My grandmother took her BMW to them for an oil change and maintenance and every one was very helpful and friendly. The car was done in a timely manner and the service was excellent. The cost of the service was outstanding. They were very accommodating when it came to bringing her home and picking her up when the car was ready. The fabricated a story about a bolt being loose when I went to see what they found and wanted to test drive the vehicle with the technician they said that they didn't have time for that after they charge me an hour didn't even want shopping. They took two pictures. When I got the bill, it was supposed to be one hour labor. They added more money with fees. Like hazmat and Shop tools it's a program that automatically takes a percent wise of your bill and add fees on it Don't waste your time. By far one of the worst repair shops in Spokane and Spokane valley! This shop has had my Audi for 3 weeks in February. After doing a list of unauthorized work on the vehicle,which included a "new" water pump, it failed the next day.Have had the car in for additional repairs that were allegedly done the first time and still failed within days. Was told it would be done Friday and again,not done! This shop will tell you they will call with updates and do not follow through on that either. Horrid service! If you know your vehicle, or know how shop time works (how shops bill labor,) then you will know right away they try to double charge for work. Example, you are having work done. A few components need either unbolted and set aside, or completely removed to get to the main component you are having worked on. If this shop suggests another component needs replaced, the labor estimate is for the full removal and installation of that component. The component that is ALREADY being set aside to complete the initial work. Double labor charge. Parts are double or more. And I do not mean brand name (Audi, BMW, Land Rover, etc,) vs corner store parts. I mean direct brand replacement part number vs direct brand replacement part number. Factory part to factory part. Did they do the work asked of them? Yes. Were they professionally polite to me? Yes. Even being in a high rent shop on Sprague, and today's high costs of operation, it is MY opinion that they double charge on secondary labor and parts. read more

It's a shame that you can't leave a negative rating, 1 isn't really low enough.  Short review: I spent two afternoons towing my car there and out of there (for which I also had to pay to rent the uhaul to tow it) and paid them almost $200 to "look at it" for an hour, for them to tell me exactly what was wrong with the car when I brought it to them, and that it would cost me another $1800 to simply open it up and look inside. Basically, if I had never brought my car here, I would be up a day of my life and $400. Details below: I recently tried to fix my BMW engine myself, but upon getting it back together, there is a strange rattle that does not throw a code. Diagnosing anything without a code, especially as as a DIY mechanic, is tough, so I figured to bring it to the shop. Make appointment. Rent uHaul. Tow BMW to EuroPro. I described to them when making the appointment and when I dropped off the car that I had worked on it myself, put it back together, there is a strange rattle type noise, and it doesn't throw a code. I get a call that afternoon in which the service advisor says the technician confirms there is a rattle when he started it up. He didn't want to even drive it into the shop because the rattle was strange, and so they needed my authorization to remove the Valve Cover to investigate and check the chains etc. Look at estimate, it's $1800, on top of the $175 I am paying for the "diagnosis". You read that correctly. $1800 to take off the valve cover and inspect the engine. How? Well they included replacing the valve cover (which is a $421 part online) for $667. So I call the service advisor back to clarify, they want me to approve $1800 just to take the valve cover off? Yes. Why did they include replacing the valve cover when it's not a part that needs to be replaced? Apparently, I now learn, they "warranty" the work that they do and so certain parts **must** be replaced to be warrantied.  Can I have them just put the valve cover back on? No.  I can't waive the warranty? No.  Simply to have them open up that piece to look at what's wrong, they **must** replace it, costing me an additional $667. And reading through reviews, the warranty is only one year! In short, pay them $2000 to maybe have a diagnosis about what is wrong with my car while replacing a perfectly fine part that doesn't need to be replaced. I can't call them scammers since they do get you to agree to what you're doing ahead of time but HOLY COW WHAT!! For context, before I worked on it myself, I took it to another European shop in the area who billed me $275 to take the valve cover off and inspect everything, then tossed all the pieces into the trunk when I towed it out of that shop to work on it myself (which I did for reasons unrelated to the shop). I am now towing it back to that shop in a few days (as they were booked out). I wish I could leave less than a zero review, absolute waste of my time, out $400 (paying them and for extra towing), only to be told that I need to pay them an additional $1800 to simply look more into the car. I even see in another post where the owner says something about well the parts are expensive because they are quality yadda yadda, Genuine BMW Valve Cover is available for $421 on FCPEuro.com, as seen in the pictures. I would attach a picture of my estimates if they hadn't deleted them as soon as I declined the service. Also for context, the shop I had my car at previously, they gave me an estimate for the job I ended up doing (or trying to do) myself, the estimate was $3200. EuroPro gave me an estimate for the exact same job in advance (to get my approval to just to a ton of work on the car before they had even diagnosed it) and it was $5100. So by all means, if you just have thousands of dollars to light on fire, the repairs may be fine. I obviously can't speak to the quality of the work as I didn't pay them $2000 to find out what work the car actually may need. This shop has got to be making a killing replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced and then warrantying them for only a year. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Took wife's Mini Cooper Countryman to this shop to get fixed and took them 3 months to diagnose that it had bad gas and needed to replace fuel pump and fuel lines. They also repleced the footwell module. The check engine light was still on when she picked up the car and the mechanic told her to just drive it around the light would turn off. I called them to see what we could do about getting that fixed and they told us they would have to charge us the Shop rate to figure it out. We were still within our 12-month warranty and they would not help us. At month 13, One month outside of the shop warranty the car goes into limp mode because of a bad footwell module. These are not mechanics you can trust these are not family-friendly people. The car is now being fixed at BMW repair shop and multiple mechanics from BMW have tons of horror stories about having to refix what europro has done. If BMW dealership does not recommend this mechanic that must be a sign to stay away. read more

