On my way back from Bodega Bay, we decided to stop at this charming Cafe, just off of Highway-1. A small Cafe, but plenty of seating. Clean and comfortable. Our waitress. There's just one waitress. Extremely nice and friendly. We got to the Cafe at 1:30 P.M., and I was thankful to be given the option of breakfast or lunch. I chose breakfast and my partner, lunch. I always love small family owned and operated businesses (restaurants) and feel the majority of them serve the best meals. I had cream beef on homemade biscuits, with 2 sunny-side up eggs. My partner, grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings. I loved the onion rings as they were made with real onions and not that fake onion you find in most fastfood restaurants. Before taxes and tip, my meal was $18, and my partner's $17. I will definitely recommend this Cafe as you're driving up or down Highway-1.

This is a cute little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a country cottage vibe. I was sat immediately and waited on promptly. I ordered the Sonoma omelet with a side of bacon, and the Estero iced coffee. The coffee was yummy, and the omelet was fluffy with lots of fresh veggies. This is one of my favorite brunch spots.

Stop at this little cafe for a coffee on our way to get seafood. Glad we stop, their drip coffee was one of the best I had. Small cafe, sits about 20 and a few tables outside. I will come by for their breakfast because the inside of the restaurant smell great. Lots of nice artworks on the wall. Service was excellent!!

What a cute little diner/restaurant. Amazing local artist's art work, peppermill, and pizza cutters were neatly displayed for you to purchase. Went for breakfast/brunch on Veterans Day. The waitstaff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered: lavender mimosa - served in a cute mason jar Breakfast salad with an added fried chicken - tasty and light but filling. Chicken was seasoned well. The crispy potatoes went perfectly and the house dressing was simple but so delicious. Blue cheese mushroom bacon burger - super yummy! Bun was toasted but still soft inside. Perfectly cooked meat and mushrooms and cheese was well balanced. I love the fact the mostly everything was locally sourced! Can't wait to try the sister restaurant in Sebastopol!

While visiting Sonoma County, we stopped by Estero Café for breakfast--and what a great find! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was so delicious I almost ordered a second one! Believe it or not, it was my first time trying the dish, and now I'm hooked. We also enjoyed the French Toast Combo and the Breakfast Burrito with bacon--everything was flavorful and satisfying. We left our plates completely clean! The staff was kind and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. If you're in the area--or even a short drive away--it's definitely worth the stop!

I'm an avid Diet Coke drinker and they had a delicious diet option, Along with their chicken sandwich and it was amazing. But what made this spot good was the service, We had a wonderful waitress and she was nice and bubbly kudos to her!

Really nice people working here. We were so happy to find something that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly during a weekend where rain was heavy and often. Parking is limited and lotsa tourists around. Park at the cute country store and buy a soda and then go over to Estero. Great menu, lots of little creative dishes and the service was so nice and friendly and sweet. Well run, deliciously satisfying food, cooked well, and lots of crab based specials that looked awesome. On a quiet part of Highway 1, go here and be impressed and well taken care of. Thanks for the delicious coffee and food!

After living in Valley Ford for over 6 months, I finally got in to try the Estero Cafe. My goodness, I'm so impressed. Met a lovely lady named Kat who helped me. The place was incredibly clean, organized & relaxing. I ordered a Benedict (didn't get a photo) & the breakfast sandwich. Made on freshly baked sourdough from a local bakery. Omg, everything was so tasty. Will be back to try more things on their menu. You should stop in

We had a delightful breakfast at the Estero Cafe. The service was impeccable and the food was so fresh, local & delicious. We split an omelette w/ hashbrowns & sourdough and added a side of bacon + English muffin. Our server Diana was wonderful. Friendly, professional and definitely made our experience more memorable. We noticed a sign that celebrated the local partner vendors and you can tell the difference when you taste the food. We will definitely be back!

