This is your basic overpriced airport spot, but I've had much worse. We had less than an hour before our United flight, and after a chaotic check in and crowded security lines (yay holiday travel!) the full bar at Etai's was like an oasis, even though the breakfast menu is sort of limited. The full service restaurant is very cramped, and difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or any luggage. We sat down at a small table in the corner and the service was quick and efficient- but he didn't ask what time our flight was like many establishments do. I had the mimosa and classic breakfast sandwich, which were both pretty good. The boy got a super small double Bloody Mary, that was basically super watered down grocery store mix and some vodka (for $14.50!!!!!) If I had more time, I probably would have advocated to get it taken off our bill, but oh well. We were able to scarf down our food and get cashed out right as our flight was boarding. Good to know this is there, but I much prefer Root Down in Terminal C. Hopefully we won't ever fly United again so it should be a non-issue. read more

This place is great for gluten free at Denver airport. I had the roast beef sandwich. My only disappointment was I thought there was gluten free au jus for it to be a French dip but the sandwich changed on the menu. The bread was so good. Great bar and atmosphere at the airport. read more

Unfortunately, one of the worst locations I've ever been to and shame on Etai's Facebook social media platform! They completely ignored my inbox message about inquiring about a vegetarian burger I received at this location. Completely left on read, ROFL! I was able to get answers, by one of their sweet vendors who was very knowledgeable and also took the time to verify things for me. The funny part is that vendor doesn't even work for Etai's directly. Their vegan burger patty contains a pint of dairy. Just beware! read more

At the airport this is a must to hang at before a flight. Tianna was a great server at the bar. They have great music, wine selection, menu, and mixed drinks. They understand how to turn over tables without rushing you. The Etai's I visited is close to B20 gate at DIA. read more

Save yourself the trouble, go elsewhere. Waited a while to get my food then my check, was told they were short staffed (meh, not too sure about that wasn't that busy and people who were seated after me were served before I was), got a paleo bowl and it was full of water not sure if that's how they serve it normally or if it was a fluke, but it was edible and I was in a rush so I ate it. Then was short changed after paid cash. Had to go back and get my money. Ugh. Strangest experience at a restaurant I've had in a while. Go to Les Boissons, service and drinks are better. read more

I've been very generous with three stars - please read below. Stopped by in the morning for breakfast ( around 7 AM or so). I was really looking forward to sit down breakfast with the menu - but I didn't see anyone serving any food, the place was empty, with the exception of an old back pack standing on the bartender side of the bar table suggesting there may be only a cleaning personnel there? So I got my egg and cheese sandwich with avocado from the "to go" part of the Cafe - when I wanted to seat at the table, someone appeared from behind the counter to yell at me that I can't sit at the table as it is only for the customers who would like to order food from the menu (well, hello, that was my exact plan!). Anyway, the egg and cheese sandwich was missing cheese, and the [very little] amount of avocado you get at the airports for $2.50 is definitely amazing. I didn't have time or energy to deal with the absence of the cheese in my sandwich. I'm sure you understand why 3 stars is a super-generous rating for the experience. read more

Great a healthy place to eat in an airport, yay! Well initially I thought yeah... then I received my order. I initially came for some drinks, but then my flight was delayed so I decided to order some food. I ordered some bowl, I can't even remember the name of it but it had chicken/salad in it. It was bad from the first bite, I tried, I really tried to eat it because I was hungry but I couldn't do it. I had a few bites and called it a day, and set it aside. The manager did notice that I was finished so soon, and asked me what was wrong. I told her it was bad, really bad. She did ask me if I would like anything else, and with a simple bowl being this awful I was not going to risk it. They did take it off my tab without me asking, so that was nice. Stuck in Denver with a layover. Needed something light to eat before my next flight. Take out or eat in here. I placed my order at the take out window. The girl was friendly and helpful. I ordered a roast beef sandwich that's described as famous. Not famous for being good. I'll tell you that. There was thick slices of beef but they were dried out to the consistency of jerky. I can get amazing roast beef in Ma. & RI. This is why airport food gets a bad rap. It wasn't cheap either adding insult to injury. The French fries were Mickey D style and pretty good. etai's provided quick service and a nice selection of quick bites. There is a selection of prepared cold salads, parfaits and sandwiches for sale. I had to force myself to focus on just one thing since there was a huge selection of baked rolls, cake and cookies at the register calling my name. I ordered the Cubano which was prepared with "rustic bread"and not traditional but just the right amount of food and fairly good. I am happy with this airport terminal cafe, as it provides nice healthy faire compared to typical fast food offerings. read more

