Awful experience and over priced. I made an appointment for 12pm for a manicure and toe polish change with my polish I brought from home. I waited 45 minutes to be seated for my polish change and ended up not getting a manicure- polish change on both toes and hands. When I went to check out, they wanted $25.00 for polish changes on my toes and hands. Beyond ridiculous if you ask me. The menu at the check out also stated $8 color change. After all of that I was charges $20.00 and gave a $5 tip for service. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible experience. Horrible quality! I have powder dip on my nails, one nail cracked the same day I had it done and I had to go back the next day to be fixed. This was 1 week ago and in this time that same nail has broken again, plus another nail cracked on the other hand. I also just looked at my gel pedicure and noticed a chip on one of my toes as well. Switching from a terrible nail spa Linas. Went for the first time. Immaculate place. If you want to get in and out in 1/2 hour without all the frills except a quick neck massage, this is it. Once again if you don't want to get a rip-roaring nail infection go here. I was a little concerned about the autoclave process as the instruments came out in a sterile package but as soon as the technician was finished with my nails she packaged up my instruments in the same little bag it came in. I took my mom here for Mother's Day. I called several days in advance and made a reservation for 2pm. When we got there at 1:58, I stood in a line of people both paying and checking in. When it was my turn at 2:05 and I said we were here for our 2pm manicures, the employee rudely asked me what time it was. I explained it was after 2 but we'd been waiting for a few minutes. I was told they'd be right with us. Around 2:15, they called us back. My handicapped mother got halfway to the station when they told us there was a mix-up and it'd be a few more minutes. Finally we were sat down at 2:25. One technician split her time between my mom and me. It was so rushed - not at ALL the pampering experience I had in mind. Our nails looked fine and this place is impeccably clean, but I paid the same price I would out in Boston and got much worse service so I doubt I'll be back. read more

I went here a long time ago and had a great manicure so I went back. I won't return. My pedicure hurt several times, the foot massage was nice, the results good. I had to tell the person though that it was not gel polish on my nails as she started to remove like it was, she never used the lotion for cuticles, just jammed them, never trimmed the dead skin around my nails, one thing I really look for. She appeared to be fresh out of school with trying to remember the steps. There are just too many salons out there to pick from to get a better experience. read more

I stopped here on a whim because my normal nail place wasn't open on a Sunday, and this place was. I looked online for reviews, and saw that they offered a pretty nice spa pedicure and all the 5 star reviews enticed me to go. I needed to get a fill for my nails anyways, and decided I could pamper myself at the same time with the pedicure. Upon entering, I can tell that it is definitely updated. Very nice, smelled wonderful, and everybody seemed friendly. I decided to go for the Pearl Spa pedicure. As they were soaking my feet, one of the nail techs came up to me and asked me what I had on my nails. I said "I have acrylic". She said "We can take those off and put gel on them" Immediately in my head I'm thinking "why? So you can charge me for the take off, then a new set of gel tips?" No thank you. I said "No, I will keep the acrylic, I don't like the gel. Been there, done that". She then left. The spa pedicure was mediocre. They did spend some time, but it states you get a 15 minute massage. What they don't tell you, is it's broken up. So instead of getting a continuous 15 minute massage, it's broken up. So you'll get 2 minutes here, 5 minutes there, then a couple more here. I did not like that at all. My normal nail place has a little timer and they spend the full 7.5 minutes on each leg. That's usually why people pay for the spa pedicure, because it's nice to have that ongoing. I did enjoy everything they used, and it smelled great and my little feet were so smooth. When I sat down to get my fill, the nail tech (different one, this time a guy) asked what I had on my nails. I said for the 3rd time now, acrylic. He turned and told me, "we don't have acrylic at this nail salon" What in the??!!!!! What nail salon in this day and age doesn't have freakin acrylic. And what annoys me the most is I told the lady 3 times before that what I had!!!!!!! I felt really duped and that she didn't tell me that from the beginning because I was spending such a huge amount on a pedicure, they probably thought they could get more money out of me with the gel. After he told me that I just said "that's ok. I wish I knew that from the beginning" He then gave me a 10 minute speech one how acrylics don't work and aren't worth the money, and how he's been in the business 10 years and the gel is worth so much more and yadda yadda yadda" Ok thats great and all. But I've been there done that with about every nail technique and I like what I like. I didn't appreciate being battered and looked down upon because I had crappy ol' acrylics on my nails. Then, as I was drying my feet HE WAS STILL GOING!!!!!! After I was done and ready to pay he followed me to the cash register and CONTINUED TALKING ABOUT THE GEL!!!!!! And told me when I'm ready to invest in good gel tips, to come to him. UHH NO THANKS!!!!! I tipped the guy who did my pedicure well because he was nice and did a good job. But I will NEVER return to this salon again. Even in a pinch like I was. read more

This salon has much competition in this area, however I believe they offer some of the best prices around and great quality. All their equipment is new and the salon is comfortable and modern. I do wish they had a larger variety of colors to choose from, however they treated me well. I was also not made uncomfortable by employees speaking in different languages to each other during my treatment, which I appreciated. I will say it's VERY clean! And the staff is VERY nice! But this is the WORST my nails have ever looked walking out of a salon! Smudged all over my skin. She put way to many coats of paint so it looks like 3D art on my fingers. Rough and bumpy! And they had the nerve to over charge me!!!!! 27$ to take my old polish off and paint my nails very sloppy,. I really like this nail salon. I've been there twice with my mom. The prices are not cheap, but still in the average range. It is clean, and has a bice atmosphere. You are really paing for the extras, like getting served Korean citrus tea, and a new-age toilet/bidet. It makes the experience feel more fun/special. The techs are very friendly. One of the girls moves fast through a gel manicure, but she does a great job, so no complaints there. I wish I could give 4.5 stars, because my only complaint is that they don't seem to take alot of care with getting rid of my calluses during a pedicure. On the other hand, the massage chairs are awesome (ive never cared about them anywhere else), so that makes a difference! read more

I have tried Golden Nail in the past and my gel polish chipped the first day I got them done. I decided to try it again because they had powder dip nails and wanted to try it compared to others. The price was more than others ($40 compared to $35) which is not terrible. I loved the way my nails came out. They were shaped really good and the color was nice. However, they only lasted me 5 days before my first chip. I have gotten powder dip before that has lasted me 4 weeks without any chips or the polish starting to come up. I am very unhappy about the chips because powder is suppose to last longer. read more

This place is great! Just went for the first time today and got a waxing (very decent prices btw) and a pedicure. The girl who did the waxing was sweet and the man who did my pedicure very methodical and gave the best leg and foot massage ever! They also offer this great tea- take them up on it. I don't know if I just had a freak experience or what when I came here but my service was soooo bad. I got a pedicure based on the reviews. It was rushed due to a line which is not ok because I am paying for the same service as the people you're rushing me to do. Didn't do any type of cuticle or dead skin removal. No massage. The little bag they put on your heel was not even touching my heel. Put two coats of polish right on top of each other then forced my shoes back on my feet without giving me anytime to dry after I said no its ok. I prefer to wear the sandals home so I know its completely dry but they insisted. Sure enough when I got home half the polish rubbed off. My toenails actually looked worse after this pedicure than they did before which I have to say I didn't know was possible lol. I'm beginning to come to the realization Watertown nail salons are just not good. read more

I decided to get a French manicure and I am very impressed with their work. They are a little more expensive then the salon I usually go to but it did include paraffin wax.
