Home style little family breakfast/lunch spot. Just a good old fashioned breakfast with excellent prices. We had the country omelette and fried egg sandwich. Best. Egg Sandwich. EVER!!! Highly recommend!

Are you looking for fancy decor? If so... beat it. This is a dive and they know it. There is a communal table in the middle and "seat-yourself" 2 and 4 tops around a sparsely decorated dining area. The staff is quick, friendly, and fun. More importantly, the coffee is GOOD. Did you forget your glasses? Doesn't matter, Ethel & Fred have your back! They put the menu is extra large font (They should win some sort of restaurant award! GENIUS! A menu you can read!) Our group ordered breakfast and everyone loved it. Nothing fancy but the price we AWESOME! Thumbs up to the neighborhood diner!!

Stopped by here for lunch today with my mom. We sat ourself and our server quickly approached us. She was very friendly and helpful. She took our drink order and delivered our drinks promptly. Our food order was promptly taken. I ordered meatloaf, garlic mash, gravy, and kernel corn. Our meals was delivered promptly and I have to say that the meatloaf is the best I have eaten in the county. Absolutely delicious. The garlic mash was also exceptional and very tasty. The kernel corn was good. The patty melt my mom ate I am happy to report was very good. The side of veggies she had was excellent I will definately be back soon.

As mentioned in other reviews, the atmosphere is lacking, reminded me of an open bingo hall to be honest. They have a couple murals that obviously has effort put into them but did not fill the vast space, and some of the lights need replacing. It's obviously a mom and pop business that might be struggling but when it comes down to the food, I have no complaints. The pricing makes it a great value, I ordered the pot pie and I quite enjoyed it. You also get decent side options making it overall quite the portion size. Also as mentioned previously it is served HOT. While the ingredients may not have been homemade I had no concerns of it being cooked improperly. As food is the main reason you would choose this I'm not going to fault them on appearance. Even though it isn't the prettiest, it was a clean facility and the staff was pleasant.

Our absolute favorite place to go for great, home cooked, comfort food!!! Chicken pot pie is a special and when they have it, I always take home several, soooo good!! Same with shepherds pie!! Pancakes are wonderful and very large and filling. Homemade desserts, great service, and still great prices!!

Service was ok, food was mediocre how do you send pancakes out that look like this, cook and server had no pride in the presentation of this pancake breakfast.

Very impressed by this local breakfast spot in Melbourne with prices that can't be beat! We met up…read morewith an old friend to catch up while we were in the area, and he recommended this place. They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

So good! We came across this based on the stars on Yelp. Spot on. This is a hipster pace for sure,…read morebut even us old folks felt welcomed by the staff and other diners. I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.

Beachside Cafe in Indialantic was a great breakfast stop…read more The wait was short and easy, the staff was friendly, and there was a unique "all for one" feeling from the team. Everyone seemed attentive, helpful, and focused on making sure guests were taken care of. I had the biscuits and gravy, and it was delicious. It was so good I had to order an extra biscuit. My friend had a classic eggs, bacon, toast, and fruit breakfast, and it looked great as well. One thing that really stood out was the attention to detail. The staff made sure our coffee cups never fell below the halfway mark, which is always appreciated at breakfast. The location is excellent, right across from the beach in Indialantic. Parking was a little tight, but we managed. Great food, friendly service, and a really nice beachside breakfast spot. Solid five stars.

This really small place serves delicious perfectly cooked food at a very reasonable price ($32 out the door with 2 meals, coffee, tax and 25% tip). Our waitress Quinn was slammed but she provided excellent service. You can tell she has a lot of experience making sure her customers have a good experience by asking things like "the home fries have onions is that okay?" We expected very slow service but truly we were sat and had our breakfasts in about 15 minutes. Which I think is pretty good. Took a little longer to pay our bill but 100% worth the wait. We would definitely come back when in the area. My Daugher says "Quinn you did amazing!!! You were soooo good at serving. The pancakes were delicious!"

The bowl was tasty but saddle the sweet potato were soft and mushy rather than crispy. With the soft tofu, plantain, tomato, and avocado it was a lost opportunity for texture to have them be crisp. My husband said of roasted potatoes was also soft and mushy so I think there is just a timing issues rushing the potatoes for the first guest of the day. I'd still order it again. - Knowing we would be in the middle of nowhere without a vegan option on our drive home, I ordered the Veggie sandwich with added tofu to pack for a lunch later. It was delicious but probably even better hot and fresh rather than chilled.

It was a bit pricey at $20 for this Poké bowl but I assume others in the area would be the same. Unique menu that looks to have great options for any meal you go.
