I wanted to love this massage (and based on the reviews, thought I would), but I have been in so…read moremuch pain since coming here two days ago. The massage was way, way too much pressure and when I asked for less pressure I was told "no pain no gain" as the therapist chuckled lightly. I tried to push through the discomfort but it was a huge mistake and in hindsight I should have walked out. Another big issue I had is that I specifically told the front desk person and the massage therapist I needed most attention on the right side of my neck. Yet over the course of a ninety minute massage, my neck was only dealt with for the final ten minutes, so besides my back and knee hurting really bad for the past two days, my neck pain has seen no improvement at all. Really, really disappointed and will not be returning.

The people who work here are just unbelievably kind, and always go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. I've never had trouble making an appointment day-of, and I've had a different masseuse every time and they've all been great! I usually choose to do the Thai combo massage, this time I did 75 minutes (but I wish I'd done longer!) This time I had Martin -- he was very friendly and fun, but not overly chatty, so I still felt relaxed. And he did a great job checking in with me about the pressure he was using, and making sure I was comfortable, at the right temperature, etc. He even managed to massage my legs a little which is no easy task -- I'm SO ticklish on my legs. I asked for medium pressure this time (medium firm last year was also great, but I wanted a little more relaxing and a little less intensity today). I'm sure it's challenging to guess what "medium" means to each person, but he really nailed it! The receptionists are always so nice too, and this time for my birthday she gave me a cup of tea and few other things after my massage.
