Came here on a layover from SFO to TUL. Cafe has a solid menu, good beer options, and fast & friendly service. Had the BLT with avocado with sweet potato fries and a lager. While the sandwich was good, I lowered my review one star because the amount of bread was a little too much for the amount of filling on the sandwich. Anyway, I enjoyed my food and conversation with the waitstaff, and the total meal was $23 (with tip), so not awful for airport fare. Would recommend as a good food spot for anyone passing through DEN! read more

Etai's at the airport was amazing. We had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was busy, but you would never know by the staff. They attended to our every need. Rae was friendly, had a wonderful sense of urgency, but still had time to recommend food and attend to us like we were her only customer. The table next us was raving about Rae's service, also. Surprisingly delicious and somewhat healthy food in DIA. In a world of Panda Express and Burger Kings it's nice to know that there are waistline-friendly options for weary travelers. That doesn't mean I didn't order the French fries. Also enjoyed a sandwich with turkey, Brie and apples on a hearty wheat bread. It wasn't too heavy or intimidatingly big. And though my server was pushing the chocolate cake for dessert, I couldn't finish my main. No sweets if you're not part of the clean plate club. Ask your server for the actual prices of food and drinks before ordering. Beer marked as $7 but was charged $8 for each. Ordered a single of a Moscow mule but was charged for a double. On top of that, the price of the double on the receipt is was $4 more than the price of the double marked on the menu. Got a check for $44 and when I went to pay cash, the server told me one moment and brought a separate check back for $53. Wasn't until I asked for the itemized receipt did I notice all the prices charged did not match the prices in the menu. read more

Not a bad place for airport food-and I do fly a lot. Had the roast beef sandwich and ordered it to go and ate it immediately at my gate across the way. Did take a little longer than I thought it would. Sandwich was good but the roast beef kind of clumped together. I liked the ciabatta bread but it was almost to large for the sandwich-not a big fan of feeling like I'm eating a big loaf of bread with smaller ingredients thrown inside. You may be thinking that I didn't like the place, but it is good just a little too expensive. However, not many options at all down in that end of Terminal B. read more

You had me at "half off your second shot." A double Crown Royal and Coke for $8 - yes please! For a small little bar in DIA this one sure has a lot of personality and a lot going for it. I would for sure come back next time I need a cocktail and a good food base before getting on a plane. Let me just say that the bartender was not only a good salesman, attentive, and kind, but he was also very easy on the eyes. I'd go back just for that. It is a very intimate space which is perfect for the traveler who is on his own or even a pair of folks who want to drin. Big groups and large families should park it elsewhere. The small space is perfect for chatting with strangers and just enjoying a drink. I also had a very delicious sandwich with awesome french fries. It was only like $9 which is pretty good for an airport. The menu wasn't huge but there were a ton of great options. It's easy squeezy lemon breezy. Over all this is an excellent little joint - one that could be easily overlooked if you are unawres of its awesomeness. Totes awesome. read more

Wow! Did not expect this from an airport restaurant! We split a mango chicken salad and BLTA sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was plenty for two and not that spendy! Yeah! The salad tasted fresh, the size was generous, and the dressing was just right. The BLTA was flavorful, with a bit of a spicy zing. The sweet potato fries were among the best I'd ever had. My flight was delayed at like 11 pm at night, so I decided to go here since many of my other options were closed. I sat down at a table and was almost immediately attended to. I decided to order some sort of chicken pesto sandwich and a glass of pinot grigio. The sandwich was mediocre at best, and came with fries which were kind of disappointing. Overall, the meal was overpriced (about $10 for sandwich and $8 for glass of wine), especially since I don't think the quality was very high. For quick, healthy alternatives, I go here for breakfast. Why? Because it's inexpensive for airport food, and it's good. For $6 it beats getting the bubble guts from a McDonald's Sausage McMuffin. It's rare for me to give an airport food stall four stars. But Etai's really stood out. It's now in the top three (the Napa Kitchen at SFO, that Mexican place I love at MSP Terminal 2, and Etai's at DIA). Out of a sea of chain fast food places, Etai's drew me in with their display of fresh salads and sandwiches, and totally reasonable prices. I ordered a salad and the BLT, which came with a TON of french fries, which was an awesome surprise. The fries weren't the best, but they were good. I honestly would eat here all the time, especially if I continue to fly Frontier. Much, much better than the options in the center of the terminal. Fresh, fast and affordable! read more

I came in because the employer chose cool hip modern tunes vs the hot dog shop smell next door. Upon getting my beer at the bar I was greeted by Tiffany lightly, and given my beer. Then it hit me...OMG she was blasting gospel type music on a a phone at me from the register. The competing noise was insane. I had Khalid "Talk" on by the employer and I don't know what on the phone. Dear employer realize you did me proud and I left due to how you had two DJ's working the same room. I've been in this industry my whole life and this just clearly showed me that her comfort and enjoyment was much more important than mine. My sandwich kept falling apart and I figured that you can't expect too much from Airport vendors and that the bread was probably a little old. I recently had a longish layover and am so happy that I didn't walk on by due to the crowded appearance of the restaurant. The service from start to finish, was friendly and very quick. They were down one staff member that day, and both Yuliana and the hostess were on top of things, taking orders, cleaning tables and counter space, and serving food and drinks. Their ability to interact with the customers and keep the work flow going was fantastic, and added to enjoyment of the meal. I will definitely be back on my next trip through DIA. read more

Luckily I also bought a cob salad for later since I had to hurry to a connecting flight. This is the saddest excuse for food I have ever experienced!! I got a pesto chicken sandwich on multigrain and guess what - chicken over cooked so much that I could barely chew it - bread soaked in butter (not crispy just wet) and the whole thing was disgusting. I tossed the whole thing out and will never ever try this place again!! I strongly advise against going here! At the same time the staff felt very disorganized and rude. I asked if she could add some tomato to it and got some kind of nonsense about ordering a salad!! Seriously? This is disgusting - please avoid. I sacrificed my well being for the masses to know! Stopped by for breakfast during a layover from Phoenix to Atlanta. This spot is a breath of fresh air amid all the high end and/or fast food options scattered through the airport. True to its name - Bakery Cafe, Etai's offers something for everyone. They have delicious gluten free hot menu items as well as quick on the go salads, sandwiches, and fruit cups. I ordered the Southwest Breakfast Sandwich which was made on jalepano bread (so delicious), had bacon, egg, cheese, and tomato. I added a little mayo and mustard. Was totally satisifed on my three hour flight. My only complaint - which seems to maybe be a "breakfast hour" thing, is that it was super busy and there seemed to be a shortage of staff available to take everyone's orders. I'm not sure what the normal customer-staff ratio is, but I'm thinking it's not a normal situation for the wait time to be as long as it was. (Took about 15 minutes to get my order) So, if you have a minute to spare, this place is definitely worth it. read more

This is my second favorite restaurant in Denver airport and my favorite in B terminal. I have tried about half of the menu over the last year and I like all of it. My favorites are the French Dip and the Cuban. They have a full bar with a good draft beer selection. I especially like the fact that every table and every stool has power outlets dedicated to the patron. This is a great place to grab a quick bite - they can do most sandwiches in 7 minutes, or as in today's case, a great place to hang out waiting on a delayed flight.
