I don't write a lot of reviews, but Eurasia Auto has earned this one. Over the last year, I've spent a lot of money maintaining and repairing my 2015 VW Touareg. As anyone who owns an older German vehicle knows, finding a shop that is both highly skilled and trustworthy is not easy. Eurasia Auto has proven to be both. I brought my Touareg in with an intermittent misfire that another shop had been unable to diagnose. At first, the issue wouldn't act up for them either, and instead of guessing and throwing parts at it, they were honest about what they found and asked me to continue driving and monitoring it. When the issue eventually became a constant misfire with a flashing check engine light and EPC warning, they methodically worked through the diagnosis. They swapped coils, performed compression testing on all cylinders, scoped the ignition system, and ultimately traced the issue to a failed injector. While the intake was removed, they also addressed a leaking valve cover. What impressed me most was what they didn't do. They inspected the intake valves for carbon buildup and determined that walnut blasting was not necessary, even though they could have easily added it to the bill. The vehicle now runs great, and I have confidence that the repair was done properly for the right reasons. The team communicates well, documents their findings, and takes the time to diagnose issues rather than simply replacing parts and hoping for the best. Their pricing has always felt fair for the quality of work being performed, and they stand behind what they do. If you own a Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, or any European vehicle in the Edmonton area, I would not hesitate to recommend Eurasia Auto. Highly skilled, honest, and fair. 2400.00 later and my old BMW X3 is ready for the scrap yard because of whatever these guys did to it... Took the car in for a couple of minor sensor replacements and an oil change,but ended up getting more done, as per my wishes and as they kept coming up with more things to consider fixing. The problem with the car now, is that there's new and bigger issues with it than before these guys got their hands on it. When the car went in, I had just returned from a drive to Vancouver. Smooth as silk, 130-140kms / hr. Now it's lucky if I can get it to 100KPH without shaking off the seat. There was no exhaust back pressure when I took it in, now there is...took it back to them three times and they say nothing is wrong with the car, except that it's getting miled out. BS. The car was fine. Now it's not. Do not go to this shop. read more

Well, I said I would write another review if I got my car fixed at Eurasia. I got my car fixed at Eurasia. So it turns out that because I am a girl, they tried to rip me off! The original quote they gave me included something else that I had nothing to do with the problem. When I told them I only wanted the one thing fixed, I got a good quote so I decided to go ahead and get it done there because it would have $300 more to get it done at my dealership. So I dropped my car off to have the work done. I was told it would be ready for lunch time. At 2:00pm, I still hadn't gotten a phone call so I called them. I was informed that they didn't know how long it would be because the guys working on it were all out for lunch. They called me a bit later to let me know my car was almost ready and that it would be more expensive than I was originally told. They replaced another part without my authorization! I'm a girl, I'm not stupid! Once I informed them that they are not able, by law, to do unauthorized work on my vehicle, they took the charge off of my bill and discounted the final price. I appreciate that they discounted the final cost for me but they shouldn't have tried to rip me off in the first place! I do not recommend this place. read more

I have only spoken called Eurasia to get some quotes and they seemed alright. The prices they gave me were a bit better than the other places I had called and the gentleman on the phone was really polite and seemed like a straight shooter. I didn't end up going with Eurasia because I found another place that offered much better prices but now I am surprised to see that the other review is so negative. Most mechanics try to tell you that there is more wrong with your car than there actually is but to actually go and put things in without confirming with you is a bit alarming. It's also pretty shady. I don't think I will ever be going here, regardless of the good quotes. read more

I brought my 2017 VW Jetta Wolfsurg edition into Eurasia for its 30,000kms inspection. They had been suggested to me by a friend for their price and friendliness. Their price was half of what VW had quoted me and could get me in far quicker as well. I will continue to bring my car here for all its needs in the future. read more

I've brought my MINI cooper in for an oil change and just recently brought it in again because my check engine light was on and I was having some issues with my right headlight. Eurasia Automotive did not disappoint. I had made my appointment ahead of time but I had to change it and they were able to accommodate this request easily. Then when I called again to ask if I could drop my car off earlier they also let me come by. When they called me to tell me about the work that needed to be done they thoroughly explained why my check engine light was on and also explained the issues with my headlight. I had done some research on the cost of repairing what I suspected was wrong with my headlight because I wanted to know what would be considered a fair price for this work. I was happy when Eurasia quoted me a fair price and were able to complete the job the same day. My family has been going to Eurasia Automotive for years and has never had any problems. From an old X5 to other MINI coopers we are happy to say we are loyal customers. read more

