When I saw that he was in the family business I didn't think twice about making our 1st appointment. My instincts proved to be right. Dr. Eric and his staff did what seemed like the impossible. They got my 4 year old autistic twin boys to have their teeth cleaned and do x-rays all while thinking it was fun! I appreciated how they make the first visit very educational and welcoming for all. One of my boys had to have a tooth pulled. I was nervous about having him awake for the procedure. I didn't think he would sit still. I did not give my son or them enough credit! My son laughed and giggled the entire time while watching his favorite movie and didn't even realize Dr. Eric pulled his tooth until we told him what happened. We just went back 6 months later and my son ran up to the door saying, "Is this where I lost my first tooth?" all smiles. He was excited to go back in! The staff remembered my kids and came in just to say hello. When my son later told his grandmother about his visit he said, "Someone helped me brush my teeth!" The other son kept talking about his x-rays and how he got to see his big boy teeth behind his baby teeth. He thought that was really cool. They both also loved all the toys they earned while being there. I recommend Dr. Eric to all of my friends. They were able to take my twin boys, one of whom wouldn't open his mouth for anyone, and make it an enjoyable experience. 5 stars all around!

If you have ever worked in a toxic workplace you will sense it here. No one smiles unless it's time to interact with you. Everyone is on pins and needles because they know the purpose: move as many kids through as possible, as quickly as possible, with as little attention to the individual as possible. They are fundamentally unhappy people, you can tell, when they greet you when they go through their scripted lines to get you moving as quickly as possible. A fake smile here to reassure the unwary. Toxic. It comes out in other ways too. If you ask too many questions, ask for alternatives, discuss what is happening, these are things that slow down the conveyor belt. These are absolutely not greeted with happiness, and can land you in hot water. This horrid, well polished treadmill will not give you the service your child deserves. Go elsewhere.

I rarely leave negative reviews. I'd much rather take the time to recognize businesses that provide…read moreexceptional care than focus on the bad. However, because this practice came so highly recommended by several people, I feel it's important to share my experience in hopes of helping other parents make an informed decision. Throughout our time with this practice, I repeatedly felt that the approach was more one size fits all than individualized. As a parent, I wasn't looking to challenge the doctor's expertise. I simply wanted to understand the reasoning behind the recommendations so I could make the best decision for my child. The biggest concern involved my newly three-year-old son, who has sensory and behavioral challenges. I had an airway appt bc of his sleep. He was recommended both upper and lower expanders. I went home and thought about it and wrote the doctor an email. I wasn't asking whether the treatment was appropriate; I wanted to understand what the potential consequences would be if we waited another year, given his age and unique circumstances. Unfortunately, the only response I consistently received from the staff (not the doctor) was, "she wouldn't have recommended it if she didn't think it was appropriate." While I respect the doctor's opinion, that didn't answer my question or help me weigh the risks and benefits of waiting. What made the experience more frustrating was that I couldn't have a follow up conversation with the doctor (only her team) without scheduling and paying for another appointment. After pushing this issue, I got a response "from the doctor" that I felt was AI generated. I also felt pressure to move forward with treatment because I was repeatedly told the cost could increase if we delayed. EVEN IN A MONTH! It left me feeling as though there was more urgency around committing to treatment than around helping me fully understand my options. Because I still didn't feel comfortable, I sought multiple second opinions. Each provider I consulted told me that in this case they would not recommend expanders for my child at this age, especially due to his sensory and behavioral challenges. While I understand that medicine is not always black and white and professionals can have different philosophies, those conversations made me feel that my son's individual needs had not been fully considered. This also wasn't my first disappointing experience with the practice. We previously had my son's tongue and lip tie released there as an infant, but unfortunately it did not improve anything. Looking back, I wish I had taken more time to seek additional opinions before moving forward. After sharing my experience with other parents, I was surprised by how many described similar concerns about it feeling like a factory. That ultimately gave me the confidence to write this review. I understand that many families have had positive experiences here, and I'm genuinely happy for them. But if you're a parent who likes to ask questions, understand the reasoning behind treatment recommendations, and explore whether there are REASONABLE ALTERNATIVES, my experience may be worth considering. I simply hope this helps another family make the decision that's right for their child.

Last week, my daughter saw Dr. Alvarado for the first time alongside Soli, who has been caring for my kids for years. Together, they were an absolute blessing. They didn't just provide excellent dental care--they created a space where my daughter felt safe, heard, and genuinely cared for. Their kindness, patience, professionalism, and knowledge were evident from start to finish. They took the time to do a thorough exam, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. As a parent, there's nothing more valuable than knowing your children are in compassionate, capable hands. Dr. Alvarado and Soli truly embody that rare combination of excellence and heart. I am extremely upset and honestly shocked by the level of care we received at this office…read more I brought my almost 6-year-old son, who has a disability, in because his face was swollen, his mouth smelled bad, and he had a fever. It was very obvious he had a serious dental issue, likely an infection. Instead, we were seen by someone named Soha Hemmat, who introduced herself as a doctor, but based on this experience, I seriously question her competence. She spent less than two minutes examining my son. No thorough check, no concern, no effort. She dismissed everything as "just a virus," told us to brush his teeth and give him Tylenol, and walked out like the situation didn't matter. That was completely wrong -- and dangerously negligent. My son's fever continued, and his condition did not improve. We had to contact his actual doctor and take him back to be seen again just six hours later. He was properly examined and diagnosed with a clear infection, and immediately given antibiotics. This could have gotten much worse because of her careless and dismissive attitude. I have been coming to this office for four years and have always had professional experiences, which makes this even more disappointing. But this encounter was unacceptable. No parent -- especially one with a child who has special needs -- should be brushed off like this. This office seriously needs to address this situation. Either provide proper training or reevaluate who they allow to treat patients, because this level of incompetence and lack of care is not just unprofessional -- it's dangerous. Be very careful if you are seen by this person.
