My dealer had a 2014 Jaguar XK that had a service now light on that I didn't want to take all the way to Carlsbad or Riverside to clear... after a quick Google search and finding that they worked on Jaguar models, I called in and spoke to Jason who immediately told me to bring it and they would look at it. I brought it in an hour later and within 20 minutes, their tech was able to manually clear it... apparently the instructions were in the owners manual on how to do so. The level of customer service by Jason and his team was basically the complete opposite of my experience at the Jag dealer in Carlsbad. To boot, the inside of this place was clean and very well-maintained. Overall, I was very impressed and hope that I can have the same experience if I ever come back for something else. read more

Great customer service every time. I've taken my Land Rover here a few times to repair damage from rodents. They are very professional and always call with updates on my vehicle. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to dealer prices and I've been happy every time I've been back to pick up my vehicle. I am only giving 4 stars because there was one incident where the wires were possible hooked up incorrectly and my washer fluid didn't work on the front windshield. Had been a customer here for 3 years with no complaints until now.. had my Land Rover LR4 in for a coolant leak , had oil change done also paid $886. And thought all was fixed with a new thermostat. Drove home( Escondido) , only drive to the store and lite came on for coolant being low, called business was informed " that's normal, no need to worry", came home and smoke emerged from hood and a flood of fluid surged from under car , called business AGAIN, was informed " you need to get car here, we don't do that", asked to speak to owner, he NEVER called, my husband text him, he NEVER replied. Absolutely DISGUSTED with this non professional attitude. After taking my money, they show NO care or acknowledgement of their failure to have repaired my car correctly , and blow me off . WILL NEVER RETURN ! Update to owners reply Had to have my car towed into repair shop in Escondido, as this shop disregarded any involvment to help my disabled car that they didn't repair correctly, and I paid for, it was fixed at west Escondido Automotive( Thank God they were part of that warranty program) and was informed that hose clamps were NEVER put on , causing the coolant explosion. I have a 2011 Range Rover and someone recommended European Autowerks as the place to go in Temecula. We had moved from San Diego and wanted a reliable local shop. I was not disappointed! In January the car battery was replaced and the computer system was reset. Recently I had another problem with the battery and alternator not charging properly. The battery was replaced at no charge and a new alternator was installed at a very reasonable price including a 24 month warranty . Bottom Line Up Front- European Autowerks is a solid business with a well-honed check-in process, highly trained vehicle specific mechanics, and strong ties to the local community. If you are looking for a $19.99 oil change then this is not the place for you, but if you are wanting to get your Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, etc. serviced by a well-trained staff that knows that they are doing and will treat your car like its their own then this is the place. I brought my 2002 Porsche Boxster S in for an oil change, coolant flush, and new front brakes and they did a fantastic job using OEM products, at half of the price that the dealer wanted. Before they even began working on my car, they sent an email identifying each major system in the car with a comprehensive checklist that they perform. Any potential issues identified were backed up with links to videos explaining the process and whether the maintenance is a down the road or a right- away requirement. Once I let them know what I wanted done they provided a good timeline and then called me when the work was completed. They fixed the wiring issue from rats that activated my engine light androgen saved me $1000 for a motor mount replacement that Firestone incorrectly diagnosed and said was broken. On May 13, 2021 we brought our 2008 Jaguar Vanden Plas to European-AutoWerks for the reason of correcting the CATS system fault. They had the car for three weeks, returning it to us with more problems than it had when we left it with them. They replaced a connector to one of the struts, causing the CATS system fault code to go away. Their inspection of the rest of the car revealed a "severely" leaking rack and pinion. This was approved by us for replacing. These two repairs cost us over $2200. As mentioned above, they had the car for three weeks. Every day I would call and ask for an update, to which they would replay, "tomorrow or the next day, at the latest." I would call again the next day , requesting an update, to which they would replay, "tomorrow or the next day, at the latest." This went on for three weeks. On June 2, 2021, while on our way to European-AutoWerks to pick up our car, we were called by them and informed that the air conditioning motor had failed and needed to be replaced. Their recommendation regarding the replacement of the motor was based on, as they stated, the motor getting electrical current and not turning. We declined. Upon entering the car we found that the driver side seat would not move. They checked for codes and none were found. I suggested that it was a fuse. This notion was countered by them stating that it would have showed up on the code reader. Later that afternoon, I examined the fuses, find one that was burnt. After replacing that fuse both the air conditioning motor and the seat started working. It seems very strange that the motor would receive electrical current with a burnt fuse in the circuit. During our drive home, the CATS system fault warning, the original problem, came on again. The next day the power steering began to malfunction. This time we decided to take the car to Hoehn Jaguar Land Rover in Carlsbad, not being able to be without our car for another three weeks. They found that while replacing the connector on the strut European-AutoWerks incorrectly routed the wires over the exhaust, causing the wires to burn. They also found that while replacing the rack and pinion they incorrectly routed those wires, causing them to burn as well. Hoehn was able to correct both in two days. When I contacted them regarding these issues, seeking restitution, they politely replied that they had nothing to do with these problems, except the power steering failure, which they ignored completely. When I emailed them back regarding the power steering, they refused to respond. You might ask why we didn't return to European-AutoWerks so that they could repair their mistakes. Well, first, they denied having anything to do with the problems with which they sent us home. Second, they had the car for three weeks, returning it to us with more problems than it had when we left it with them. Who in their right mind would return to them after that? We could not afford any more damage to our car. The burnt fuse in a circuit getting electricity was very suspicious. I just hope the rack and pinion actually needed replacing. We do not recommend European-AutoWerks in Temecula. read more

