Eureka has a great environment, food, and their monthly whiskey subscription is pretty amazing. Parking is easy to find in their large lot. Service is always pretty solid, my lone complaint would be the person that helped me last was utterly clueless about earning or redeeming rewards items and points and I left overpaying for my meal. Their food is consistently fresh, hot, and made with high quality ingredients. A few items have missed the mark for me, notably their mac and cheese bites and truffle fries. I wasn't super impressed with either. Their carrot finished beef burgers made up for the shortcomings of those two appetizers. They have a great bar and their whiskey list is one of the better ones in the area. It's a great place for a casual meal and I look forward to trying their adjoining taqueria opening in the coming months. read more

Used to go to the Eureka in concord and been to this location in Roseville 1 other time before. We've moved and now this is the closest one to us. We came in and noticed that it was updated the ambiance inside is so nice the vibe is great for dates or groups. They had the game playing while we enjoyed our food and drinks. This place has my favorite restaurant burger ever - the Fresno fig. Went for my bday with my family last night and that was unavailable as well as my fiancé's favorite, the jalapeño egg burger because they moved all the unique burgers they have to a rotating "classics" section of the menu... so now if we want to come back we'd have to pick which day either *one* of us can get our favorite, but we can't both get our favorites...? Such a bizarre decision to put every burger you can't get anywhere else on a rotating schedule and then the ones available every day are (in my opinion) basic burgers you can get anywhere! The burger I had to settle for was fine but nothing I'd go out of my way to come back for. My fiancé didn't like his at all. My brother and his wife had never been and were underwhelmed with their burgers too, and both of them would have ordered our favorites given the choice. Super disappointing. At least we can still get our favorite apps: the ahi stack and the Brussels sprouts are very good. I went for lunch once and tried the fish tacos and thought they were only "fine" too, so overall I feel like I just don't know what to get anymore if it's not a day my burger is served. Makes me less likely to make the effort to go at all. Please fix the menu, Eureka! Our waitress encouraged us to leave a review because she's had so many complaints. This location is a go to for me ever since moving inward from the Bay Area. My friend and I came in after a stressful day and found out through our server they changed up the menu: No more spinach artichoke dip, which was a popular item. No more chicken tenders on the adult menu, it's on the kid's menu only. The rib size has changed drastically. It used to be a good rack, now it's pieces. I love Eureka. So I found out about this place by seeing a fellow Yelper's check-in. I had never heard of it before so I messaged her and said "hey, how long are you going to be there? should I drop by?" I didn't get an answer for two days and I guess I'm glad I didn't drop by that night because this place was like the fifth place they visited that night and things were getting ugly. Enough about them and on to Eureka! I was out late at night and still hadn't eaten which dramatically cuts back the choices of places to go and I remembered the fateful night mentioned above and dropped by! I really liked the looks of the place as I walked in - liked the layout and decor, etc. The weather was nice, so I opted to sit outside. I didn't spend a lot of time inside, but it did seem to be a bit on the noisy side (which isn't unusual at all, given the number of people - just an observation). My waitress was a sweetie - she pointed out that it was their late "happy hour" and pointed out the happy hour items. Seemed to be a pretty creative menu... and I decided to have a few of the appetizers from the happy hour menu - I chose the Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts and Deviled Eggs. For a drink, I chose the Old Fashioned and figured "what the hell" and went with the upgraded High Wheat Double Rye option. Everything was great! I needed just a smidgen more, so I decided to give the Lollipop Corn Dogs a try too - also great, and I really liked the sauce that came with it as well. The bill was a bit on the spendy side - mainly because of the upgraded drink, but I didn't mind... I didn't expect it to be cheap. I'll be sure to drop by again sometime! read more

We waited over an hour for food orders, another 45min for our food, received raw potatoes, and one of our parties dishes arrived after the rest of us had finished eating. We were a little embarrassed we picked this place and found ourselves constantly apologizing to our friends. 2. A manager reached out to offer us a gift card to try them again, we accepted, and he never got back to us. :/ Not sure what's going on with this establishment, but we highly recommend going somewhere else. Went last night with a party of 10 to celebrate my 40th birthday. They had our table ready on time but beyond that the rest of service was awful. We sat there for almost 30 minutes before water was dropped off, then waited another 10 minutes for our waitress to finally come take our order. She seemed a bit flustered and overwhlemed, maybe she had too many tables that night. The appetizers came out after our main dishes. All the burgers were overcooked and very dry. I got the double smash and it looked like the just put two slices of packaged cheese on it. Not melted and had no sauce at all. After eating we waited another 30+ minutes just to get the checks and then had to waive someone down to actually pay the bills. For the longest time the worst service I got was from BJ's. But now that honor will unfortunately go to Eureka. Not sure we will be back. Was really excited to celebrate my 40th but just left disappointed. read more

Summer Daze spritz was delicious. Perfectly chilled , sweet enough and has taste of citrus. Ahi poke were fresh and delicious. Service was average. We came here in a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 in late winter, nearing spring and the place was pretty busy. Nevertheless, we were seated right away at a high top inside the restaurant. We chose to sit indoors because it was a brisk day in the low 60's. Pros: delicious, well prepared food, dog friendly patio, comfy cozy patio during a brisk day, extensive drink menu, great happy hour...and sports stuff, if you're into that. Cons: slow and inattentive service, cold inside of the restaurant during a brisk day. The menu is a variety of classic casual american food with several different burger options. The place has all the makings of a sports bar but the vibe and decor is a little more elevated. So a woman can easily wear a sundress and not be overdressed. The TVs were viewable from every seat and featured ESPN and ESPN 2 shows that thankfully weren't blasting in volume. The service was very slow. It took close to 10 minutes before our server took our drink order. I had to ask for my water twice before they brought it. The inside of the restaurant was quite cold. They had 3 doors open to the outdoors that created a very cold and constant breeze, even though we were indoors. We should have sat on the patio and we should have brought our dog. They welcome dogs and the patio is full of heating lamps that made it more warm and cozy than the inside. They also had a modern looking fire pit but it was high off the ground and appeared to be more for looks than function. Part of the bar is outside, so it feels a little like you're on vacation in Mexico when you sit there. We both ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and delicious. The fries were similar to what you get at In N Out burger, but slightly lighter in texture. If you like pickles, theirs are homemade and delicious on the sandwich. My husband ordered a Coke and I had their spicy watermelon hibiscus non boozy mocktail. The mocktail was tasty but not overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. The spicy salt was on 1/2 the rim so you could easily enjoy this mocktail without the spice. I alternated sips so some got salt and some didn't. They had lots of mixed alcoholic cocktail offerings and a great beer menu with a little something for everyone. The food wasn't too bad but it wasn't good enough to the price. You can get better quality at similar class restaurants. I ordered the chicken tenders. There was a very thin piece of chicken and about twice as much breeding. The salad was also not impressive as there was not enough dressing to give it a flavor. The salmon and fries were good. The look and feel of the restaurant was good and calm. Good for families and small gatherings. You can sit outside, inside or at the bar. There are also plenty of TVs all around. Now service is the reason for my rating. We were seated at the front of a couch. It wasn't very comfortable so once a booth opened up, I asked the hostess if we could move there. She checked and said yes it was available. She said she would clean it and then we could move there. We waited for about 10 minutes and they kept running around and no one cleaned the table. Finally they sat someone else there and came to us and said "sorry, it was reserved". Our waitress came to greet us and then to take our order and then brought the check at the end. Never came to check if we needed anything else. Overall, I don't recommend this place. read more
