Came here for a gel pedicure and my sister got a gel manicure and pedicure. They were both great and detailed. The salon is clean and up to date. It has a cozy feel to it. We booked online and they seemed a little distraught, only one of the two people we booked could paint nails it seemed, so we had to wait a little longer than I would say necessary because one person had to paint both our toes and nails. It was a slower day as there weren't that many clients but on a busy day I'm sure that would've been a nightmare. I went in for gel manicure and gel pedicure today. I had an appointment and they called and asked me to come in early, which I did. My pedicure was first. I got the deluxe (says it's 1 hour. I was done in 40 minutes). Gel polish and shaping is nice. Nice pressure on the massage just wish it was longer. Zero work on dry areas of my feet?? Then I went to the manicure chair. A different manicurist came over, after a few minutes, and shaped my nails. Then I waited 30 minutes (remember they asked me to come in early) for my nails to be polished. I could look past the wait had the quality been there. I had red (non-gel/regular) polish on when I came in. Well, there's still red on the corners of my nails. There was even red polish smeared on my finger from the polish remover?? Polish on my nails is messy/bubbly. Rushed. Everyone was very nice. Salon was clean. Prices seemed average for the area ($97). First time there. Very clean and new but did not like the way my nails turned out -- too thick and lopsided. Owner looked at them and thought they looked great. Will go someplace tomorrow to have them fixed. He took a picture of my nails to show me how nice they looked. He's crazy. Just got home and had a good look at my nails. She didn't polish all of the sides and when you're wearing a bright color it sticks out like a sore thumb. I just finished filing the calluses off of the sides too. You would think the owner would have suggested that I come back to have someone finish the mani correctly instead of taking a picture of my nails to show me how good they looked. Of course they look good the way he took the picture. I wasn't born yesterday. He's a joke. He must have never heard that the customer is always right. My friend came here a long time ago when it was under the previous owners, and she mentioned that everything seems upgraded from before. This is one of the friendliest nail salons I've ever been to, and the color selection (especially for gel) is HUGE. You also get a complimentary back/neck massage at the end of your manicure, which is much appreciated! You can easily schedule appointments online, and I've never had an issue getting in there or with having to wait. My only complaint is my last gel manicure seemed to make my nails *much* weaker and more pliable than any other gel manicure I'd had. I paint my nails/get gel manicures *very* infrequently, so my natural nails are very strong, but my tech buffed/sanded my whole nail (not just the tips) for what seemed like a very long time, so perhaps that was the reason? Again, I'm not well-versed in nail techniques, so maybe that's common, but it seemed to do a bit more damage to my nails than I was hoping. Overall, though, friendly service and a fair price. Ew!!! I went there a few times because of a good deal and the back massage they give you while your nails dry. The gel manis were never great, but back i went every time. BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! Last time I was there, sitting in the pedicure chair, I see the massage therapist come out of a massage with her client. I have gone to this salon numerous other times but I am very disappointed after this last visit. When I got into the pedicure chair there were a bunch of tools on the technicians table and all she did was swirl them in the barbicide solution before using on me. That is not the proper sterilizing procedure! Those tools need to sit immersed in that solution for 10-15 in between customers. When I was done my nail tech carried the same tools to use on the next customer. How can you operate a nail salon and not be vigilant about sanitary procedures? My mom and I have been to EV Nails before and have good experiences, which I why I will give them the extra star. However, that changed today when we made appointments for 2 mani-pedis. Our appointments were for 11:00 and we arrived at 10:45 and saw that it was busy...no big deal, we didn't mind waiting those last 15 minutes. We were told to pick out a color and wait. As we were waiting, another 2 people walked in without appointments and sat next to us. Around 11, the mother and daughter that walked in without appointments were told to sit in a chair and only ONE of us between my mom and I were able to sit in a chair. Fine -- the chair next to mine opened up after 5/10 minutes and my mom was able to be next to me. However, the walk in pair started to get their pedicures and my mom and I were left waiting for 30 minutes without any updates from the staff and with COLD water! We couldn't wait around all day, which is why we made the appointments, and were forced to put our socks and shoes back on with wet feet (we were coming from a workout class) and leave. Not only that, our friend had an appointment at the same time and saw that they put someone else in the water after we left without draining it. Think about that! Dirty foot water! Gross! I have been to many nail salons in the Cherry Hill/Medford/Marlton area and this is by far the best one (as far as casual nail places go). The staff is friendly and professional, and the place is very clean. Regardless of what kind of nail service you are getting, there are TONS of colors to choose from (gel or regular) and the staff is good at giving recommendations if you find yourself a bit indecisive :) The actual manicure is very nice, complete with a paraffin wax and a short back massage while your nails are drying. There are coupons on their website as well as in the Clipper, so don't come without one! They also have a loyalty card, and every 10th service gives you a free manicure. Once you've come 5 times, they make you a "toolbox" with your own tools so that you do not have to use the standard files, clippers, and buffer. First time at this salon, I made an online appointment on Thursday for 6pm on Friday. When I went in, it was empty and there was one other woman there, and 2 other people who came in later that night. I went for a Gel manicure but the procedure that the nail tech did was different from what I used to. She cut my cuticles dry before soaking and didn't push them back. They have a coupon for $25 gel nails which is the price whenever I get them done in Philadelphia. The tools that she used did not seem too sanitary or clean, and had some leftover skin or dust residue. She just wiped the cuticle cutters down with a paper towel after she was done. There were visible strokes on two of the fingers after the top coat cured, possibly from uneven application. I told the manicurist and she tried to fix it, but it a little less visible than the first time. I am not sure if all the nail techs at the salon are experienced with using gel or using the right technique. They have a fairly large selection of gel colors (around 10 swatch boards). They also give you a massage and warm towels for your hands which is nice. read more

Half of my hairs are left. And it was very painful. She use the same stick for my bikini and legs. With one stick she did my all wax it was horrible experience will never be go back agin for waxing. I used to frequent this nail salon because of their mani/pedi special and also because it was close to my home. The services are ok for the price however it's best to make an appt. I stopped going because one time I went for my mani/pedi and after I got up from the pedi chair, one of the technicians went to clean the bowls. For some odd reason she took extra extra extra time cleaning the bowl that I just left. One of the other clients noticed and kept looking at me and back at her scrubbing till she broke a sweat and back at me.
