Valentine's Day at Rocker's Roadhouse was an absolute win. From the first bite to the last, everything hit. The vibe was relaxed but lively, great energy without feeling crowded. It's the kind of place where you can dress up for a date or roll in casual and still feel right at home.

Mmmm fried chicken... The fried chicken was fried fresh and it was so crunchy and delectable. I enjoyed the buttery mash potatoes with the zesty gravy. My friend also ordered the same thing and was ecstatic about the food as well! Everyone else enjoyed their meal, but the chicken sandwich looked so good, I was so surprised by how large they were! My boyfriend also ordered the gumbo, and ordered additional rice on the side and we didn't ask for the price, it was $5. Be careful and be sure to ask. Overall, recommend the fried chicken!

Stumbled in on our way to Bodega Bay. If you love oysters you'll love this place! Especially on half-price day! Nice ambiance and other food offering were equally delicious.

Rocker's Roadhouse was definitely a surprise! At a first glance, they didn't seem to offer much, however, they actually had excellent service and delicious food (except for the Fried Chicken Plate). The fried chicken plate just lacked flavor. It is nowhere on par compared to the other dishes they offered. The smash burger was delicious, juicy and flavorful. My friends enjoyed their steak and oysters. They also had some cocktails which were sweet and refreshing. My favorite thing about this place is their service. The waiter had such great hospitality - really felt welcome as soon as we came in.

We have been here frequently- love this place. Staff is always welcoming & friendly. Food is excellent. Whether you ordered oysters or my husband - who always orders the steak dish- food is always flavorful & yummy. Also- dog friendly which is always a bonus. It's lovely to sit outside on the patio.

This place is amazing looking and in the cutest small town. The service was great! We sat at the bar and didn't have a chance to look at the restaurant seating, but for what I could see, it looked nice. Restaurant is super clean and welcoming, bar area was busy, only deducted a star because no longer full bar, liquor license was transferred to sister restaurant in bodega bay, oh well I was happy with my delicious root beer, I don't drink beer or wine, but plenty if you do. We enjoyed our food, my fish tacos were very good, a lil too much cabbage. My boyfriend liked his chicken sandwich( smaller side of breast). the oysters he loved! Prices are reasonable.

I wanted to like this place so bad! I am local to the area and we need a restaurant like this. BUT, wait staff couldn't seem to handle a hand full of tables. They seemed frantic even though the place was pretty quiet. It was weird. I ordered the fried chicken plate. What I was able to taste was like they took chicken fried from over the weekend, dipped it in more batter re-fried it and put it on my plate. I described it as un penetrable. Husband ordered Flank steak and it was really tough. The potatoes were good. Really really disappointed $100 later.

The roasted chicken is amazing! It was cherrywood smoked and juicy.

All the food here is really good, especially the smoked chicken. The fries are cut like little dippers, great idea. I had a sweet tea that you have to ask them to make but it's worth it.

Good beer selections. Fresh oysters, the Rockefeller I did not love the bread crumbs on top, more like crushed croutons. Didn't blend well enough with the rest of oyster. Prefer when there's parmesan.

This place was such a great spot for my babies to run around and play with the corn hole in the back patio. We sat outside. We tried ordering the deviled eggs and the gumbo but unfortunately they were all out. We had the smashburger with onion rings and bacon, the flat iron steak and eggs, and the kids had buttered noodles with cheese and fries and everything was so yummy. The Arnold Palmer was good too.

I've driven past here many times and didn't even know it was there! The inside is really cute and clean. Our waitress was LuLu and she was fabulous! Ordered the garlic butter oysters and loved them so much we went for round two. I had the Cajun pasta with shrimp. The pasta had great flavor. My brother had the steak and fries and gave a 10/10. My mom had the fried chicken and wasn't a fan-the gravy tasted...different. Best thing I had besides oysters was the bread pudding. OH MY GOODNESS!!!

