Being a single mom, plus prices going up overall in this crap economy, I stopped getting my nails done a while ago . . . Last night, I treated myself to a full set of acrylics - and a French manicure (my absolute favorite), at that. I have some important and fun things coming up that I wanted my hands to look pretty for . . . The young girl (Calvin retired) with clear framed glasses, who did my nails did a beautiful job - look wise. About 20 minutes after my nails were done, my finger tips were THROBBING. This lasted until I went to bed - I kept rinsing my hands under cold water, and I even took Tylenol, hoping to ease the pain! WTH?!! I've been minorly cut before while getting my nails done in the past, but have never experienced PAIN like this. It was crazy, and made me very cranky! Almost as crazy was the whopping $60 that I was charged! The young girl told me that a French manicure was $9 extra. Even without that, too darn high of a price! I have NEVER paid this much for an acrylic French manicure, and I never will again! I'm saddened that I won't be returning to Pink Petal, because I used to love this place, and it's so close to where I work that I used to walk to it. 2.5 stars read more

I received a Lavender Gel Spa Pedicure by Quin! I didn't make an appointment but it was empty so no wait. Quin took her time and did a great job! Absolutely amazing! I have issues with callouses & she soaked and scrub my feet very well. I will definitely be returning next month! The cost was $55.00 for a Gel Spa Pedicure. $45.00 with regular Polish. This Particular place prefers CASH ONLY. They'll take card in an emergency but they prefer cash. There's an ATM available inside. PS: there's a Dunkin Donuts next door for convenience! read more

Great job all around. Brand new and clean. Looks like a luxury spa. Beautiful and spacious inside. I have been going here since the grand opening and I love all the color selections. I left my last salon bc they had old-outdated colors and polish and constantly squeezed other appointments over mine even when I had an appointment-overbooking and leaving me and others waiting. Not here. Here they are flexible and accommodating. Clean, new furniture is refreshing. Walk ins or appointment-they are on top of it here. read more

I had a wonderful time for my first visit. Tracy did my dip mani and pedicure and was patient and attentive. They are a very clean establishment and listen to your wants and needs. They also have a loyalty card and after your 5th visit, you get $5 off! Very affordable prices considering many salons in the area have went up. I will be back! read more

I really want to like this place. It's clean, cute, great staff, and great prices. I've been there 4 or 5 times and I think my last time was finally my last. I can NEVER get a gel full set without it lifting or nails falling off. I don't abuse my nails, I take good care of them.. but I always seem like I'm loading up with nail glue after 2 days. This time it only took 4 or 5 days after a full gel set and I lost 2 NAILS while getting dressed :( last time I lost 4 in just under a week. I've had the hot gel and acrylic. Idk what gel or powder they use, but it just is terrible. read more

Went in for a pedicure. I was done in 14 minutes. For $33 + tip I could've just washed my own feet and put on nail polish.

I had been going to this establishment for several months. My manicurist had left and I chose someone else who appeared to be good. On the day of my appointment she was very busy and asked if someone new could do my pedi. This person was new to doing pedis. After she made two of my toes bleed I was upset. The other girl did my mani in which I complained about my being cut. She asked if someone drove me and if I was ok. Yes I am 60 and working so I was appalled at her comments. Too bad the boss was not there. I never went back again. Several friends had similar negative experiences. They lost us as customers. My advise is don't go. read more

I had a gel pedicure today. No scrubbing, no pushing or cutting the cuticles, the bottom of my feet were not smoothed, and no cream! I gave 2 stars because the salon is beautiful and very relaxing. I will need to get another pedi elsewhere tomorrow. Very dissatisfied! read more

My 11 year old daughter and I tried this place for the first time since our regular nail place couldn't fit us in last minute. My husband wanted to surprise me and my daughter. Very bad experience. My husband had scheduled 9:30 pedis. The saw me around 9:45 and my daughter at 10:00. The woman took about 20 minutes, max, TOTAL with my daughter. Her polish was terrible. The woman literally didn't say one word to her. At $64 for simple pedicures, we will never, ever go back. Terrible service and extremely disappointing. read more
