Igor was very responsive and engaging when diagnosing the issues. Venice Auto Tech was able to source the part which I was told by others would be very difficult to find and replace and program the ABS module in the care. They try and upsell you on many add ons that you don't need for your car (fuel injections, tires that have just been replaced, etc) regardless of the car's age/value, and they frequently do an upsell of about 180 dollars to go deeper than the "free inspection". This add on inspection is very thorough though, and they take videos of different parts of your car, with detailed descriptions of each that you can access for 30 days. Just for full transparency on my car's problem, I had a check engine light go on after a 15 hour drive, and after 1,200 dollars of work, the issue still persisted. They ended up giving me back my car, and quoted me another 5 grand for a very labor intensive part (head gasket), and were very pushy both times with getting me to sign and order the parts right away. I ended up getting a new car since the repairs were worth more than the vehicle, and they didn't offer towing services to the new location. They also took the windshield wipers off of my car before I picked it up to trade in, so I had no wipers?? Overall I think the car was more the issue than Jim Taylor, but I wish I knew all of this info before I came here!

On September 9, 2026, I brought my BMW 340I into Renn Haus to get an alignment. During the…read morealignment, Renn Haus performed an inspection of my vehicle and its mechanical components. I drove the car straight home. The next time I drove the car was September 15, 2026. As I drove the vehicle to Tampa on I-75, I first noticed the steering wheel being off and then I noticed a clicking sound coming from the front end of my vehicle. Upon arrival at my destination I jacked the front of my vehicle up and found the front wheels to have play. I took the wheels off and found both tie rods to be finger tight. Upon closure inspection I found the bushings on both tie rods to now have been blown out. I took the vehicle home, parked it and ordered new tie rods. I installed the tie rods on September 18, 2026, and brought the vehicle back to Renn Haus on Monday September 21, 2026, to get the vehicle re-aligned. I was told that they would not do the alignment as I was trying to get one over on them. They said they mark each tie rod to show they are torqued to spec. Firstly, the tie rods were not marked (I still have them both). Secondly, If the tie rods were bad in the first place Renn Haus' inspection should have identified the issue. It is apparent that Renn Haus' inspection did not find the bushings to be blown out. Lastly, If the tie rods were fine, why would I have to replace them? Extremely unsafe and dangerous!! I'll give it to Renn Haus, their garage is beautiful and clean but clearly their mechanical abilities are beyond lacking. I would not recommend Renn Haus even for a simple task such as an alignment.
