BUYERS BEWARE!!! No Stars if possible. We bought one of their "custom" bikes. We were told that they built the bike and it came with a two year warranty. We have had nothing but trouble with this 'custom' bike. Every time we took it for repairs [none covered by warranty] the repairs were not done properly. The electrical system is a huge problem and now they are telling us to contact the manufacturer. Huh? We thought you were the manufacturer. We've had to pay for towing and repairs on top of the 2000.00 "custom " bikes. They are not open on weekends and thus takes time from our work schedule. This ends up costing us time and money. I believe we were lied to and taken advantage of by their promises of a reliable electric bike. Unless they decide to 'do right by us' I see a small claims court appearance in their future. read more

I purchased an e-bike for my wife from Costco, online. It was delivered quickly, I put it together, and surprised her. The bike was way too big for her, so salt, I took it back. I searched for an e-bike shop and found Energie Cycles in Las Vegas. We found the place and parked outside, but wasn't sure if we were in the right place, but it was. Before even exiting out car, we were greeted with a wave by Tony. He gracefully explained everything to my wife and I, and even took us for a ride for a couple of miles, explaining how to use the controls as we rode. We were sold! Tony showed us how to fold and also how to charge the bike, even explaining about the batteries and how to keep them running efficiently. Great service, we will be back! read more

They did a rebuild on my battery that turned out to cost more than just buying a new one. but my real issue is with the staff working up front. My battery that they built stopped taking a charge. I took it in and they charged me $50 to replace the charging port. That did not fix my problem. So I return the battery and was told that I was wrong the battery was working and asked to leave. read more

My son lent his S73 to a friend who crashed it and cracked the battery casing and it would not hold onto the bike mount. They are the only ones I found that had the resources and knowledge to repack the battery into a new casing. I sent them the battery, charger, etc. and they repaired the battery for me. It took a little while because there was some water damage next door and they were backed up... but during the pandemic, we have all learned to be a little more patient and understanding. In January they called to ask if I would mind paying for a new charger for it - I said yes and paid for it. THEY STILL HAVE NOT SENT ME THE BATTERY OR THE CHARGER. My recent service experience with Ebike Market Place was outstanding. I bought a customized Lithium ion battery from them a year ago and a year later the fuse melted and the battery stopped functioning. Ebike Market Place repaired it and I had it back and operating in less than two weeks including shipping time. I have a very custom operation, pulling 400lbs of piano with an ebike (described below) This operation has evolved over the last decade and EMP was quick to answer my questions and concerns almost immediately. I have been an ebike user since 2008. I'm using a 24V Lithium ion battery with 20Ah capacity. The battery management system (BMS) has a 60amp capacity before it shuts off. The bike has a 500W motor which can draw over 800W in a given instant. The electrical current can spike up to 30 to 40amps. Having a 60amp capacity on the BMS keeps the system from shutting down in traffic situations. I also needed to be able to pull that piano up a curb cutout from a dead stop. With low enough gears I can do it with my weight on the ebike and my feet touching the ground. The piano itself is mounted on a "Bikes at Work" trailer. I'm the director of the Pasadena Piano Institute and one of our unique offerings is outdoor performance at community events on a real piano. There's no "sit down" audience so this is a much easier venue for a student to begin performing. I started doing this because I was pulling an acoustic piano around with my ebike for my own personal performing life. Then I realized how valuable it would be for piano students. Ebike Market Place was able to create a battery system to meet my needs and they stand behind their products and services. When the battery needed repair Ebike Market Place was very supportive and helpful with my questions. They were willing to make modifications to their battery to satisfy my needs. Welp, we were stuck big-time. Our e-bike batteries were dead from not charging them for over a year--for good reasons we weren't riding the bikes. We didn't realize that it was required to charge them every 30 days. Important lesson learned! Our e-bikes were discontinued by Jetson and they, nor anyone else, had replacement batteries. Ugg. We contacted EBike Marketplace and hoped for the best. We received our refurbished batteries and HOORAY! They worked and we could not be happier! We had less than 80 hours on our bikes and it would have been terrible not to get the batteries fixed. Thank you guys so much!!! I can't recommend these folks enough! My bike is no longer a "Boat Anchor". I have a 2015 I-ZIP Dash 3 mountain bike style with a 48 Volt battery and a cradle that is not forward compatible. A very strong and sturdy bike by the way. It's almost 8 years old now so I was happy to find a technician who could repack the innards so that the battery would accept a full charge. Enough to take a longer, peddle assisted ride with confidence and still get home. I'm 70 now. E-Bike Marketplace is the only shop I could find to provide this service and they were recommended by noteworthy bike shops in Portland, OR and Tucson, AZ. "Kinda bike Capitols". I'm sure this will change as time progresses and replacement batteries will become "snap on" or otherwise easily attached. Yet, when those days come I will always start with E-Bike Marketplace in Las Vegas as they were smart enough to be mission capable now (2022)! Where else would I start? Now I need a solar bike battery charger for when the Zombie "you know what" happens. At least I could get to the grocery store and back, depending upon the size of your top box with deployable panniers. They likely sell those too. RPE and E-bike Marketplace are horrible! In 11 months since I sent my 2 batteries to be rebuilt. We had damaged batteries and sent them back. Eventually when we got them back, only one functioned. I sent the one battery back, and they said it was functioning properly. Finally I begged them to send the battery back so I could have someone repair the battery. I spent $1200 to rebuild 2 batteries and I have one good battery and one battery that I have to send out to another company to repair. Because they are so slow to do rebuilds, repairs, and to ship orders out, I had to purchase another e-bike so we could salvage some of our biking for this summer. I would not send my mortal enemy to these people! They DO NOT answer their phones, return messages, or return emails! I have NEVER dealt with a business with worse customer service than these scammers! The company that referred them to me NO LONGER DOES BUSINESS WITH THEM EITHER! If I could give them negative stars, I would give them as many negatives as possible. If I get out to Las Vegas in the next few years, I hope I don't see their store, because I will be the biggest asshole they have ever seen. Bobby should find a new job. read more

The battery on my electric bike stopped charging. I took the battery and the charger into RPE to have it checked out. A couple days later I was called and informed that the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. I authorized RPE to build me a new battery. The battery took longer to build then I expected. After using the charge that came with the battery I plugged the charger in. The green light on the charger did not turn red when I plugged the charger into the battery. After several hours the new battery would not charge. My wife took the new battery and the charger back to RPE. I was floored when she returned and said the charger was bad and she had to buy a new charger. I will never know if the OEM battery was bad..or it was a bad charger all along. A $450.00 VS $45.00 sale...how honest is RPE...I don't know and never will. It's just too suspicious for me to get over...I will not go back. read more
