The salad bar was not the best. Everything looked fresh but the options were limited. The service was fantastic. I have been to this restaurant many times. With the remodel of a salad bar it has a very nice new feel. The drinks are always great and the meat is top quality. I've been to many of the other Brazilian steakhouses throughout the area and I can say the quality and cook of the meat at Estampa Gaucha is the best. Service was very friendly and attentive. The steak could use a little more salt. The price and variety, I would prefer Fogo de Chao in Orlando --- more variety, but my favorite cuts were here. The salad bar for those that care isn't as extensive as Fogo or Texas de Brazil. That being said, it was in town and it was still pretty good. read more

I wish this could be a better review. I planned a family gathering, 14 people. I was told due to the size of the party, I would need to sign a contract and pay a fee per person if we had to cancel for any reason. I asked if 7pm was too late for seating and was told no, that they will be prepared for a party that large and we should be set. We arrived and were seated. The only really bright spot in the evening was our waiter, Alexander. He is why my rating wasn't one star. Despite being assured our experience would not be rushed, and being 2 hours before close, it was still obviously understaffed for a party this large. 1 - we had to ask 3 times for the limonada drink 2 - only 9 items made the rounds, vs the 14 we were promised 3 - there was a produce sticker in the chopped chimichurri. I showed the "manager" and he just whisked my plate away. Didn't apologize, didn't do or say anything. 4 - the food was sub-average. Several pieces of meat were very dry, and you either got it super rare or super well-done. There wasn't anything in between. 5 - everything felt super rushed and not at all the special experience I was hoping to treat my family with. 6 - our waiter had to make our desserts because the "dessert chef" had already left. 7 - the front of the restaurant was very, very slick. They did have a caution sign out, but on a rainy night like it was, someone should have been keeping an eye on the entrance and wiping it down when it was wet. I paid over $120 per person when you account for tax and tip, because we had such a large party, I had to order a "package". I went with the Rose package. It was not worth it. The final bill was over $1700 all told. I would have been completely happy spending that much had the food and service been worth it. This was more like Golden Coral food, with a really, really good waiter. It's a common occurrence for our family to get together for big dinners, but in the future, it decidedly will NOT be at Estampa Gaucha. read more

I have been going here with my husband for 5 years now, almost once a month ever since. I cannot sing the praises of this place enough! It is always so consistent with above and beyond service! If you love steak, LOTS of steak, with chicken, pork, lamb, fresh veggies and fruits, cheese bread, salads, charcuterie... the list doesn't end and that JUST the food! Their wine list is vast, with beyond incredible classic drinks like the Caipirinha, and delicate desert drinks and coffees. The manager, Javier always takes care of us while the rest of the staff is so polite and on point. ALWAYS! Truly the best service we've had from anywhere in all of Brevard. And we eat out...A lot. My wife and I went shortly after they opened. I had gone to a Charascaria in Brazil which was excellent. There was only two things on the menu: the salad bar which we could afford and the meat skewers which were incredibly expensive. So we ate the so-so salad bar. So my wife and I are now in Melbourne Florida in this quaint Lil AirBnB and we wanted a nice dinner. Found this Brazilian restaurant on YELP with high reviews and as it was less than a 30-minute drive, off we go. So it's located in the Melbourne mall but it does have its own entrance and I had made reservations for a 6 pm seating. We are greeted at the door with a smile and led to our table. They explain how everything works and to flip the card green when you want meats and red when you want them to stop till you are ready again. My wife was in love with their salad bar which was fresh and I liked the cheese and meats available as well as their crab salad. Then the floodgates began with the meats; picanha, NY strip, filet mignon, chicken, sausage, house special, lamb, and pork. I only opted for the beef cuts and a Lil bacon-wrapped chicken. They were all so tender and delicious and they didn't have any major seasoning which was great, you could taste the meat. My wife did opt for some of her selections to be cooked well and well done. I think my expectations were larger than my actual stomach as even my wife was astonished with how little I ate. The mashed potatoes, polenta, and fried banana sides were good as was the cheese bread. We then opted for dessert and I selected the key lime pie with a cappuccino and my wife for the strawberry shortcake with coffee. The staff was awesome and so very helpful but both my wife and I really enjoyed speaking with Olga who was their newest addition to their staff and her smile was awesome. If you have never had this type of meal, and you like meat, you should try it. They bring round meat slow cooked on flame with only salt for seasoning. Filet, sirloin, skirt, so many options. The salad bar is loaded with high end ingredients. I don't do salad bars, but this is an exception. Make sure you try the cheese rolls too, they are fabulous! read more

Estampa Gaucha (which I will shorthand simply to Estampa for the remainder of this review) is the only Brazilian steakhouse (that I know of) in Brevard County. For those who've eaten at Texas Y Brazil in Orlando, same concept. Located at the main entrance (mid-south entrance) of Melbourne Square Mall, Estampa has all the makings of a upscale all-you-can-eat steakhouse. Starting with the interior and cleanliness, the decor mirrors that of a rich hacienda or ranch. The centerpiece is the huge oven in the kitchen in which patrons can see spears of meat cooking on a rotisserie. Cleanliness is up-to-par with most restaurants of the same calibur and the same goes for the service. Friendly and accommodating on average with other restaurants, nothing like Chick-fil-A. The food is where I will spend most of my review on because it is easily the centerpoint for why any patron visits this restaurant especially with how much money they will be spending. First off, there is a traditional menu but people usually go for the salad bar or the unlimited meats. For $20, the salad bar is not lacking as it does have a fair share of meats and soups too. The endless meats off the spears is about $30 ro $60 depending on the time of day. Take note that brunch and lunch is significantly less on options. No seafood and only a select set of meats available. Dinner (the pricier option) has all the meats and seafood. The only issue I have (outside of the price) is that certain cuts are just the same flavor. It can be hard to discern differences in texture especially if all the meats have been cooked on rotisserie. Ultimately, a great place to check out every once in awhile. I will give Estampa four out of five stars as it is the standard (as it is the first if you don't consider Rodrizio's Grill) for Brazilian steakhouses here in Brevard County (that I know of). read more

