Very disappointed with Wendy the new owner. Besides LYING to customers for months saying that Michael and Jen were coming back, they are no longer accepting any gift cards from before they took over. No notice either just said after my manicure that they can't accept it because it's "not their money." Well, it's my money that was invested into the company they purchased, but she doesn't seem to care. She lied and said they changed the name too yet it still says Eve Nails on the wall. Awful awful business to a customer who still went to them even after knowing they lied about the previous owners and knowing the quality of the manicures was not up to par with what Jen and Michael did. So disappointed, I will be going to one of the MANY salons Watertown has. Not a good way to keep customers. read more

The male owner always color matches older nail polish and pours it into new bottles. I watched him paint his nails with one from one bottle and another stroke from another, trying to match colors. The last time I was there they never changed the paper towel you put your hands on, it had some red nail polish from the prior customer. Honestly, go elsewhere. read more

Was getting a gel manicure and was on the first coat and I accidentally brushed off some of the polish on the paper towel when I was going to put my hand in the uv light machine and asked them to fix it before I put it under the light. However, they rudely said no and insisted I dry it in the machine with a half painted nail. I said no please fix it before I dried it and both of the people working screamed at me "DRY IT FIRST!!!!!!" after I had asked them nicely multiple times to fix it. The man ended up storming off and slamming the door to the back room. Rude people and bad manicure. There were bubbles and dust in the polish but didn't even bother to ask them to fix it because I was just trying to get out of there as soon as possible. Also they cut my nails too short and didn't push back my cuticles. They made me pay first so I asked for my tip back and left. Don't go here unless you want a bad manicure and to be berated by the staff. read more

I went here on a recommendation. New in town, I visited another salon and they just did a terrible job. Anxious to find another shop, and really embarrassed for the work the 'other' shop did.. I called here am got a quick appointment. It took them some time to break through the mess the other did on a botched shellac pedicure. They got it all off. Now, about 5 months ago a big drag queen stepped, and my stepped I mean danced on top of, my big toe and cracked it. I was using shellac to help grow it out. The girl that helped me here not only got the mountain of gel off from the other place, she said I didn't need shellac and put a patch on my toe instead. YAY! More pleasant surprises? They are okay here. Friendly which is a plus. I don't like how we have to pay extra to get our callouses (sp?) removed.. it's not like the regular callous remover. They put this stuff on your feet then put plastic bags over it. Once they're ready, they take the bags off and use this sand paper thing. I still have callouses. I paid 35$ and the massage sucked. They also use a timer for the leg massage. I use to come here a lot but it's gone down hill. I won't be back. read more

Pros/cons: their gel manicures last along time (1 month) but their customer service is poor. Since when is tipping not optional. Tipping is still optional and should be based on good service. They don't talk to the customer, only one word commands, they don't interact with anyone. I was only 1 of the 2 customers there for about 1 hour. There was no interaction with either the other customer nor myself. When the other customer was ready to pay they asked her about how she was going pay and had the nerve to ask about the tip. I paid cash as they give a discount if you pay cash and left a tip. Nothing was said not even thank you. If you can't acknowledge me during my time with you and then not acknowledge the tip then you will not get my business. Sorry nail places are everywhere. I'll find one that is friendly and is thankful for whatever tip they receive.... read more

Never had a manicure without soaking the finger before filing the nails! She pushed the cuticle back with her fingernail, she didn't clean the nail or massage the hand with cream! There are two ladies that work there that are wonderful, the only reason I go back...but the owners are so rude! The most annoying thing is that someone will start your nails and then someone will just take over. No thank you! Or you will be getting your nails done and they just get up and leave to go do a waxing or finishing someone else up and your just sitting there like really!?!? This is what the owners do, not the other workers. I hate giving to businesses that are rude to their costumers. Be grateful that we keep you in business and show your appreciation. read more

I don't even want to give one star. The worst. I would go regularly but the got a rash on my foot. I went to get get a gel manicure the other day and the lady didn't even take of all the gel before filing and was filing crooked. I asked her to not file my nails crooked and requested to do it. The man that over sees was very nasty and said no they started yelling at me. I got up made my mom get up and will never go back. I advise anyone reading this to avoid the place. Terrible pedicure. Paid for spa pedicure. Did not get even a basic pedicure. Untrained staff. Polish on skin, feet not smoothed down. Workers chatted with each other and paid no attention to customers. Terrible waste of 47$plus tip for crappy job. Stay home and paint your own nails and save yourself 50$ or find a better place. Worst gel manicure ever! The paint is so thick it looks like gaudy fake nails. She got paint on the tip of each finger and didn't get it off before putting my hands under the light so now it's stuck on and she wanted to cut the skin off of my finger tips to fix it. When I expressed that I was unhappy nicely to the owner she was aggressively upset and verbally abusive. I would never go back and I would never tell anyone to go here. I would not suggest this nail salon to anyone! I went there to get my toes and nails done for my wedding and the male who works there was ridiculously rude! He was making noises and funny faces at me while I was trying to talk to him. What I thought was supposed to be a fun experience for my wedding, ended up being a nightmare.
