In these times of coronavirus I purposely did not choose a location that also did employment drug testing or any other testing that might indicate a lot of people coming in and out. This is a small office located in a shared medical business building. The parking lot is a little tight but parking is free. I appreciated their online check in, which somehow was already done for me by the lab employees five minutes before I arrived. When you enter the office building, the Labcorp office is on the left side. The office is pretty tiny, with just a partition separating the collection area and the "lobby" which is really just two chairs and a small table where you can sign in. Aside from the two techs, I was the only person there at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning. Score! I was seen immediately and out the door in about 10 minutes. The techs were alright--not super nice and not rude, just alright. And I do appreciate that the one who drew my blood stepped away from me to give me 6' of distance when we were finished. A good location for a quick blood draw.

There was a person there, on her phone with her back turned to the window. This tells me all I need to know about how lazy this facility is. The audacity to not acknowledge someone at the door and explain " yeah sorry we are closed for X, Y and Z. OR better yet post it on your website OR on the door. PATHETCI. A complete waste of my time. This person is on the clock and should be fired.

Their answering machine says they do them from 9-3 and are closed from 12-1 for lunch. I told her they should put that on the answering machine since I drove all that way. Places do not get this bad unless it's management and leadership that absolutely does not care about patients. That said the employees here are also apathetic and honestly hateful. It's like they hate you for needing blood work. Check-in is chaotic, wait times are a fiction that they invent to sound good but are not reflective of reality or your real wait time whatsoever. Appointments are meaningless. Check-in is absurdly, complicated and annoying, requiring you to re-enter so much personal information that you already entered and that they already know. I asked a simple question at the front desk - there was no one there at first, so I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up, though that person completely ignored me, so I had to wait another five minutes for someone who actually cared. They didn't care very much, but they at least acted like I existed, which is a plus for this location. My question was do you even have a lab order on file for me? They said we don't have that information. The place that's supposed to perform the lab work somehow doesn't have the ability to look up if there's a lab order for me, that's what the front desk person told me. That is how useless they are. That is how hateful they are. That is how much they do not want to help. Do not go to this location. There are other locations if you want to use LabCorp that are not much further, and are so so much better. This location is the worst medical experience I have ever had in my life, and I've lived long enough to have had some pretty awful ones.

But, for the sake of feedback to the management if they care, this place is so chaotic. The signage is terrible, it's not clear where you are supposed to wait, it's confusing whether they want you to check in in person or use one of the kiosks, nobody looks up to help you (it actually feels like they are trying to avoid you if I'm being completely honest) and it's just all in all a messy experience. It's like this every single time. I'm in healthcare myself and I feel like I'm able to navigate things a little easier than some people, but when elderly people, cancer patients, overwhelmed people, etc., are trying to get their blood drawn, adding this kind of stress to their already stressful life is just unnecessary. Having said that, the two times I've had to be here in the last few months, at least the actual phlebotomists were competent and kind. I do have to say that nobody seems to be enjoying their employment here. They are professional, but if you look around, no one seems happy to be there.

I came for the second appointment. They attempted to set up a Washington finger printing. I explained it was an out of state fingerprinting. The cost went up from 47 to 147 dollars. I attempted that service. My first name has only an initial. Their system was unable to accept such. The attitude was not one of apology, but of contempt - to just get me to leave. That I did. I called Certifix. They took my info and payment over the phone in 5 minutes. I paid, then went to a UPS Store for fingerprints. That process took ten minutes. Done. Use Cerifix.

Deedee is a superwoman both the nurse and front desk lady but she does more than that. So, even though the wait time can get long sometimes it's still a good experience and you will be able to get all your needs met or they will refer you to a specialist. I live nearby so I can highly recommend this clinic for local primary care.

When I arrived, the desk lady was most cordial and helpful and while I was talking to her a gent came up and assured me they would get to me as soon as a room opened. Not sure if it was my age (78) or what but that was nice. I waited about 15 min and was in to a room where a young lady did all the normal. The doctor was exceptionally thorough and concerned with my condition. We discussed and settled on next steps. I was really impressed with the doctor's care and I've had plenty of experience on the patient side of the practice of medicine. Wish she was my primary.
