The one thing we didn't like was that we had to sit on benches to have a big party on the patio. But the atmosphere was worth it on the patio! The food is so basic. It's like Applebees trying to look classy but failing. They don't even Siracha!!!! I got the fish tacos. It was the tiniest measly portion and had absolutely no flavor. There is nothing good. That is healthy at this place. It's only if you're like a bro and want to eat fatty burgers that will give you a heart attack. The only reason why I go is that my husband likes it and it's nice and we can sit outside. But every time no matter what I order I'm incredibly disappointed there's no creativity in the food and when I try to make it better with hot sauce, all they have is they're weird firecracker hot sauce or basic Tabasco any well run restaurant has multiple hot sauce options and I definitely needed it to give the food any kind of flavor. And even when I called it's like all of the employees don't even like the food and they can't do anything about it because their hands are tied because it's run by corporate who seems to be the same people that run Applebee's. I was a little bit skeptical when they arrived at the table. However the flavor and freshness of the fish were really good. Nice, they weren't fried. I never come to Eureka, and honestly I'd only come agin because of our server Tyler made us feel so welcomed & comfortable. I struggle with anxiety & We had ordered the bone marrow burger medium rare- it came out over cooked with no pink. We told Tyler and he sent it back no problem, and was very polite about it. I'm used to servers being rude about it to the point I will just deal with my order being messed up... but the workers here are very chill very nice I felt at home! Alsoooo food is AMAZING. PROS: Covid-friendly dining procedures, tasty food. CONS: Ordering process & mandatory service fee We were lucky enough to get seated right away on the patio on a warm Saturday night after we were quoted over an hour wait at nearby Yardhouse. While we were sat at the "overflow" patio (with no cute lights and heat lamps, we were still comfortable on this particular evening. The food menu is a little limited (especially compared to Yardhouse), but my party of 5 were all able to find something we'd enjoy. We were told to scan the QR code on the table with our phones and place our order through the app. While I've used the QR code menu option at several restaurants during Covid, I have yet to place my order through the phone-- and I don't think it's the best option. Although I realize it's best for the waiters to have as little contact with us as possible, I think it would be easier to require patrons to mask up when a waiter is approaching to take the order. That way, the orders placed at the same time will be brought out at the same time. Otherwise, I think the waiters should wait to bring out the food for a table around the same time. While my party of 5 placed 3 separate orders, we tried to submit them at the same time. However, the food was brought out at different times and my fiance and I awkwardly watched the rest of my party eat for a while. Finally, the host who seated us informed us that there was a mandatory 16% service charge. I've definitely seen that before for big parties, but not as a general policy. It's fine, but it also makes it more awkward at the end of the meal when deciding how to tip - do we just add more to get to 20%? Our table was kind of divided on what to do. Despite these issues, the food was rather tasty. My table ordered the nachos, napa chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, mac & cheese balls, salmon caesar, burger w/fried egg + bacon, and ahi tuna salad. I have been to Eureka before and have not been impressed. Happy to say last night was different. Everything was excellent, the hostess was very accommodating to our needs, polite and friendly. I had the cobb salad and it was great. I was surprised that the chicken was dried out as on those salads it usually is. My husband had steak and frites and he liked it so much he ate the whole thing. I hate to say I went there Saturday Afternoon and had the worst experience imaginable. We waited nearly an hour for our drinks. I had my 8 month old daughter and the server spilled an alcoholic beverage on her while trying to serve us. We got 1 out of the 7 drinks and 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered. When we asked where our drinks were the waiter said one of the drinks takes longer to prepare. The Manager Michael was incredibly rude and acted like we should be fine with waiting since "their cocktails were custom curated". After waiting an additional 20 minutes without our food and getting to ask for another drink since the ones we got were watered down my friend went to the bar. Michael aggressively approached her to tell her to sit down and telling her she was unable to order from the bar and to wait for her waiter. He was loud and disrespectful. At that point was so disgusted by his behavior I asked for our check without the food. I paid over 100 bucks to have a man scream at my child's aunt in a public restaurant. I will never go back to this place. The fact that the bartender and hostess were apologizing for Michael's behavior and that he had lied about the policy of ordering from the bar shows how poorly handled the situation and restaurant is managed. What makes it worse is that family owns a restaurant that's been in business for 15 years and this is no way to provide conflict resolution or customer service. read more