I took my car here based off the reviews since my check engine light was on. For my first visit, they said to replace camshaft sensor and do an oil change to which I agreed. This took about 7 days and no other issues were found on the car. They told me that check engine light was still on, and had to replace the timing chain and other parts involving that so I took the car home for about a week since I needed it, that had it towed back to their shop for another 25 days. Total amount of time they had my car was roughly a month. Near the end of the 3rd week, I receive a call saying my car repairs were completed and if I wanted to smog it which I said yes. One day later, I get a call saying my car has an Oil Leak and it will cost $650 to fix it, and I tried telling them that my car never had an oil leak, just sometimes coolant. (I had my car since covid started parked and no oil leak at all, just a tiny few drops of pink coolant dripping on a pan). I told them no, since I thought they had it mistaken for coolant since it was dark on pavement, but nope they were correct it was a massive oil leak. Which begs the question, why would they not realize my car had an oil leak for the first 3 and a half weeks and magically has an oil leak the day before I pick up my car? Anyways, they tried shifting the blame saying my car was 1.5 quarts low on oil (which I did on oil change, never topped off) and found "oil residue" on lower part of engine. Be very careful taking your car here, I have the paperwork from first visit of no oil leak while they did an oil change. Also phone call / text from near the end of the 3rd week saying my car has an oil leak but was never found before and mind you, the state at which they gave me my car, is leaking oil every few hours. Does that sound logical to you? Goodluck if you take your car here, hope you have better results than I did. read more

Mini with 146k miles on it , mostly @ dealer but well maintained , lost its AC cool and had a couple random mileage related issues. 2 LA dealer's recommended replacing the main AC unit and several brake items that seemed wrong and super expensive given its service history.. went to scott@ EA and he ran a comprehensive Mini diagnostic. Gave me a good summary of what to do and charged the AC up with some freon and dye to check for leaks and said drive it for 500 miles and then come back.. got it back in a day , great price and responsive service .....i could chill a beverage in there now. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. They are expensive, pompous, and completely out of touch with customer service. I'll keep it short. Spent thousands on a service, two months later engine light is on. The owner SCOTT wouldn't even offer a partial credit on a $200 charge to diagnose it. I was also told that it would NOT be credited to any needed service if I chose to move forward with the service. Found the same service MUCH CHEAPER at a local 5-STAR shop. "I have to pay my guys first." That was his response when after a $4,200 bill two months earlier I was asking him to waive - or even partially credit - the diagnostic fee. HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Took my vehicle to this shop because it was recommended by AAA. I called over and over the next day and never got a response. Finally someone called me and said the person working on my car was out and they would call me the next day. Never got a call. When I did get a hold of someone they said they inspected my car but never did and I kept getting the run around. I finally showed up to get my vehicle and found a few things broken that didn't pertain to what I had gotten fixed. They never told me about these things and I had to point them out to them. When I asked the mechanic about these items they lied and said it was dropped off this way. I have photos of my vehicle in their lot with no damages that they claimed I had before I dropped it off. Very disappointed that this was supposed to be a reliable place near my house to take my vehicle to but it ended up being a dishonest place instead. Beware that if you take your vehicle to this location they will break something and tell you to hire a lawyer because they won't fix it. UPDATE: After writing this review the owner Scott called and threatened us. He said he was waiting to hear from our lawyer. read more

I took my Mini Cooper S in for an oil change. The car came back with an oil leak near front of the motor and exhaust leak near the turbo. It turns out European Autowerks had broken the oil filter housing (not good) and damaged the turbo feed line (a disaster which ended up killing the turbo and I had to replace the entire turbo for a couple thousand dollars). Stay away, find a shop with mechanics who know how to work on minis. read more

Came to pick up my 911 C4S from a water pump repair and my window was broken. They pretended like they never noticed. I asked for their vehicle inspection report he did not do one. So no photos or details on my cars condition. And to top it off they did wash my car for me but they took it around the corner to a shity car wash and my car has white marks on all over the weather strips. I always wash my own cars and never would have allowed anyone to wash it. Terrible customer service! I ask for a quote on break while it was there and they never did the breaker inspection. I called and reminded them twice on two different days about the break quote. Owner is a sextus prick and was zero help. Basically told me to get a lawyer and get off his property. This so called Auto repair business had our Jaguar XK-8 for almost 6 months! There were many, many excuses as to why it took so long. They couldn't get parts, they received the wrong parts......had to get more? Couldn't get the story straight. They tried to tell us it was the battery, the battery was brand new! When they told us about the battery "not working" I asked if they could take it out so I could take it to Pep Boys and get a new battery as it was under warranty. They said no, unless we "wanted to pay for their labor to take it out"! Really! I cannot lift a battery or anything over 20lbs which I explained. Beroni their intake fellow, told me "Do you think we can absorb that cost? We have a minimum 15 minute labor charge of $150.00". I was astounded, a repair location that could not do such a small favor! So they said they will be happy to sell us a new battery. Until we did something about the battery they planned to just let the car sit. We had to buy the battery from them as I couldn't life it and my husband works in the OC too late (7pm)to take care of the battery. Our final bill on our Jaguar was $3600.00!! We were sent a message today that read : your Jaguar XK-8 is ready, is running great, has been washed and is ready for pick-up. My husband got in the car to drive it home, I was driving our F-150, the stabilizer light was on!!!! He jumped right back out and went inside. Beroni said that light was on when you brought it in. That light was most certainly NOT ON when we brought it on!!! Oh yes, at one point they called to ask how to open the trunk! We couldn't believe it , how can they say they work on Jaguars if they don't know how to operate them! We are never, ever going back and neither should others take their european autos!
