While we were getting ready for my friend's wedding, we ordered a party tray from eSushi off of Uber Eats. The order arrived at a timely manner and packaged really well. PARTY TRAY G (67 PCS) - 86.95 Not sure what the markup was on the Uber Eats app, but it was definitely over $90+. The platter included nine different rolls. I'm not really a saucy roll kind of gal, so I stuck to the rainbow roll (a classic specialty roll that can be found anywhere) and valentines roll (raw tuna, salmon, yellowtail with avocado and masago, wrapped with pink soybean paper). These two were quite good, so I enjoyed 3-4 pieces of each. I tried a piece of the spicy tuna roll and the sauce was too overwhelming. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the rolls because they looked saucy so I avoided them. Overall, I enjoyed the rainbow roll and valentines roll, and the sushi rice hit the mark. Not a bad deal if you have a mid-size group looking to eat about 10 pieces of sushi for a meal or snack. Tried this location during one of the Lenten Fridays as we wanted to try a new ayce sushi restaurant. The evening was busy causing a longer wait but the orders were always correct. I do wish the pieces of fish on the rainbow roll were a little bigger compared to other locations I have gone too but I would go back to give it another try. read more

It was my first time at this restaurant but it's one of my sister's go to for sushi. They have an all you can eat option but you need to finish ALL or you get charged for unfinished food, which makes sense. You cannot share this option. My sister and I opted for regular menu which you can share. Ambiance: clean, romantic, quiet, can accommodate groups. They have an area that's like a private room. Might be able to fit 10-12pm Price: pretty reasonable. For all you can eat $27+ and for kids, they're charged by height. Parking: has private parking which is a huge plus Staff: there was one server helping customer and another handling to go. Great price for good sushi. The Chirashi pieces of fish were thick solid pieces of Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna, Red Snapper. I was super impressed by the size of sashimi for the price. I loved the Salmon Lover Poke bowl. The octopus salad gives the poke bowl a nice "crunch"/snap texture contrasting the sashimi pieces. I really liked the melding of textures. Multiple members of our party ordered the AYCE sushi. There were only three sushi chefs preparing the rolls, nigiri and sashimi that night. We waited more than an hour before getting the Chirashi dishes. We had 11 people in our group. Eight of us got our orders and finished our meals before the people who ordered their Chirashi Bowls were served their food. I was really excited about the option of AYCE sushi but sorely disappointed that there were so few chefs to be able to keep up with orders of the patrons. I was especially irked to see several plates just sitting lined up at the sushi bar not being served. I want to believe this isn't a nefarious tactic to lure patrons in with offering AYCE but slow service to control food output. Several members who ordered AYCE in our group did put in a second order but almost didn't because we were worried we would be there for 3 hours waiting! We stopped in on New Year's Day, January 1st at around noon. As soon as we set down we were notified that due to the holiday they do AYCE dinner all day if choosing to do all you can eat. (BE AWARE IF STOPPING IN DURING A HOLIDAY) As soon as you walk in, you'll see the sushi bar and walk right into the main area - the restaurant itself is really cute and quiet. We stopped in for lunch about 2 weeks ago and figured it worked out since we hadn't stopped by for dinner. We grabbed the usual appetizers- fried calamari, miso soup, and edamame. There isn't much of a difference between the lunch and dinner AYCE menu besides the side sashimi option and a few extra appetizers. It's unfortunate that they don't include any scallop nigiri or rolls on their dinner menu. Unless you're planning on ordering sashimi, I feel the lunch special has more value to it if you're doing all you can eat. The sashimi itself is really fresh. The yellowtail was to die for!!!! The rice on the nigiri during this visit didn't taste as fresh as when we stopped by for lunch a few weeks ago; it was a bit on the harder side. I will like to say that the service was great! The severs were very welcoming and very attentive throughout the whole visit. The selection of AYCE sushi is excellent and includes specialty rolls, regular rolls and nigiri. They even have a selection of appetizers that are included in the AYCE option. Imo this is the the best ayce sushi options in the suburbs. There are tons of special Maki rolls to choose from, with great