This is the third Eureka I've been. And it's as good as the others! The waitress was super nice. They have good COVID processes: You scan the bar code to get the menu. Then you order from your phone. Everyone at the table can order from their phone. The bar code is specific to the table. Food comes out quick and is really good. We had guacamole/quest/chips, chicken nachos, Brussels sprouts, a couple American burgers with cheese, hot wings, and grilled Ahi tuna salad. Several of these were happy hour items. They also have some good drinks for happy hour. Then you can pay using the app too. It's all very cool. You have limited contact with the staff. Like they bring food and drinks and check in on you. If you're looking for delicious "Americana style" cuisine," you've "found it," at Eureka! located in Roseville, CA. The Roseville Eureka! is a link in a chain of about a dozen restaurants in California, and a few others scattered over the western US. Eureka! is co-anchored in the same building as the small Mexico City based chain La Popular, which I "opened up" just last week. La Popular and Eureka! share the same ownership, the building and the kitchen, but the cuisines are different. As you enter Eureka! you'll be greeted by a friendly staff member who will seat you at the table of your choice. After you're "greeted," the first thing you'll notice is the full service bar which is the centerpiece of the dining room, and is the center attraction. Most of the bar seating is inside, but there is patio seating outside, should you prefer to enjoy your lunch or dinner outside on the patio, during agreeable weather. The dining room is quite... shall we describe? ... "modern American?" and spacious, and decorated very contemporary. The dining room centers around the bar. From the "Burgers" section of the menu, I started with out at the top, and ordered an "Eureka! American" burger, with "Signature Fries." I requested ketchup and ranch dressing on the side, and it was provided to me, "on the house. " The menu describes the "Eureka! American" as, "American Swiss, grilled onion, butter lettuce, tomatoes, house pickles and special sauce." My description? ... one of the tastiest cheeseburgers that I enjoyed at during my countless "foodie" expeditions in western Placer County! The burger started with, as the menu describes as a "Santa Carota carrot-fed Angus beef" with a large, probably about a half-pound of beef cooked medium, at my request, thanks to my friendly hostess, Leah. By the way, Eureka! will prepare your meat to your choice; your host will ask you the preference as your order. The beef - at the heart of the meal - was seasoned to perfection, perfectly cooked and... may I say? ... Perfect. The meat was placed on a buttered, toasted brioche bun, which made for a delicious foundation to the "Eureka! American" burger. Well... not exactly, lettuce and tomato slices anchored the beef - quite unusual for a burger - and the beef was placed on top of the bun, lettuce and tomato. The burger patty was topped a thick slice of what the menu described as "American Swiss cheese." Whatever the case, the cheese was melted perfectly to the burger patty, and the taste sensation was simply amazing. Alright... here it goes... the meat and cheese was topped with a red onion slice that sported grill marks. Can you believe that? How many times do you see a slice of red onion with grill marks? "House Sauce" was basically "Thousand Island Dressing," which wasn't particularly special. However... no ranch dressing, ketchup of mustard was need to enhance the "Eureka! American" burger, as the first bite into this amazing burger transported me to "burger heaven." I requested ketchup - which brings out the "kid" in me - along which ranch dressing, on the side, which was included, on the side, in two small cups, with my delicious lunch. Ketchup and ranch dressing was simply dipping for the fries, as the burger was "stand alone" amazing... The burger came with "Signature Fries," which made for a perfect side dish to this amazing burger. The fries were peeled and sliced - diner drive-in 1960's style - and fried to a prefect light golden brown on the outside, yet tender and white inside. Delicious! Sliced parsley topped the fries, which added to the taste and the presentation. Delicious deep fried to a very light golden brown on the outside and slightly "crispy," yet tender, juicy and white inside. As the old saying goes, "Come for the burger, but stay for the fries..." As the Greek word "eureka" implies, at Eureka!, I've "found it," when it comes to an amazing burger and fries. Such a great burger and fries! Friendly service. The price of the meal was on the "hi-side" but fair and reasonable. I left a 20% gratuity, thanks to the great food, the amazing service, and the great photos. Thanks! This was an unexpected treat during a day of playing tourist. We were looking for a late lunch spot and saw this on Yelp. Tried to book a reservation but the soonest available was a few hours out. We decided to show up and see what the wait was like. Easy parking. Great location. Walked in and were told only a 30 minute wait. About 25 or minutes later, I got a text to return. Seated and the waitress came by promptly. We looked at the menu while waiting so we immediately ordered an appetizer (cheesy fries) and entree burgers. My wife got the fig burger and got Mac and cheese balls as her side. I got the cowboy burger with broccolini on the side. The fries as an appetizer were spectacular. That cheese dipping sauce is something I would buy in a jug and take home. Yum! The burgers were cooked exactly as ordered and the ingredients made for yummy combinations. The fig burger was delicious but a few bites were plenty. A bit sweeter than I like my burgers. The cowboy had the perfect amount of toppings. The barbecue sauce was a bit heavy but I removed a bit and that made it perfect. The broccolini was a bit undercooked. It was crispy but also kinda cold. Not enough to really worry about but something to note. We had some "fancy" drinks - ginger lime and a lavender iced tea. The ginger lime was ok - not the best. My wife though the lavender iced tea was too floral. Quite surprising coming from her as she loves lavender beverages. We added a bit of still water to our drinks and we both liked them more.