We went with our larger group for lunch - with kids. Clay was our server/bar tender and was fabulous with us. The food was good and the little town is eclectic and cute! Try the pork butt or the tacos - both delicious!

The flavor of the curry sauce was addictive. It wasn't spicy, just super flavorful. I ate way more than I I could handle, but that's because it was so insanely good. The vegetables were all cooked properly, to a soft comforting chew, and the rice pulled everything together. 11/10 would highly recommend! My only concern was that I would love to see a vegan option for something with french fries. Other than that this place was a nice gem. The guy working the counter was very friendly and has a vibe that could put anyone in a good mood.

It was late, i guess 45 min before closing. Looking at the menu it all looked great, creative etc. i asked the server shot the food and he said oh everything is made from scratch., etc. we're got two bowls, the dragon bowl and the roast beef bowl to go. We got them home and opened them up. The roast beef bowl was described as being served over a bed of home made mashed potatoes topped with home made gravy and special horseradish sauce. Tasting it, it was a way too salty and the meat was so mushy it blended way too seamlessly with the brown gravy to my taste, ie it was all a mush of sauce over more mushy mashed potato! But i preferred its flavor over the dragon bowl, but definitely did not taste like a home made beef gravy from scratch, it was on the overly thickened by corn starch side, with that fake bouillon taste. Dragon Bowl looks good, topped with crunchy cashews that had slight rancid taste, and fresh green onion. And sadly, the chunks of chicken in it were hard, ie tough, precooked for who-knows-how-long-tasting; old tasting. And the sauce was way too sweet. I was disappointed with the $35 bill. We took the food to go. Once we tasted it at home we basically threw it all in the garbage. What a waste but, yuck. Sorry! Ambiance: The place was empty of patrons, and felt like it was closing now even though they still have 45 min. Our two bowls were ordered were handed to us super fast after ordering, like it took no time to prepare, explaining the poor flavor and quality we experienced, plus look at what others have written about all this premade fast food. I want to give one star, but I'll give 2, in benefit of the doubt they were trying to close early and rushed things vs if it were earlier in evening with more clientele.

I haven't been to Rich Table yet, but the name definitely carries some weight, so I came in with high expectations for this concept. Even though it's counter service, the hospitality really stood out. The staff was patient, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, and the space itself is thoughtfully designed with a clean, modern feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. I almost ordered the half chicken, but ended up going with the rice bowl since it had everything I wanted in one dish. It was excellent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the sides were fresh and vibrant, and the rich, slightly fatty rice tied everything together. It struck a great balance between hearty and refreshing, and the portion was filling without feeling heavy. At the price point, it also felt like a great value. I didn't even feel the need to reach for the hot sauce or chimichurri because the bowl stood well on its own, but both were delicious and worth trying. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to the next time I'm in Hayes Valley.

I came with a group of 7, and they were able to seat us pretty quickly. We ordered: A whole rotisserie chicken, the RTR Rice Bowl, the Chicken soup, the fried chicken sandwich, the seared broccoli, the rotisserie fat rice, and the shredded cabbage & almond. Best Dishes: The Rotisserie chicken and the Shredded cabbage & almond. The rotisserie chicken skin is really crispy and delicious, we were all fighting over who gets to eat the skin. The chicken is so juicy, it's really the best rotisserie chicken I've had. We understand why this place is so well regarded. The shredded cabbage is definitely the best side and we should've gotten another order, as we quickly finished ours and were basically licking the bowl clean. Worst: The rotisserie fat rice and the chicken soup. The rice was basically untouched and none of us wanted to eat it. It's ok, just falls short compared to the other sides. The soup was also ok, it's just a huge bowl and it felt like a waste stuffing ourselves with that when there were other better dishes. The rice bowl was pretty good, and is really good value. It's yummy and a good meal for 12.50. It's a very casual place, you order at the cashier and find a table and seat yourself there. Great for a quick lunch.
