Runway Auto - The cover that they should've put back on

I just needed a bumper replaced but they not only scratched up my car they messed up my trunk. It doesn't even look lined up right anymore but luckily it still opens and closes. They took off both covers to the wires for the back lights that are inside of the trunk but never bothered to put them back on, just threw them loose in the trunk. I did a survey for the insurance company telling them about it because I really was not happy and the insurance company was the reason i called this place to begin with. After i did the survey, Rosann called and left me a message saying they never went in my trunk. She shouldve talked to the people who worked on it before basically calling me a liar because they most definitely took those pieces off and didn't put them back. I had moved stuff out of my trunk so it wouldn't be in their way and both of those covers were attached when i left my car there. I sent her a email with pics to show her what i was talking about but got zero response to my email. Id strongly recommend going somewhere else. I let the good customer service convince me to trust these people but the work was terrible. Very unacceptable to give someone back their car like this. I wasnt even asking them to fix it although they should have to, but i need my car to get to and from work. Really, i just wanted them to know so they are more careful with other people's cars instead she calls and says they weren't in my trunk. Those piece's didn't come off by themselves and the garbage bags i had in my trunk didn't just magically move to the back seat. Be Careful going here. Id recommend making a video of your car before dropping it off so if u get your car back like i did you have before and after photos. Very disappointing and a waste of the insurance company's money. I have a video that i took when i picked up my car and was still in their parking lot that shows the trunk and scratches but I didn't open the trunk to see inside until i got home and went to put my stuff back in the trunk. All photos/videos were taken the same day i got my car back. I wish id done a video before dropping it off. They were careless and the light scratches on top look like they put tools or something on the car while working on it and they scratched it. Scratches are not deep. My cars not perfect so im not bothering with scratches but its the point. Theres scratches on my "new" bumper too. I really wish i had not gone here. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. If you do go here take a video of your entire car before dropping it off so they cant call you a liar.

I am from out of state and was traveling in Vermont when I had a mishap on I-89 late at night…read more Front bumper was nearly falling off of my Honda Odyssey when I hobbled into Burlington. Called Runway first thing the next morning, explained my situation, and they told me they could see me immediately. After just an hour, they had secured the bumper as well as wheel well liners that were missing fasteners. When I asked how much I owed, they told me it was no charge. Such unexpected kindness during a very stressful time far away from home. Thank you! Would definitely recommend them to anyone for their integrity, quality work, and responsiveness.

These guys were able to quickly and very cheaply identify the issue as a faulty seat-belt sensor. The team at Quintin Auto went above and beyond my expectations and looked into my the car history and determined that the sensor was under lifetime warranty through the original dealer. This extra research saved me close to $275 and highlights their commitment to their customers.

I wanted Quintin Brothers to work out because there are very few shops in the Burlington area…read morewilling to work on older cars. They clearly have knowledgeable people on staff, and the shop is fun to visit if you like muscle cars, hot rods, and sports cars. Unfortunately, my experience with a largely original full-size American car has been much less positive. While their positive reviews suggest they are a great fit for modified performance vehicles, it has not been a good fit for an uncommon, original full-size American car for a few key reasons: Turnaround & Scheduling: Appointments can be many weeks out. This is a critical factor for local owners since our old-car driving season in Vermont is so short. Ignoring Factory Specifications: When the shop replaced my wheel studs, I provided a tip sheet with factory specs, including the 65 ft-lb wheel-nut torque specification. At pickup, I was told they torqued them to 100 ft-lb and that I should re-torque them to 100 after a few miles. When I pointed out the factory spec, the response was "cars go faster now." This logic makes no sense for a late-1960s car designed for sustained highway speeds. Quality Control Issues: On another occasion, the shop replaced the valve-cover gaskets. Both later leaked badly enough that the car failed state inspection. When I raised the problem, I did not receive a meaningful response or an offer to correct the work. My Takeaway:I can't tell whether the problems stem from the technicians, the front office, communication between the two, or a combination. But when you are dealing with a rare car and scarce, expensive components, you need a shop that takes factory technical information seriously, communicates carefully, and stands behind its work. Based on my experience, I would not take my car back here.
