customers is unacceptable. I will use my Groupon because it is already paid for, but after that, we will not return. There are plenty of escape rooms in the area that treat customers with respect and professionalism. This location made it clear they do not value either. If this is how they handle a simple phone call, I would not trust them with anything more serious. This interaction was a clear warning sign, and no business should expect repeat customers after an experience like this.
