The collaborative design work by Robert turned out beautifully and with high quality materials from great cabinets to tiles and the Kohler fixtures, tubs and toilets. The project oversight was great by Robert and by Matt and the price was comparable to other quotes received. The detailed workmanship by Dario and Alex over the five months was outstanding, and they kept the work area neat and organized, so the mess was kept to a minimum (and there is a lot of mess to bathroom remodels!). This review is for Pearl Design Group's Lakewood Countertops Division. I was in need of new…read morecountertops and went to several places to quote the Wilsonart HD Laminate tops, including another kitchen store in St. Charles and the box stores. Lakewood Countertops at Pearl Design Group came in at half the price of the store in St. Charles. It was about $100 more than the box stores, but Lakewood was willing to come out and measure and deliver the tops when complete, so I felt their price was worth it. Also, they explained why their process was better than the box stores. The counters looked amazing and were well done. They did have to redo the backsplashes because I needed them 1/4 inch taller than normal and someone misread the instructions, but they came and picked them up and fixed them and brought them back to me, so I can't complain!

He said I could try to do it myself if I wanted. Took months, which I know is resulted from covid, but not happy with how things turned out. Go elsewhere if you can, but this was the only place that sold what I needed to match existing items.

They were patient with us and the process (after we fired our first contractor for leaving an open gas line after demolition, not getting permits, and other issues). Kyle and Kornel collaborated with the new contractor, measured, re-measured and measured again to make sure everything was perfect. And it is! We have a small kitchen, but they made us feel as if we were their biggest and most important customer, kind and super responsive. Even after the job was finished and fully paid for, they came back to address a small issue to limit a cabinet from hitting another cabinet adjacent to it when we opened it. Like I said, it's a small kitchen. Their attention to detail, patience, consideration & integrity is amazing! They took time to answer our questions and explain everything.