appetizers, side sashimi and even a cute little mochi to top it off. Everything I got was absolutely delicious and fresh. The size of the rolls isn't too big or packed with rice which I appreciated, you can definitely try a variety if you pace yourself. Highway robbery - this was our go to sushi place. We have ordered from here for years. Tonight we thought it would be fun to bring the kids and eat there. They don't eat sushi, just miso soup and edamame. I didn't know the pink sheets were basically the bible and if you put your Order on it to help organize everything for the waitress, it basically means EVERYONE at the table was signing up for the all you could eat dinner. Waitress was saying something about measuring the kids and I was confused so I said "the kids are only having miso soup and edamame." That's all they ate, we order 3 rolls and a beer. Even when it became blatantly obvious we had no intention to do all you could eat or the kids being able to eat the basic kids menus or that we had any idea that's what we were doing, I was told it's how we were served and they couldn't charge us from the menu as we thought we had been ordering because of portion sizes of the Edamame...I wouldn't even mind paying the menu price of the edamame which is apparently larger but it was clear they weren't going to help us. We calculated the menu price for everything we ordered. $58(before tip) and were handed a $150 check. We loved this place, the food is good. The service, felt like we were taken advantage of because of a language barrier even when it was pretty obvious we were not doing the all you could eat with 5 year olds and by the amount we ordered...I mean we had tiny kids, come on. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back. I have easily spent thousands in sushi here, and I am just really disappointed with the way this was handled. Esushi is a good deal. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The food is okay. Stick with the nigiri sushi so you can eat more. The other things like the rolls are more filling. I placed an order for delivery of the Supersonic Roll ($17), Crab Rangoon ($7), Salmon Combination ($19), and the Shrimp Tempura Roll ($8). Everything was nicely packaged when delivered. The rolls and cuts of fish are generously huge. Crab rangoon was sweeter and smaller than I expected and liked, so I will not order that again. Our party of 3 came here for an AYCE sushi dinner, which is currently a competitive $22.95 pp.  The business is only about a year old and the smallish dining room is clean and modern and with contemporary decor.  I'll go with an ok 3 stars for our outing.  We had another AYCE sushi dinner a couple months ago, so I had a comparison data point. I liked the contemporary modern space and all of the lady servers (all Chinese here at eSushi) that we interacted with were friendly, accommodating, and efficient.  As we read that some diners had long waits on their second round of ordering and when it got busier, we ordered most of what we thought we would eat in our first and what turned out to be our only order.  The dining room did get to about 60% full after a while (about 6pm on a Friday), so we may or may not have had any issue.  We ordered about right, though there was a modest uuggh as we walked out. The food was OK, but I can't go better than 3 stars.  The sushi and maki rolls utilized a noticeably high ratio of rice to fish and the rice quality was a little drier than fresh sushi grade rice.  The shrimp and vegetable tempura and fried chicken we also ordered all had relatively thick battering also.  In fact anything that was fried, like soft shell crab, was overdone, and not delicately fried as is typical.  The fish quality was also in the ok range.  The sashimi was on the thinly sliced side.  Don't get me wrong as we enjoyed our outing here, but just telling it like it was for us as far as the food and how they might rate relative to their competition. read more

This All You Can Eat sushi place opening up 5 minutes away from my house was the best thing to ever happen to me. First of all, this place rocks!! The servers are beyond nice and accommodating. More importantly, the sushi here..... WOW. Not only do they have many specialty rolls on their AYCE menu, but the rolls have always been delicious and prepared nicely (never sloppy, no loose rolls). I never tried a roll here I didn't like. They specialize in sushi, but they have a ton of other things on their menu, like teriyaki chicken, noodle dishes, rice dishes, and various appetizers and soups. I've come here with my friends who don't like sushi and they had so many options to choose from (both got yakisoba noodles which was super tasty, as well). There aren't a lot of All You Can Eat sushi places in the suburbs - usually, I