Was excited to try this place because the options on the menu looked good. Place was pretty crowded but I was willing to be patient. But after being sat down we had waited for more than 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by the server. Seemingly the waitress wanted to make it known that we are being ignored because she had waited on someone who had just sat down directly in front of us. When we walked in we were asked about a reservation and we said no but I am unsure if they are prioritizing them over walk in. But it would've been something to say before seating us. I hope this was just a slammed and bad day but it seemed rude for no reason. I will not be coming back, server had colored hair. Otherwise the location and surrounding area are very nice. This is our third weekend in a row coming here! For our appetizer, we got the Brussel sprouts. They were crunchy and the sauces were amazing - chimichurri and an orange chili sauce I believe. We'd for sure order that again! I decided to try something new for my entree. I ordered the Eureka burger. It was perfect! The burger was juicy and all the flavors worked so well together. Usually Eureka! knocks it out of the park for us. That's why we were a little disappointed on our most recent visit. We ordered the same as always, the Fresno fig with sweet potato fries and the wagyu bone marrow burger with mac and cheese balls. The bacon was on the chewy side and there was more sauce than usual on the Fresno fig. I love the sweet potato fries covered in the honey and cinnamon, but they unfortunately discontinued doing that. In Seattle when we went they did it that way for us when we asked. They did here as well, but it was just drizzled on top and not coated, so we got to plain fries very quickly. The bone marrow burger came with lots of marrow and the mac and cheese balls were good, but not as cheesy and saucy as normal. read more

We ate takeout from eureka! In palm desert and we were glad we could eat in at the Eureka! In Redlands (a mini Pasadena with a ton of great paces to eat). We were seated fast, welcomed warmly, and our server was very knowledgeable with the menu. Service was great throughout. We had Mac n cheese balls which were great. I'm actually really disappointed with my to go order. Old, stale fries. Everything was cold and i came literally when it was available for pickup. There was 0 condensation on the lid indicating the food was never hot. My burger is very pink (more than med rare. I've been coming here since the week they opened. Liked the beers and the food, and once they got the full bar, the drinks. Unfortunately, every menu change over the years has sacrificed quality and the customer experience for profit. I mean I know that years ago the switch from asparagus to broccoli rabe saved money but who would prefer eating it? Now they have dropped their signature beet veggie patty for the same crappy frozen veggie patty every place else has. My vegetarian friends literally only go er, went here for the beet burger. We walked in today after a two year hiatus expecting the food to be exactly the same as it used to be. Two our surprise, it was absolutely horrible. The mac & cheese is microwaved, the barbecue burger has shoestring onion rings, or the thin onion rings, and you could not even separate them, which was very odd when biting them. They were very hard, my wife ordered the fish tacos... They came out cold. Specifically asked to make sure that there's no greens inside of the street corn and they bring me a bowl full of greens in the street corn. All in all, definitely won't be going back over there unless they go back to their old ways making food fresh. The barbecue burger that I got, you can tell that they froze the meat and cooked it. It didn't even taste like a fresh burger. Management...can't be selling garbage like this to restaurant goers. Oh... The plates were filthy and also the water bottle that they bring out had food on the side of it. This restaurant needs a reality check and a company meeting. Tonight I came alone, sat at the bar and got great service. I ordered a hazy IPA, the fish and chips and for dessert a Penicillin. Their signature fries are great! The food came out hot. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and truffle cheese fries the most I went on Tuesday and the burger of the day was bison, but wanted to try the Fresno fig burger instead. Such a wonderful and memorable experience! Food was tasting great. Honorable favs were the honey cinnamon sweet potato fries and the double smash burger. On our way out, I informed the host that we had been waiting for over 20 minutes with no one even offering us water as a heads up for the terrible service.