Customer service is friendly but not super communicative. The lounge and customer service area is well kept and looks great. I'm not sure whats going on in the garage but when i got my car back it smelled crazy for a few days. labor is expensive, parts werent terribly priced besides for the 100 dollars they charged me for a v band clamp. Came in because of a sound and got it diagnosed the same day, which i payed 180 dollars for. However Im pretty sure they never even scanned my car (does it cost 180 dollars to get a car on the lift and turn it on?) there was an engine code they never mentioned which i was aware of and they only advised me that my brake light was on, not to say it wasnt nice for the reminder but if i couldnt see that i probably shouldnt be driving (i dont have pad wear sensors). Im not sure if they messed up or not but i think they tried to double charge me on labor, 12 instead of 6 hours. I eventually got my car back after a month, so far so good i dont doubt they do quality work. I dont think it's a bad shop, but for what I'm paying id expect more competence, particularly when your giving me excuses for almost two weeks after you got your hands on the part. what do you mean your master tech left and now you dont have the tools to work on my car? Why did it take you almost a week to code a used transfer case into my car and why isnt your software always up to date? What do you mean you are about to perform over 4 thousand dollars worth of work and i might not be able to drive my car out of your lot? I dont think its a bad shop and i wouldnt reccomend against taking your car/s here. this is only my personal experience, i might return if i ever have problems again, but after ive visted other euro shops in spokane. read more

Had my car in last year to have the work done. Paid 6,000$ and it took almost 3 weeks. Came with a 1 year warranty and I all I wanted was a check for a light that came on shortly after the work was done. Took it in before the warranty was up to have the light turned off. Was initially charged with an inspection fee that was not asked for. Of course they found other problems that they claimed needed done. I was charged for this even though I did not ask for it. No communication between the service managers about work to be done. Was told this light comes will come on all the time and not to worry. I am done going here. Very good prices for my VW, much lower than dealership and I trust their opinion much more. Also, I was doing my brakes myself, and completely stripped out a bolt. Took vehicle in to them, and the guy (knowing I was trying to DIY it) told me something I could try to get it out, with great detail. Then said bring it back and he'll drill it out if it doesn't work. Took it home, and his suggestion worked GREAT! Even though I had already completely stripped it out, drilled into it, broke off two screw extractors inside of it, I got it out no problem with his instructions. Didn't cost me a cent. I was expecting a $200 bill when I showed up there. These guys really know their stuff. They're honest, and go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I don't often leave reviews, but I just had to after my previous good deals with them, and then this today. I _will_ go back to this place for any VW/Audi cars that need work. Not the greatest...I had to keep calling in to get any sort of update on my car. They had already kept it overnight for one night at that point, and I told them I would need an update in the morning to know if I would be able to get to work or if I could work from home. They weren't forthcoming with when my car would actually be ready to take home. Then when I did go to pick it up, it immediately started making a weird noise within 10 minutes of leaving. Turned out they had power washed the engine and didn't dry it, so I had to take it back right away to get it dried. Just not a thorough job. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Europro. I live full time in a 1988 VW Vanagon, and it can be incredibly hard to find a good mechanic for these fickle vehicles. This is potentially the best shop I've been to in the entire country. We were gearing up for a trip to Alaska when our transmission started making some concerning noise in Montana. After a shop in Missoula was unable to diagnose the problem, we limped our way to Spokane. Sven and the team were able to quickly find the issue and give us the bad news we'd been expecting (the transaxle needed replacing). They worked with our travel sponsors to get the part shipped as quickly as possible and made time in their incredibly busy schedule to replace the entire transaxle within a week. While we were waiting for the part to ship, we began having other problems and again Sven was fast with noticing problems the previous mechanic had missed: worn out spark plugs/caps/rotors, and a failing fuel temp sensor. We spent 10 days total at the shop and the entire team was incredibly friendly. They let us work from the shop on our laptops, allowed us to sleep in the van on site when we needed to, offered to borrow us a couple bicycles so we could run around town, and even bought us lunch one afternoon. Sven is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to our specific van. The shop worked quickly, and charged us more than fairly for the work. We left feeling confident in the job they'd done and drove to Alaska and back to the west coast (nearly 6,000 miles) without any issues. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Was traveling to the West Coast from Michigan. My S8 Audi threw a couple of codes and went into limp mode. I was able to reset it and get the car into Spokane. First thing Monday morning I took the car to Europro to get it scanned. They ran the scan for faults and discussed the problems with me. My schedule did not allow the time to repair the intermittent problems as parts we Europe only. They spent a good amount of time running the diagnosis and would not accept any thing for their time. I work in the foreign repair trade and know the cost of time, the cost of a high end scan tool and what a premium operation looks like. I consider this a top notch shop and appreciative of their quick attention to my problems. read more