have to hike a little to get to an all you can eat sushi place. I was ecstatic when I was informed eSushi opened up right by me since I already tried the other AYCE places in my area. Warning though, if you come here after 7:30 pm, it will definitely be busy. A solid choice for sushi in the area. I found parking to be relatively easy as they share a lot with other businesses and it's typically not super busy here. Service was quick and friendly, as plates were cleared quickly, water was provided regularly, we were asked if we wanted additional rounds, and food was served promptly. Price is fairly good considering that there are a lot of specialty rolls that are offered, you can order sashimi slices, and there's a nice selection of appetizers available for those in the party who may not be big sushi fans. The dining room had a a good separation between tables so we felt very safe and the waiters wore masks and gloves. The appetizers I tried were in line with what I've had at other AYCE sushi places. Although I think the seasoning was a bit on the light side (which is probably a good thing). The gyoza was pan fried nice and lightly with a tasty filling which had a nice strong pork flavor. The chicken yakitori was grilled just right with a nice light sauce and good meaty pieces of chicken. I liked the batter on the tatsuta age, but would've preferred if the meat pieces were a little larger. Finally, the tempura I tried was fairly crisp and the oil tasted fresh. As for the sushi. I'm not sure if it's completely fair to judge AYCE during a pandemic as pretty much all the restaurants I've been to haven't been as good for carryout sushi during the pandemic as they were before the pandemic. So with that said, the sushi here is in line with what I've gotten recently at other restaurants. The construction of the rolls, flavor combinations, and execution are there -- just things like the avocado isn't as fresh or cucumbers as crispy as you'd expect when a restaurant is super busy. I still enjoyed my experience though, knowing that once the pandemic is over -- this without a doubt should be improved across all the rolls. The rolls have a pretty generous ratio of toppings to rice. Surprisingly, there is quite a bit of fish in each roll in places where other restaurants would either give you more rice or add additional vegetables. This is quite apparent in their specialty rolls where they may layer several different types of fish on each other. These specialty rolls do have a bit more choices of specialty sauces and fish combinations to provide a change of pace from the standards you see at other AYCE. In particular, I also enjoyed deep fried rolls that contained cream cheese as it was served at a nice semi-molten temperature to give that perfect comfort food feel. The sushi here was alright in the AYCE, a little heavy on the rice and it didn't have seasoned vinegar. Overall, given the price, flavor, and the selection I'd return here again. read more

Not only all you can eat, but a rarity to have the ability to order hand rolls, sashimi (they allow two pieces per roll you order) and my favorite that is almost never on the all you can eat selection, Ikura, which is Salmon Roe. When we brought this to the staff's attention, a woman came to our table and caused a scene in front of the entire restaurant, which was extremely embarrassing -- everyone was staring at us. They have great lunch deals so i would go for that! being a small business i was so worried about eSushi staying open but it seems the community really loves it, i've come in and every seat has been full! I hesitated at first to order pickup from here when I saw was it was an all you can eat restaurant (where I've found usually the quality of sushi isn't as great as it could be). But, since it was a new restaurant, I had to try it out. I got a salmon lover poke bowl, and to my surprise the fish was REALLY good quality. I can't say that it was the best poke bowl I've had though. I prefer the places devoted to poke bowls where you can customize your toppings. But for a poke bowl in general at a regular sushi place, it was decent. And the salmon was EXCELLENT. They gave large chunks and it was tasty and buttery. The only thing I didn't love was the peas in the bowl. If they swapped out the peas for some edamame, I'd buy this again. We also ordered the hibachi dinner, and won't be getting that again. We didn't read the menu description too carefully, and assumed we'd be getting the typical japanese hibachi types of meals with buttery fried rice and your typical shrimp with vegetables. It was just some shrimp with veggies and white rice. We'll prob just stick to sushi next time. Once covid is completely over, maybe we'll be back for all you can eat? We also got curbside pickup.