Compared to other restaurants the salad bar was very limited. Although everything that was there was very fresh. We tried almost every cut of meat that came around and the New York strip was by far the best I've ever had. Sadly, the bacon wrapped chicken, pork and other cuts of beef were just very, very dry. It is not often I am at the Melbourne mall but when I ask I have looked to see how many people might be eating at Estampa Gauche formerly Rodizio Grill. Every time I look in the window the number of patrons here seems very low. Is it the food, the price, the service, what gives? Last night we agreed to give it a try and find out for ourselves. We stopped by and had a great time. The salad bar is plentiful but I found the national dish to be an after thought. I make an excellent one at home. The meat came one after another and everything was hot, expertly cooked, and delicious. The sausages were just as I liked them. For dessert was the Carmalized pineapple. Only lacking item about this place is the lack of protein choices being served on the skewers. Other similar establishments had many more, usually 10-12, choices of protein available to choose from. Between the salad bar and the constant supply of meat, if you leave here hungry, it's your own fault!! Not only is there a huge variety, the quality is top-notch. The thing about the meats is how they're all perfectly seasoned - very savory indeed. Normally I'm not a big fan of lamb but I decided to try it here & I'm very glad I did...absolutely delicious! The other thing that's absolutely outstanding is the service. Everyone is very attentive and polite! We told them when we first arrived about our little celebration and after we finished our meals, we were presented with a large slice of cheesecake with strawberry sauce as a "congratulations" from Estampa!! I would like to preface this with: I know I shouldn't set my expectations high for a restaurant located in a mall, but the price I paid for subpar food and service though is no excuse. 1. The salad bar was dismal. Wilting lettuce, waxy looking cheese, and stale croutons. 2. The cheesy bread (a fan favorite) was rock hard and difficult to eat without a knife. 3. The meat was okay but, more often than not, every piece was over cooked and tough. 4. The service was mediocre. The wait staff would serve every table around us and then turn on their heel to walk away from our table. This made getting prime cuts of meat impossible. We had to ask multiple times for sides and such. We felt forgotten and ignored surrounded by several well-serviced tables. 5. No one checked our table for 15-20 minutes for the check that we had to go up to the hostess to ask her to get a waiter to bring it to us. This was a miserable experience and I'm severely disappointed. I would rather pay for the extra gas and spend the extra time to drive to Orlando to go to a better Brazilian steakhouse for quality food and service. read more

Located right off the entrance of the Melbourne Square Mall, the restaurant is very elegant without being ostentatious, it offers an outdoor seating area that is truly relaxing, and the rest is simply incredible. Brazilian steakhouses are known for the variety in cuts of beef, chicken, and pork, they're known for their generous salad offerings, and even for their desserts. This place, however, takes it to another level. I think I tried just about everything they have to offer - sirloin, filet minion, skirt steak, ribs, rib-eye, New York, along with chicken, sausage, pork medallions, and pork ribs - all of it was superb (the filet melted in your mouth). I started off with a salad that I got from the most beautifully presented salad bar I have ever seen. The offerings were vintage Brazilian steakhouse norms - fresh vegetables such as broccoli, green, yellow, and red bell peppers, zucchini, and many others that really are too much to list. For dessert they brought around the dessert plate we all ended up trying either the chocolate lava cake, chocolate mousse cake, key lime pie, or creme brulee. The key lime pie and creme brulee were head-and-shoulders above the rest, but the other items were good as well. Now, the service - impeccable. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left we were treated so nicely and literally watched over hand-and-foot. We had no want for water, drinks, clean plates, food, or anything else we asked for. It was an experience I haven't had in quite some time. Ate here with a party of 9 a week ago for a birthday dinner. The outside of the place looks beautiful as it is in the Melbourne mall but you can see it from outside. The inside looks nice as well. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service is phenominal as is the case with most Brazilian steakhouses. If anyone is not aware of how it works here, you pay one price for and all-you-can-eat meat, and other foods. You get a card, one side green the other red. If you leave the green side up waitstaff will constantly come to you with cooked meat. Red side up they leave you alone. There were many different cuts of meat to choose from. They include but not limited to prime rib, skirt steak, roast/london broil, Ribs, Filet mignon, chicken, sausage and other meats. I found the chicken a bit dry, the ribs not that great and the sausage not that good. I did like the filet mignon and skirt steak. They served Brazilian cheese bread which was great. The fried Polenta was very good and the mashed potatoes were good. There is a salad bar you can help yourself to as well. That was very good with plenty of choices and fresh. I was a bit disappointed in most of the meats served. I was impressed about the sides and salad bar. I ordered sangria with my meal and it was ok. Each glass of sangria costs $13.75 so if you have 3 (I had a designated driver) you just paid more for them than your dinner. Not worth the price. I have to admit that I am a little biased as I don't love THAT MUCH meat eating over and over like I did in years past. I think the place overall was a bit pricey for the food. If you have never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and you enjoy eating meat then try this place. Next time I come here I will just do the salad bar price and enjoy chicken salad with the array of veggies they had. I had a piece of cheesecake and it was excellent. the other dessert choices looked delicious and I was told it was.