I brought my Audi to this shop at the recommendation of a very good friend who brings his Audi in routinely. They changed the oil as requested and were asked to look over the vehicle as this car was new to us and our first Audi. They can back and told us there was an oil leak from the engine, however they did not know where it was coming from. They also told ya that the bushings in the frond end were torn and that they had to change out the entire arm to remedy, as they don't recommend just new bushings. Total cost for all repairs were just shy of 3000.00 as an estimate. Depending on the oil leak, could possibly be more. They said we can schedule you in about a week from now. I took the vehicle to Audi spokane and they took about 2 hours to discover no oil leak in motor, only some spillage from the last oil change, and all the bushings were fine. Thank you Audi spokane, you saved me a bundle of $ going to the hands of a very incapable shop called EuroPro motors. I will tell my friend I felt he was dead wrong and I and hopefully others will never bring their vehicle to them again. read more

I would give less then a star if I had the option. Went in for a full synthetic oil change, I had a long trip coming up, paid roughly 150 for the service. After the service was done I kept getting a censor saying that I am low on oil. At first I ignored it because usually after any oil change it takes a little time for the censors to readjust. Three days later I'm more than half way through my trip, and the censor is still going off. So I decide to give them a call, I explained everything and in response he started putting blame on a bad censor and possible leakage of oil, so I stopped buy a gas station, bought a quart of oil and added it in myself. And what do you know, the censor turns off. So basically at this point i am very suspicious if they even did any service to my vehicle. Especially when you're paying $150+ for an oil change. These mechanics are not ASE certified but more like ASS certified. Never again. read more

Called regarding a very normal repair item on my BMW. They said they would call me back the next day. I was ready to have my car towed to them subject to the repair cost being in line. I didn't hear back from them until today, the 21st. 12 days later. The shop acted as though this is very standard procedure for them. Since I didn't hear back I assumed they didn't need my business and have found a new mechanic and he is awesome. Unfortunately too bad as I had heard good things from different reviews. The Mechanic said the order had been sitting on his desk for 2 days. Wonder where it was the previous 10 days. Always and excuse. Took my Volvo here about four months ago to find out why my brakes were making a rough banging noise after I replaced them myself. They took a look at it and recommended that I needed new brake pads, I thought this pretty weird as I had just replaced them but I'm not the EuroPro so I went with it. $65 plus for labor and $40 plus for new pads I was off and not five minutes down the road my brakes were making the same noise. Took it back and they realized it was the actual brake pad tension clips that weren't correct and were allowing the brakes to bounce around. Went to pick up my car and after some deliberation got them to waive the labor cost as it was the second time I had been in to correct the problem. Ended up paying for tension clips but also brand new brake pads that I did not need. Fantastic. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I decided to give them another try as my lock core on my glove box had broke. Called up and was told they would need to look into it to see if I needed a whole new glove box door or just the lock core. I waited two days with no call back, I then called the shop and the guy who answered said he was still looking. He then called me "Chris" and said he would check about my "V50", I reminded him that in fact my name was not Chris and it was a C30.......never heard from them again. read more

