Oh no!!! We got a new car battery and the car won't stop blinking. The emergency lights just won't…read morego off. The loud alarm wasn't going off, just the emergency lights. And the triangle button wasn't doing anything. We went back to the car shop and inquired what we could do. They suggested that the alarm may be going off. We zipped home and found the key fob that has the alarm button on it. Sadly the fob didn't do a thing. No locking and unlocking the doors, no panic button clicking on and off. Nothing. OMG!!! What to do. We popped it open and the battery looked fine. We haven't used it in 7 years so it should still be working. The battery wasn't corroded so there was no excuse why is wasn't working. Our only guess is it expired. Maybe time drained it. So off to Walgreens we went. In high hopes they had this unique battery size. We brought our expired battery with us. It actually had no expiration date so I should just refer to it as a dead battery. To our pleasant surprise they had it. It looked like a AAA battery but half the heights. We've never seen a battery like it before. Usually in key fobs they use giant watch looking batteries. Those we actually have at home. The batteries were easy to find in Walgreens. Soon as you enter go right and walk past the cash register and on the wall on the right all your batter dreams are hanging. When we found the one we wanted we realized the batteries were locked. By that time a long line at the cashiers had formed. After waiting by the batteries I got in line. When it was my turn she grabbed her key and helped us get our battery. By then the line had subsided and we quickly checked out, put in our rewards number and were on our way. In the car we instantly put the battery in, but it didn't do anything, no light went on or anything. We drove home and now we were in sight of our car we tried it again and the light blinked and the doors unlocked. With another click the doors locked. After that we were on a roll. No more blinking lights and thankfully the issue was solved. We are so blessed that we solved the problem with a single batter and no trip to the dealership. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. She welcomed everyone into the store even as she was busy checking people out. I thought that was a nice touch, the personal welcome. If you are in search of a unique size batter I suggest you check out Walgreens in West Sacramento.

Had to spend hours on phone with my insurance to get it worked out. The manager, Anita, is rude and defensive. The pharmacist is rude and uncaring. The pharmacist assistant ignores you so you just have to sit and wait. And God forbid they smile or act pleasant. It is bad enough the place looks like a slum. It is worse when they act like they belong in a slum. Worst walgreens I have ever been to. Hope i never have to come back here. Too bad there are no minus stars

As a healthcare worker, I completely empathize with long wait times, and I was more than happy to circle back around when my medications were ready. However, I was told my medication would be ready in an hour, so I returned an hour later to wait in the drive thru line. After waiting in line for another hour, I was told that only one of my items were ready, and if I wanted to wait another hour the rest mighhht be ready. I left, but it would've been better if they had set up expectations from the beginning so that I didn't have to waste 2 hours waiting just to leave empty handed.

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

Adj: mediocre This…read moreis another neighborhood pharmacy. Although I do not have any Rx scripts here, the location is convenient at the corner of Riverside and Florin, and sometimes it's a quick stop to pick up an essential or an item that I forgot to get at another store and don't want to backtrack. However, there have been reports of several incidents here, so safety can be a concern. I do not come here alone after dark, and try not to come here at night at all with or without someone accompanying. The store seems quite short-staffed, sadly. I ordered some photos to be printed here and on the evening when hubby and I came to pick them up on the way home from the gym, there were only 2 staff in the whole store, and both of them were cashiering. We had to wait till one of them cleared their line of customers checking out before she was available to help us get our several photo orders. As far as shopping here, there are usually well-stocked shelves, but sometimes they seem to stock their items in non-intuitive places and it takes me awhile to find what I'm looking for and staff is scarce so I don't try to find a staff person to help me find the item(s). The prices here, as w/other pharmacies like CVS (pretty much the only other chain pharmacy left), are pretty high, so definitely have to watch for sales if you're flexible about an item's brand or variety. Otherwise, it would be much less expensive for a food or essential item if bought at the Grocery Outlet just across the street. Occasionally, Walgreen's would offer promotions on their photo printing such as a free 8x10 or a few free 4x6, and it's quite easy to use either their app or their website to upload pictures to be printed at the store and although the quality isn't the best, it's pretty ok from my experience of what I need them for. Overall, this Walgreens is a helpful place, but isn't in the safest part of the greater Greenhaven area, and so it is best to only come in daylight.

My main reason is for skin care, cosmetics and supplements. They are usually pretty well stocked in all circumstances, except for a hard to find supplement that I depend upon using on a daily basis. It seems that this Walgreens, the product web site and Amazon are the only places to buy Heliocare Advanced. Dermatologist recommended, It helps support skin health and maintains the skin's ability to protect against the aging effects of free radicals. Meaning, It provides protection against the four types of radiation that can cause sun damage - UVA, UVB, visible light and infrared. Needless to say, at my age, I worry about the aging effects of the sun! I'm not much of an online shopper and prefer to actually go to a store and get what I need right away! Plus, I like to browse and impulse shop while I'm there. I'm too impatient having to wait several days to get something via delivery! So that's why I am frustratingly having to write a 2 star review, after taking the time to drive to my Walgreens and once again finding that they are out of stock every other time I visit! I assume it is a popular in store item, so why can't they order appropriately? When I do come across it, I end up with the only bottle available on the shelf at the time. To top it off, I never get asked if I need help as employees walk past me with blinders on. Other local Walgreens don't even seem to carry Heliocare and employees don't know what I'm talking about. I guess I'm forced to take the online route after all and avoid shopping here altogether in the future...

Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I really like my facial with Ruth. She was amazing and had lovely energy. I would definitely rebook.
