I tried this Filipino barbecue joint this weekend and oh my gosh it blew me away. I will add it to my favorite restaurant lists. I got their crispy pork belly, beef short ribs and beef pares. Portions are generous and food quality is amazing. The beef pares is almost like gourmet pot roast. Service is really good too which is honestly hard to come by at most Filipino restaurants in LA. They gave out free soup when we dined in and brought scissors for the galbi beef short ribs. There's only 2 tables inside so I suggest calling them ahead and picking it up. read more

Ordered the crispy pork belly and bbq pork ribs with garlic rice and salad. The crispy pork belly was so tasty- super crispy on the outside. It was a tad dry, but the flavor/saltiness was perfect. Really enjoyed the two dipping sauces that came with it! The 3 pieces of bbq pork ribs were okay- slightly dry as well, but had a nice porky flavor and a yummy bbq sauce. The garlic rice was really good- not too salty and very garlicky! Salad was your standard iceberg lettuce salad, but the shredded mango on top was a nice addition. Would have liked a more "Asian" salad dressing, instead of Italian and a balsamic dressing. Would definitely order the crispy pork belly again. Would also like to try their Java rice. Also good to know that they don't use peanuts/peanut oil in their dishes! read more

Got the beef pares combo and was pretty disappointed. The beef was more fat than actual meat but still had a good flavor. Rice was solid especially with the seasoning on the top, the bed underneath could've used a bit more. The soup was very bland and flavorless and they also forgot to put utensils in the bag but mistakes happen. read more

Stumbled across this place while searching up food in the area and it did not disappoint! My party tried the squid, beef pares, grilled pork belly, crispy pork belly, and beef short ribs and they were all very delicious! Each of the plates comes with two sides (i.e. fries, steamed rice, java rice, garlic rice, salad). The crispy pork belly may have been a little too crispy for our liking, but still tasty. I believe they also have lechon as a plate option as well, depending on its availability. The restaurant is on the smaller side with only two tables with four seats each, so I would recommend calling in to place an order just in case the tables are filled. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more of their dishes and desserts next time! read more