For the walk up kiosk ONLY: Poorly designed Grab & Go station- it is more like, wait, order, wait, stumble over people, wait, fight to counter to get food, struggle with luggage, fight people to get out of space. Decent food, horrible execution and awkward space design. I ordered a sandwich and it took 10 minutes. Meanwhile, there was nowhere to stand while waiting for the sandwich as more and more people came into the space to order. For an airport, this little layout did not work for me-I came a second time and experienced the same convergence and congestion. Too long a wait, too awkward for travelers with bags. 4 stars for food selection in comparison to the nearby restaurants. 3 stars for actual food. 5 stars for solid craft beer options and friendly bartenders who pour STRONG drinks. This assessment rounded out my review at 4 stars. We spent about an hour here while waiting for a delayed flight (thanks, United). While sitting at the bar, we had great conversation and service with the two ladies serving food and drinks. Decent bar space and we didn't have any trouble with a full bar with people holding suitcases. I ordered the caprese sandwich with sweet potato fries. I was hoping for a better sandwich after seeing their fresh and varied options on the menu, but it was just OK. Definitely a small portion for the cost, but that's to be expected for an airport. You are served healthy options and we appreciated such an offerings compared to the majority of offerings that are often sodium soaked, fat filled, carb overload weights in your stomach. Nice place in the Denver airport. They have a sit down restaurant but I decided to use the take out section. The young lady taking the order was very nice and friendly. I ordered the classic breakfast sandwich with added Ham. It came out to $8 and change which is actually not that bad in airport terms. Food came relatively quick. It was warm and the quality was typical of airport quick food. When you order it's a bit confusing because they have spot for you to order menu items you are taking out (like i did) but they have a separate person checking out people with the pre-made food in the refrigerated shelves. I waited 20 minutes after being sat to get my order taken. It did not seem busy. the wait staff hung out by the bar and were nowhere to be seen most of the time. I could see other customers getting agitated as well. When my order was finally taken, the food came fast and it was ok, but I did not receive my wine until after I was done with the food. The whole time I watched the bartender cleaning dishes. It wasn't like she was backed up with orders. I don't know if the staff is lazy or the organization is just terrible, but it was ridiculous. I can't imagine how angry I would have been if I was running short on time for my flight. Super overpriced for just "okay" food. I got the paleobowl (see pic) which was sub par. It was $2 for a tiny dab of avocado, bringing the price for just this to over $13. We did the sit-down section of this airport restaurant. Very busy at the time of day we came in, all the tables were taken. But then all of a sudden everyone left (first round of flights must have begun boarding!). We had a friendly waitress, vey busy but attentive enough. I ordered a turkey cheddar sandwich. Instead, it turned out not even be a kosher sandwich. It was turkey and bacon - bacon but no cheese. When I made an inquiry they said that the cheddar would be in the bread, and the bacon could be found if you read the fine print on the back of the sandwich. I wanted to exchange it and they told me no - I was told to read the fine print on the package next time. I decided to eat the couscous I bought - average. An expensive trash run. read more

Something about this place told me it would be different from your everyday airport experience. And I wasn't disappointed. The cafe was crowded, but they did seat me at the counter in the back, just in time to see some glorious late morning sunshine on the tarmac. The sunshine was healing after being crammed next to someone who took more than his share of space in the flight over. My server Tiffany also made me forget that I was in an airport full of busy and stressed people. All of the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy each other's company, and I had never seen that before in an airport cafe. I ordered the smothered burrito, and it hit the spot. There were some mysterious stems in it, which proves that the food came from an actual plant, and I'm okay with that. The potatoes and eggs were quite filling, and I'm glad I didn't order it with meat. The potatoes were jewel-colored, purple and orange--the happiest potatoes I've ever seen. The eggs looked like they might have come from a blender and cooked in a mold, but I was so hungry I didn't care. The whole thing was smothered in delicious green salsa, and not too much sour cream squeezed from a tube. I would have liked more lettuce, but it was okay as a garnish. The cheese looked pre-grated, but it was on par with what you'd find at other places. Tiffany seemed surprised that I ate the whole thing, saying that maybe 1 in 20 people finish, and most end up picking through it. But we both agreed: it's a good burrito. This is a nice place to grab a quick and healthy meal in the airport. I had the chicken basil sandwich to go which was prepared with fresh ciabatta bread and roasted red peppers. Although the pesto was a little too greasy, it was nice to have the extra flavor. As for breakfast, they have more extensive hearty breakfast items on their menu rather than quick bites, but I enjoyed the chocolate chip muffin. The swirled milk and white chocolate chips were sprinkled on top of a soft muffin - I wasn't quite sure what flavor it was but it was similar to a spice cake or pumpkin bread. I travel very frequently for work and used to stop here a lot. Lately I've been served or not...by Tiffany. She is the absolute worst. She doesn't greet you right away, she ignores you before and after you order drinks and texts on her phone, plays music on her phone over the speakers in the restaurant, she doesn't give a care in the world. Once she even poured my drink and forgot to give it to me while she chatted up "her regulars". When I check out, she never prints the itemized check which I need for expensing, she just yells the total to me, I give her my card, and then still have to ask for a copy. Half of the times I've been here I haven't been able to get served or have ordered and not received my items due her lackadaisical attitude. If I see her when I walk by, I don't even stop anymore.