I have been dealing with Eurasia Automotive from roughly 2007 and found their service so outstanding that it has influenced the choice of vehicles I now drive. From 2004-2010 I owned a 2002 Passat GLS with a turbo 4 cylinder engine and a 2003 Passat Wagon with a V6. Both vehicles were purchased used and still had remaining factory warranty when first owned. Accordingly, I originally used the service department at Southgate Volkswagen for my service needs. My complaints with the dealership service was the high cost and work not being completed on time so, after a few years, I began to look for another garage to service my vehicles. I contacted Eurasia Automotive via phone to ask about prices for common service items and found their prices to be less than that of the dealership. Eurasia serviced both Passats for a few years until both cars were replaced with new Nissan Altima's. As this is a review of Eurasia, I won't go into the problems with the Altimas, Nissan Canada and the dealership Go Nissan South suffice to say their purchase was a huge mistake and I ended up replacing both cars before the 5 years of zero percent financing was done. When I decided the Nissans needed to be replaced, I only considered vehicle manufactures that were serviced by Eurasia, namely: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Mini, Porsche and VW. In 2013 I purchased a new BMW 328xi followed a few months later by a used BMW X1. Both vehicles came with 4 years regularly scheduled oil changes at the dealership until early 2016. I now use Eurasia Automotive for all my vehicle servicing and am totally satisfied with their service. I wholeheartedly recommend Eurasia to any friends or coworkers that drive a european vehicle. Do not be intimidated by the $100,00 Porsches and Ferraris that are sometimes parked outside. Eurasia Automotive does honest work for a fair price. read more

I'm surprised to the see the negative review below. Eurasia has done work on my 2001 Jetta for a few times now and they've always been honest about everything. Though my fiancé tends to deal with them so maybe they are more honest with guys. They have always given us a better quotes than at the dealership, and have been honest with us when the dealership hasn't. For example, after bringing in the car for a routine oil change, the dealership told us that all four brake pads were worn out and would have to be changed, for a ridiculous cost. We went to Eurasia for a second quote and they told us that while the brake pads were somewhat worn out, the back ones had a few more years left and the front ones about a year. And their quote was much less than the dealership. They also always wait to hear back from us before going ahead with any work, and have generally been able to squeeze us in for last minute appointments. They are also pretty good with giving us an accurate time for when they think our car will be ready. Their shuttle system isn't the best (can take a while to get to/from, and it stops running pretty early so I usually have to duck out of work early to make the last one) but at least they do have one. I do recommend them but I have to be honest that I haven't gotten any other quotes from other places since we switched over to them, so I can't say if they are indeed the cheapest. read more

Two issues were never resolved yet they kept charging me more and more dollars without the problem being solved. Each time I went back more bucks needed to be spent. They said well if it is not this it must be that. After spending over 3000 dollars over 2-3 years on my older used BMW I took all my service records to them to have them explain to me why I should continue to do business with them. After no satisfaction from them I took my car to a BMW dealership that fixed both issues the first time. Wow! I thought a dealership would cost more. Not a chance. Avoid this repair shop. The only thing I was ever happy with was simple things like oil changes or their free car wash! What a waste of time and money. Don't waste yours. read more

Never go this place. They would steal your money until the last penny. I got a check engine sign on my Mercedez R 320 and went to this place. They did not know the problem and said it was OK and just keep driving and come back if I got the problem again. I drove for a while and got the check engine on and off and finally car went the limp mode. So I went to back to this place. They checked the car again and asked me $4,900 !!!! to fix the problem. So of course I suspected the problem had been getting worse after they could not found the cause of the problem at first time. But they denied and said it was a different problem. Anyway I could not trust them at all and escaped from this place with my car. Moreover, I still had to pay more than $300 only for checking with doing nothing (in fact, wasting of time and losing good chance to fix the problem early). read more

They are reasonably priced and do a good job. However their shuttle service is pathetic. My advice, take a cab. The guy was 1 hour late; he could not find simple address and blabbered for the entire trip. Most certainly this has reassured me that Eurasia is a good place to get my car checked. I understand that it was a free courtesy shuttle. However, what life has taught me is that nothing is free. Shuttle service has become industry norm and after spending 800$, with most certain possibility of spending 700$ in near future and 200-300$ on regular service I would have presumed that 5$ expense on shuttle must be reasonable. Anyway, that is not my place to tell, so I accept your position that 'COURTESY' shuttle can be sloppy. What I most certainly would hope is that the driver does not assure me that he will be in 30 min and not show up for an hour. I took my car to these guys and they could not find an ignition switch to start it up nor did they try to contact me until they gave after about two hours. They then called me and said I could come and pick it up. When I got there there they made me sign a Waiver of no liability and pay $300.00 and then they told me they couldn't get it started. If you have money to throw away these guys will do you a big favour. read more

I took my BMW to Eurasia for an oil change Thursday and friday when I drove it it started chugging, not to sure. All weekend it chugged and finally today Monday it died on yellowhead after a giant chug and the check engine light came on. I am a female but I drive a new BMW and I know my car had nothing wrong with it before I got it done. I agree with the last girl what do you think i am just a "stupid girl". I havent called yet to mention this we will see how this goes. read more

I really would like to give positive review for Euroasia as a huge job has been done in this shop for my mercedes. I was lucky that insurance covered my cost. After some evaluation and observation I can say that there are others and giving better service than Euroasia. First off all they are very expensive. Cheaper than dealer but still expensive, Second of all their mechanics are not that competent. They cannot find the problem at first and you need to pay for their wrong judgement or repairs. Anyway I won't go there and as I said try other shops first and Euroasia should be your last resort. read more