Estero Cafe is a quaint small cafe on hwy 1 in Valley Ford near Bodega Bay. The menu for breakfast was pretty standard, and food above par but not "knock your socks off" quality. From what I remember, a little on the pricier side but everything was local so worth supporting the local economy. Service, although business was slow, took a while to get attention from staff.

The restaurant's large windows provide beautiful waterfront views no matter where you're seated. Our waitress (whose name I unfortunately forgot) was fantastic. She mentioned she'd been there for 14 years, which says a lot in itself. She was friendly, knowledgeable about every dish, and gave us excellent recommendations. I know Caesar dressing contains anchovies, but I was hesitant about having actual fish on my salad. I'm so glad she encouraged me to try the cooked anchovies on the side--they were delicious. Perfectly salty and a great complement to the salad. The pork chop entrée was perfection! The pork was cooked beautifully, and the bread pudding side was just as memorable. I'm not entirely sure what was in it, but it reminded me of garlic bread in the best way. The applesauce was also a nice touch. The halibut was cooked perfectly as well, and the mashed potatoes practically melted in your mouth. For sides, the grilled asparagus was exactly what you'd hope for, and the crispy potatoes lived up to their name, perfectly seasoned with a great crunch. The soup of the day was a creamy spring onion soup with crispy pancetta. Although just as delicious as everything else ordered, its the one plate we wished the portion was bigger for the price it was going for. We've eaten at plenty of restaurants, but this may be the first time where every single thing we ordered--from the entrées to the sides and sauces--was a 10/10. Needless to say, this won't be our last visit. It was absolutely worth it and such a memorable part of our anniversary trip to Bodega Bay.

Lots of crab with little filler. Really rich and moist served with a light sauce, which complimented them so well. Hamburgers were big and juicy with lots of crispy fries. In the beverage department, I selected the Quivira Sauvignon Blanc, which was wonderful. You rarely see this winery on restaurant wine lists, so I was quite excited. It is so delightful and perfect with crab cakes. (Menu photos of everything are included.) By the time we were finished, every seat was filled. A gorgeous view of the ocean and golf course, too, as the restaurant is on the second level of the building. Casual dining at its best! Alex and his helper were working hard. Five-star customer service for sure. Shout out to them both! Open for dining Wednesday, Thursday (live music), Friday (bingo or live trivia), Saturday, and Sunday (brunch). (It's always smart to call for specific open hours.) Parking plentiful. We ordered the Coastal Tacos (rock cod) and Fried Chicken Sandwich. At first we were concerned that it might not be enough for us, but when the food came, we realized our worries were for naught. Both the tacos and the sandwich were quite large and also quite messy, but if a taco or fried chicken sandwich is not a little messy, it's probably not very good! The decor retains the flavor of the building's roots. I seem to recall reading that it was a stage coach stop (or railroad stop?) during an earlier life, which is completely believable since it was built in 1864. Rustic, but with some modern touches. We plan to stay at the Valley Ford Hotel again, and when we do, we'll wander down the stairs to Rocker's Roadhouse for dinner. I hope there's oyster Po' Boys on the menu by then!

Somewhere along the line yelp reviews for Rocker Oysterfeller in Valley Ford became yelp reviews for Rocker's Roadhouse prompting this update. Ages ago I happily awarded 5-stars to Rocker Oysterfeller but when I came to Rocker's Roadhouse for lunch on a recent Monday afternoon things were decidedly not 5-star. The bar area that one enters first had no patrons despite a table of dirty dishes remaining. When we announced we'd like to stay for lunch we were asked to wait while a table in the dining room was cleared. That's exactly what was cleared: one table in the dining room. There were two other tables of customers in the dining room and now a single clean table. Every other customer-free table in that room was stacked with dirty dishes left by previous customers. This wasn't just unappetizing. It was disgusting and we opted not to stay for lunch. I'm hoping this was some sort of aberrant situation as opposed to standard operating procedure. C'mon Rocker's Roadhouse, get your act together.