I love how they always completely explain what is wrong and what it's going to take to fix it, not just a generic dealer response, "it's broken and we will take a lot of your money to fix it." I love Sven and his wife Heidi and their family members and all their other employees who are practically family. I love them in an appropriate, platonic, and non-stalkery way, of course. Second only to the family at Lois the Pie Queen (see my other reviews), I want this family to adopt me. If I haven't completely creeped them out. My 2001 VW bug is an uppity old lady who likes to go fast but has gotten a little bumpy around the edges. Well, she has 166K miles on her, and I have only had her for about the last 30K, so when she breaks, she breaks expensively. She's high maintenance. And that's...coming from me. Like many people, I have not always had good luck with automotive repair shops. I try and warn people about the really bad experiences, but the mediocre or lackluster ones get no reviews from me, since I don't want to jeopardize their business unfairly. My last several raves over automotive repairs have been justly deserved, and Euro Pro is my favoritist of them all. (And as of this writing, I'm five for five on automotive service in the last twelve months. Don't jinx it.) Sven is efficient and honest. His guys know what they're doing. Everybody is super friendly in the nice and genuine way, not the slimy-used-car-dealer way. The place is always, always busy, though Sven is kind enough to try and fit in people who have an emergency repair and a short window (I know, because I could hear him patiently conversing on the ever-ringing phone). The prices are incredibly reasonable, and if he knows someone who can do it cheaper (he sent me to a muffler shop for my cat because it cost 1/5th what he would charge me) he'll let you know. The lot is always full of Audis and BMWs, so the lux car owners come here for service over the dealership, clearly. First experience: The ever-present CHECK ENGINE light indicated that my ignition coil was boo-boo. Sven offered either a new one or a reasonably good shape used one, and I went with new. (Baby girl sometimes needs a brand new part; it makes her feel saucy.) When I got the invoice, I started arguing with Heidi. She thinks I'm saying the bill is too high, I'm insisting they've forgotten something. Because it would cost me at least $300 more at any reputable Bay Area shop (and probably twice that at the dealership). Sven also checked stuff out generally, and made some future recommendations, but never did he try to upcharge me or do unauthorized work. He's just not that type of guy. He would never take more than twelve items into the express line, and he wouldn't say "I love you" on the first date. Second experience: Then there was the trip through Oregon to California to get the car smogged and registered (we had to pretend to be Californians for a few more months). And, of course, sometime after Bend, the CHECK ENGINE light comes on again. Panic ensues; the light is an automatic FAIL. I call Sven when we have cell service, and in the middle of a busy day and a bad cell phone connection, Sven takes the call, and talks me through it, including the smog laws in Washington as opposed to California. He's kind and comforting and tells it to me straight. (On VWs of a certain age, the CHECK ENGINE light becomes your constant companion. You sneeze, the car wheezes, and it comes on again. But the gasoline formulation between Oregon and California is different, and Oregon gas causes problems equally for Californians and Washingtonians.) He should probably charge me for phone therapy at some point. Third experience: I brought my bad little girl back to Sven to do another thorough check out and to take care of the radiator flange he recommended be fixed the first time. I got an appointment in less than a week and was in and out in a couple of hours. Stopped to argue with Heidi about the price again; I think she's used to folks thinking it's too much, and I'm arguing with her about whether they remembered everything so they don't call me back for something they forgot, or more than likely, eat the extra charge and never mention it. I'm driving her crazy. (That's what family does.) My husband is busy torturing Sven in a never-ending-tells-you-more-than-you-wanna-know conversation. Sven is comforting his dog, who just had his -- uh, manly reputation removed. I make some vague plan about inviting myself to their house for brunch. Heidi rolls her eyes, mentally makes a note to tack on $100 to every invoice for my car, just to shut me up. I guess I'm going to have to break something on my bug just to have an excuse to go back in for service. Like Automotive Munchausen Syndrome. read more

Brought my 2006 mini into them for diagnostics after having electrical problems for a couple months. Everyone I asked told me to go to them since they specialize in European cars but they did very little to help me. After the first round of diagnostics they told me it was a loose battery terminal, charged me $200 and told me to come pick it up and of course I get there and to no surprise she wouldn't start. Realizing that wasn't the problem they told me they would take it back in and look over it again and call me in a couple days. About a week later they call me and tell me they think it might be a fuse and they took it out so my car would stop dying. Their new suggestion, take it to my stereo installer. I go to pick up my car it's another $200+ bill. The next day I go to start my car and it's dead. I gave them a call but they told me tuff luck unless I want to pay ANOTHER $200 for more diagnostics. $400 gone for guess work. It is what it is I guess.
