They'll charge you tons of fees and act like they're doing you a favor with their subpar customer service.

Honestly, this was one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had…read more I found the exact bike I wanted through the Specialized site and it came up as available at Swanny's. I'm in LA but figured I'd call to see if it was any cheaper than my local shop. They informed me that because they were shipping from Nevada to LA there wasn't any sales tax (10.5%) and they would throw a little love on top. They sent an invoice and I paid it. A day later it was shipped out and the next morning my bike arrived. The turn around was shockingly fast. Something did go wrong though. A helmet I ordered was damaged in shipment AND THEY SAID "KEEP IT, WE'LL GET ANOTHER ONE SENT OUT!!" I'm floored with the easy purchase, no hassle pricing, and especially the customer service. I don't think I'll ever buy a bike from another shop. The 5 star rating they have with hundreds of reviews isn't bullshit and is well earned. Much love to the ownership and team hear. Truly a top tier shop.

Prior to coming to this shop, I had been gifted a bike but knew very little about bicycles since…read morethe last time I rode one was over a decade ago. I initially went to REI feeling completely lost and unsure of what I needed. After walking around for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged, I decided to leave and I'm glad I did because I found this shop instead. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. Zabi took the time to look over my bike and made helpful recommendations on what I needed to get it road-ready again. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything. Instead, he made sure I felt comfortable and understood my options. The customer service was outstanding, not only from him but from everyone else in the shop as well. Even if larger corporate stores are running sales, I would much rather drive here and support a business where customers are genuinely welcomed and cared for. Overall, this is an excellent shop with knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

I would need to go to Giant to get my part, and I was given the malfunctioning part to take as a reference. I came to the Henderson store to get the part. the man helping me took the reference part to the back, found the new part, and came back after a few minutes of examining the old part. He gave me the new part but cautioned me that, to him, the old part still seemed fine. He then went on to describe to me a common issue that can sometimes seem like the problem is the dropper post, but is actually related to the cables. He said he wanted to give me a heads up before I spent the money on the part, just in case I wanted to try going back to REI with the new insight. I thanked him and decided to get the part anyhow, figuring it's 5 years old, so it won't hurt to replace it regardless. Nevertheless, he offered that, if after replacing the part, the seat still doesn't function properly and REI isn't able to fix it, to bring it in to him and he'll take care of it. "I don't want you to have to pay twice for the part and even more repair" (to paraphrase). My takeaways: * Gave advice and knowledge (most good salespeople will offer that these days) * Provided an alternative for what my issue might be, despite that meaning they could lose the sale * Offered to include fixing my issue, free of charge, if the REI folks still couldn't figure it out, as a thank you for buying the part I appreciated each of these things, and I felt it was important to mention it to others.

IF after reading this post, you still decide to give this place your business, you've been warned…read more My son earned and saved enough money to get hydraulic breaks for his bike. 185+ later for parts and labor from Giant, he had what he wanted. About a month later, he starts to have issues with the hydraulics. My wife takes the bike in with my son and the two men who were there gave her attitude and started to make accusations on why it probably no longer works. They didn't know, but my wife took the bike to Swanny's prior to going back to Giant and they said something inside the hydraulic casing was bad. Giant told my wife they could see scratches on the break system and it most likely stopped working because my son dropped it crashed his bike. Only option was for them to "look at it" and let us know what was wrong. A week later, we get a call with two options from the Giant. Give us $125 to put a new one on or come pick it up. I told the guy that I would never do business with a company who accuse customers of things and who don't guarantee their work/products, and I would pick the bike up. Rule number one when doing business with someone, if they don't guarantee their work, don't give them your business. Rule number 2, If they talk down to women, don't give them your business.

I was holding and comparing 2 sets for about 5 minutes. A couple of the employees even looked my way. Too bad they didn't come over because they just lost a sale to Golf Galaxy. I tried to give you business, but I guess your golf shop was either too "busy" or maybe thought that someone like me wasn't a serious buyer. Whatever the reason, I definitely won't be back.

I was kinda disappointed in the selection that was actually on sale. There were maybe 2-3 pairs from each brand on sale out of the dozens of options. Still, I looked them over and had an idea of the ones I wanted. The salesperson, Yancey, came over to help. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We talked about the pros and cons of multiple pairs, taking my specific needs into account. I felt satisfied with my selection and made the purchase. As a giant chain store, they have equipment and clothing for almost all of your athletic needs. I really most appreciated the service. That's what would bring me back here. Go see Yancey next time you need some athletic shoes!
