My first morning office and it was very nice. I stayed here four hours, arriving at 7am when they opened and leaving at around 11am. I know it was that long because the limit on the parking meters is two hours and I moved from one in the front to one in the back. Inside, comfortable seating and a fantastic coffee. I started off with a simple cortado that was excellent. Just the right mix of coffee and steamed (not foamed!) milk. The second drip coffee was also rich and delicious. The owner and the employees were horrible. I witness someone getting yelled at over a reorder... And it was my first time being there. The owner whose name is Elizabeth was really immature and toxic and very unprofessional for a business owner. She literally went out the door yelling at the poor girl and harassed her over her reorder notes having capitalize words on it when it was their system that capitalized their words not the poor girls fault... What kind of business owner does that? Definitely won't recommend this place to anyone. I also seen a roach in there.. a few of them, so be careful. read more

Food is great and worth the wait. Service is another issue. Have eaten here many times and every time we ask for food and drinks fixed for here (as in drinks in mugs and not to go cups) they put in to go cups. Defeats idea of coffee shop experience and dining in. read more

Drinks were fine and the food was okay however the wait time was ridiculous. We waited for over 30 minutes and when we asked, we were told "don't come here if you are in a hurry." Minutes after receiving our food, a staff member yelled to the cafe, "we are kicking you out, we're closed" and we were followed to the door where a different staff member locked the door the moment we exited. Very poor customer service over a situation that could have been resolved by a simple apology. I met the owner at the corner pub in town and I can tell she is a great person. She gave me a coupon for a free cup of coffee and told me to come in sometime. Now I end up at this place once or twice a week for a top quality coffee beverage (been trying them all) and to catch up with staff who are starting to become friends. I've had a few breakfast foods and pastrys and was very pleased. Overall GREAT PLACE, highly recommend. Sometimes they are a bit busy, but cut them some slack and ENJOY THE ART while you wait. This is my "goto" spot in Barre for a good coffee or cappuccino, a breakfast sandwich and a bit of Wi-Fi. The cappuccino is very good and these are no ordinary breakfast sandwiches! About 3 times the size of McDonald's egg mcmuffin with really good cheese, good bread, a tasty egg, and with a sizeable piece of ham as an option. Nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended! read more

Espresso Bueno is a cute little hipster coffee shop right on the Main Street in Barre. When I walked in there was no one inside, and I had to wait awhile until someone came to take my order. I think the barista was in the kitchen talking with someone, and didn't hear me come in. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich and maple latte to go, which were both outstanding. The sandwich was made on what I believe was garlic bread which really helped to bring it to the next level flavor wise. read more

My favorite place to go on Sunday's. They have such a wide variety of items on their menu for food and beverages. My personal favorite is the mocha latte. They have board games around the shop for all ages which is a great touch! Very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Went for a scenic ride through Vermont and stopped in Barre for lunch. We discovered Espresso Bueno and it was a good little find. My wife and kids had a BLT and really loved it especially the bacon. I had the Southwest Turkey Melt and it was delicious. I also had an ice coffee and it too was delicious. If your in the area, it's a must check out. read more

This place is small with only two tables and seats along a counter by the windows. The tables were taken so I sat by counter along the window. The counter was gross! There was dirt from the indoor plants all over it, the counter was cracked, and there were cobwebs on the windows. I could see why people took the tables. It was uncomfortable to sit there. The first time we went in, the barista pulled the best shot my fellow coffee drinker had ever had. I got a cortado, which was also good. Next day, we came again with my brother, who enjoyed a chilled cider with spices. Hadn't been to Jazzyeoke in a while so I went with my fiance and some friends! The first disappointment was THEY HAD NO NACHOS!!!! We just about died we were so disappointed! When we go to any evening event there, we ALWAYS GET NACHOS! EVERYONE DOES! That's their signature dish for evening events. Not sure if the owner is trying to lose business, but this could be a good way to start. I have loved coming here and seeing the regular Jazzyeoke people, but maybe I should start going to the one on the 3rd Saturday in Waterbury instead! I hate making it about food, but those nachos make you want to come back! So I sang a few songs ( but I wasn't at my peak performance due to Nacho deprivation) and tried not to pout like a little fat kid dreaming of chocolate cake, only to have it snatched right from under their nose! The crowd is older and very eclectic! Some can barely carry a tune, but they really don't give a shit ( cats ), and neither did I~. I had an okay time, but I really wasn't into it (the snow storm had nothing to do with it)!. The crowd wasn't as big, probably because they didn't have the NACHOS! Got a nice pour-over and enjoyed sitting in this comfy quiet coffee shop while I read the paper. They were playing nice music and I had a lot of seating choices in mid-afternoon ranging from comfy couches, normallish tables and a big counter-type area where I could spread out and read the paper. My coffee was good, served in a paper cup instead of a mug (my only complaint), and the price was right. Did not try the baked goods but I will next time. I went into Espresso Bueno in Barre, VT to get an iced coffee. Was very surprised that the girl at the window where you give your order was not wearing a mask or gloves. The top window is plexi glass, the bottom nothing. You could wait inside in a tiny waiting space big enough for 2 people. (no social distancing!) or outside. At first I waited inside as there was nobody else there until the other girl came with coffees to take outside also without a mask or gloves, and not practicing social distancing. At this point I waited outside for my iced coffee. When the girl finally did come out with it, she wasn't wearing a mask or gloves and handed me my drink with an unwrapped straw that had a drop of coffee on it! I believe if you are working in a restaurant of any type it is mandatory that you take proper precautions such as wearing a mask. Gloves are not a necessity as long as proper hand washing is practiced. Although the coffee was very good, I will never go to this establishment again because of my experience. read more

I had the opportunity to pay an early morning visit to Espresso Bueno recently. I ordered a mocha latte and a breakfast sandwich. I was very happy with the delicious mocha latte. It was joined after a brief wait by an awesome breakfast sandwich of egg and turkey. My food was enhanced by the great atmosphere of the cafe. The music was perfect for the quiet morning energy. It is obviously a place for many people to stop by and get their morning coffee, as I saw the baristas greet the regular customers. I will definitely stop here the next time I am going through Barre and need a great coffee. read more

If you want to wait 20 min for your drink and have it taste like city water, go here. They made my chai latte with only water no milk. Um what. There was two girls working. Last time I was there was on December 16, 2015. They had what I needed on a dreary day, a very nice cappuccino and some pretty good baked goods. I got there late in the afternoon so anything croissant-like was gone. I think I was left with the unhappy looking muffins. Their sad blueberry eyes went straight to my heart and I bought two. Then I ate them. This perked my spirits up at least. The vibe in the place was modern, yet comfortable. I seem to recall at least one or two couches. There's lots of space and seating. Good place to hang out. Update 2018. I have since been back about three times since the original review, during the day and in the evening. They still make a good cappuccino and the pastry selection has improved. It's a nice place to hang out, maybe even take a nap, because the lighting is so low inside. read more

Burnt coffee, small portions and you'll be lucky if they get your order correct. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because my tiny panini was decent. I ordered an iced americano from the menu. When my drink came out the barista said my ice coffee was ready. I told her I had ordered an iced ameicano, and she informed me that they were the same thing. I also ordered a Brie and apple panini with walnuts. I decided to add turkey for the extra dollar. When my panini came out, it had no turkey. The waitstaff took it back and apologized.
