I was just picking up after a long day so anything I say you can blame on me...haha. The service was great, so friendly and warm I wish I had eaten in house...the pizza I got was delicious however I think it would have been even better just out of the oven. The Caesar salad could use a bit of excitement seemed a bit ordinary and honestly why not do something a bit fantastic with your salads. As I walked back to the car I could see what looked like a great outdoor space for dining and a cool little bar attached to that. Perhaps I am wrong, because I never got that far, but I aim to go back and check it out again. We are Santa Fe residents, but this is the first time we have tried Esquina Pizza. In short, the service, food and ambience is stellar We were immediately greeted with big smiles from the owner and our server, which is not always common. They were both so sweet! We ordered an amazing light red wine, which was a perfect complement to the pizzas we ordered. We started with a Caesar salad was amazing, with just the right amount of lemon and let us with delightfully crisp and fresh. We had a Margherita pizza and a pizza with sausage and Calabrian peppers, and they were both scrumptious. We will definitely be back very soon! read more

i hate writing negative reviews. alas. this pizza's crust is *great*. that's the best i have to offer. my san marzano sauce, which takes approximately 37 seconds to make, is vastly superior. succulent, even. for $24, you would think that the sausage pizza would have more than a 1" piece of sausage per piece. but the most heartbreaking part was that it had almost no flavor... except in that *one bite* of each slice. I'm so sad. i love paloma, and i think it's the same people. but they aren't "hitting" here yet. for that much money, i won't be trying it again unless someone else is buying. i maintain that the best tasting pizza in the 'fe is Hawt, at Low and Slow. read more

Honestly one of my top pizza places in town literally one of the few I liked... I've nearly had them all besides the fast food spots.. I'm super picky when it comes to pizza and there is literally only two spots I'd hit for pizza... Dine in was so dope too.. The vibes were it... Cool ass people.. Dope tunes blasting... I actually used FETCH to to pick up my pizza and have it delivered to my home, and even the Fetch driver told me... "Have you been to this place? I never knew it existed. Food is delicious. Wine not so much. Pour was for a 1/2 glass but we were charged for a full. When I asked the waiter about it after seeing the table next to us get served a proper pour, he just said he gave us a full pour and brought the check immediately. He didn't ask if we wanted dessert. This place is THISCLOSE to being the best pizza in Santa Fe, at least if you're looking for authentic Neapolitan style and not the Domino's/Little Caesar's abominations that are so prevalent. Their Achille's Heel is consistency. The first time I was there, the pizza was an 8 out of 10. The second time, it was worse (pic below) as it was burnt. The third time, back to 8 out of 10. Fourth time, 5 out of 10. You get the idea. The main culprits are either too burnt or FAR too many of those dough bubbles on the pizza. Sometimes they are near the outer crust, but the most recent time they were throughout the entire pizza. And, of course, where there is a dough bubble, the sauce and toppings slide off so you end up with what looks like a diseased pizza: not very attractive at all! I don't know if it's the dough ingredients, the way it's hand tossed, or what, but real Neapolitan pizza does not have those dough bubbles all over it. Oh, and the garlic bread, while very tasty, has been completely raw inside the 2 times I have purchased it. Again, this place could easily be the best in Santa Fe if they just got a few things together. read more
