I love how much variety is available here and that it's all vegan. I always feel spoiled for choice, I never know what to get because it all looks so good. There's a decent amount of seating inside. Fries are usually just "fine" or "good," but theirs? They're very good. The owner is incredibly kind, and their baked goods are fantastic -- especially the peanut butter brownie, which I can't recommend enough. Their soft serve is also really good, and I'm excited to try some of their candy next time. I even took a non-vegan friend there, and he really enjoyed the food. Beyond the food, the team is so nice, and they have a little vegan market with some really cool products. I bought about half a pound of vegan bacon from them, and now I'm making all kinds of breakfast sandwiches at home. If you're in the area, whether you're vegan or not, Sweet Hazel is a must-visit. Carlucci's was conveniently next door. Upon entering the bakery, we were greeted with a smile and the fragrance of freshly-baked bread. The coffee was reasonably priced and quite strong, perfect for our long drive ahead. Alas I did not take any photos, but I went with a blackberry lavender latte while my husband went with their cold brew. We even bought a cannoli to bring home, and it survived perfectly during the drive. We eagerly devoured it the next day and it paired beautifully with our charcuterie from Caputo's. I would love to try more bakery items from Carlucci's the next time we visit SLC!
